It's so good that someone is actually teaching this language. I would really love to see this language become more mainstream in the world and teaching it here helps that. Thank you so much.
10:33 actually it can be pronounced exactly like the E, it all depends on which pronunciation the speaker prefers to use (the options are: E, Je, Ije and I but i think there's also the option of pronouncing it as Ja like in some bulgarian dialects)
As a non-slavic speaker, I quite like that some letters and sounds are very similar to Esperanto, (which I do speak a little). For example, "ĉ" is pronounced the exact same way as in inter slavic, it's an esthetic difference. I'm very intrigued by this!
Well of course L.L. Zamenhof was a Pole... Polish orthography is of course very different to Interslavic, with many digraphs instead of accented characters, although it also has its share of accents. Esperanto style of a single letter with an accent is more like the Slovene/Croatian/BCMS pattern, which Interslavic now copies also. Even the Czech/Slovak orthography is more like this.
Truly thank you for your tutorial, it helps me so much. I hope you can keep this series going because there aren't many resources for interslavic learning.
Thank you so much for your support! Unfortunately, I finished with that because it is too hard to explain language that still doesn't have a lot of rules and words. I am glad my lessons helped you at least a bit.

does it make sense to learn interslavic instead of a single slavic language like russian? the thing is that i want to talk to multiple people out of different slavic countries. and i dont speak any slavic language yet so it seems really interesting to me.
That is actually really good question and I guess it depends why you want to learn. For fun and so you can communicate with others and making friends or for job or something more serious. If it is for the fun and communicating,it is great to learn it because you are learning that way also a lot of stuff from different Slavic languages, but if it is for something more serious, better learn other language because Interslavic is still improving and there is a lot of missing words in vocabulary of that language
This is not official language, you can use it as toll to comunicate with people. The trick here is to learn lot of synonims for one word and when someone speaks you can understand phrase. Difucult part is gremmar of Slavic languages, for example in Serbian language we have 7 forms of one word, if you take "ball" (lopta) for example declination will be lopta, lopte, lopti, loptu, lopto, lopti, loptom, depending on when you use the word. If this not crazy enough for you, you have another 7 for plural
It does! I plan on learning it to get started on Slavic languages, and then use my knowledge from it to help me learn languages like Russian or Polish.
i found some of the pronunciations a little confusing to write down. to either rewind or research a little bit for that stuff. an example in this video would have been C with the Tse sound. really good lesson but would be better if you wrote down the way the letter itself was pronounced as well, it helps me a lot when i do :DDD
Thank you so much for your comment and watching and learning with me! I am always grateful for constructive criticism so I will try to be better in the future! Thank you😊
9:00 ok why would interslavic use "emocija" We have "osjećaj" or "ćutnja" so I don't see a reason of using lone words I saw a few more of this situations with interslavic and it kind of bugs me
I can understand you,and actually there is another word for emotion and it is čuvstvo,so you can use it both😊 if you want to check more words, check out the new Interslavic dictionary on interslavic-dictionary.com
The reason is that interslavic choose the words, which are most common in slavic world. "Osjećaj" or "ćutnja" is completely unknown for Czechs (maybe also for Polish) but emocija is clear for us. Čuvstvo is similar to czech word cítění, so its not common but there is a similarity to emotion.
@@findinginspirationwithsand5963 Питање: да ли је у хрватском ćutnja синоним за osjećaj? NB - не šutnja (šutanje), него ćutnja. I recently acquainted with some texts in ISL and can straightly say - for Russians it won't work at all. And Latin as well as cirillic. For us it woul be very unusual to hack through all these apostrophs, homes and over and underline signs, which strewn all over the texts. And plus Jot-letters as divisive signs are too often to run into. In russian we have only one overline sign - Й and that's all. So if developers really want to put ISL through as useful language and not for only native slavic speakers, they firstly must deal with it. Look at English - very few overline signs, and here it is - the world language. Smooth and nice graphics is very important factor -based on this first impression potential learners would judge if it is worth to study that lang. MY BEST WISHES. BYE!
Well, my native language is Russian too, but I understand written interslavic perfectly. It's a little unusual, but not hard at all. Maybe it helps that I also know Ukrainian, but it's still an eastern slavic language (although probably closer to other slavic languages when it comes to vocabulary) written in Cyrillic. And it isn't true that й is the only letter with diacritics in Russian. There is also ё. You can argue that a lot of Russians simply write it as е, but it still part of the alphabet.
I think, it requires some explanation. Interslavic language is an easily understandable by every slavic speaker (I've tested it), the most difficult part, as you've already said is - written part of it. It is mostly because most of slavic languages does not have those ^^^^ letters, even latin does not have such letters that makes Interslavic language extemely unsusable among internet users it made for. Maybe .. maybe it is a good idea to use just a latin letters or cirillic ?
@@findinginspirationwithsand5963 Try learning it sometime! It's very easy, you can learn it in less than a day! Of course, you won't get it perfect each time, but with enough exposure you can read it like a native speaker could in the course of about a week.
