I really enjoy the Mitch reacts to TAS series lmao, it's fun to hear him explain stuff. This and the stuff you didn't know about Mario 3 series are peak content
@@nthgth yeah I even was making use of some of his knowledge last night when I was playing Lost Levels. Anytime I undershot a jump I went for a last ditch wall jump and actually made 2 of them and felt like a god gamer
Haha I love that you're like "how dare you!" when he just cheeses it and skips whole sections you probably worked really hard to build 😄 the magic of TAS. Really cool romhack, even if it's old. I'd like to check out some more "reasonable" ones for sure. I totally get what you mean by the difference between difficult and unfair lol
There's something very fun about movement in SMB3-style TASes. I think it's even more enjoyable than SMW runs. Awesome to see Tompa doing this stuff, and I'm sure he optimized every frame he could out of it.
I went and looked at the dates, and you released this about 9 months after Mario Maker was released, Mitch. It's still sick though, not taking anything away from you!
1:40 That glitch also existed in Platform Racing 2; with the right momentum and angle, you could fall out of the world, since you would pass through solid matter.
17:44 i have a feeling what happened here might be similar to a glitch that was discovered where you could clip through a firebar in smb1 by turning direction and adjusting marios hitbox at the exact moment it would intersect with the hazard, notice how the tas turns around for a single frame on the opposite side of the cannonball and continues moving
11:43 Is that thing with the giant ? block in the original, or just with the hack? I'm sure I've played through the original without dying and never had a problem like this. Unless it's only the ones containing a leaf which weren't in the original? Or maybe it's because the block isn't in a sub-area?
It blows my mind you only have 42k in followers. Your the greatest mario 3 speed runner!! Ryu should be telling everyone to join you. His followers think he might beat your 100% record someday, but I think they need to pull their fingers out of their butts and figure it out.
About the big blocks that doesn't respawn until you have died; is that true even for the one with the hammer suit i nthe original SMB3? You really have to die some time in that world or else it won't spawn? :D
Hi Mitch, I’ve been watching your videos for years now. I love your content. You are my favorite Super Mario Bros. 3 player/speed runner. I’ve never played any Kaizo games before except for Kaizo Mario World (the first one). I was only able to do the first level on the left & the yellow switch palace. Do you have any easier Kaizo rom hacks that you would recommend to me?
Very nice! This romhack looks absolutely brutal, but credit to Tompa for plowing through! By the way, what program did you use to create this hack? I am curious about trying my hand at a Mario 3 romhack, but didn't know what might be the best level editor?
c'mon man...is this really possible to finish??I'm 41 now and I finished SMB3 with cheats few years ago on my PC...when i was kid, i could never beat the game!!!this looks impossible to me!!!can this really be finished by human??
@@dylanzlol7293 i couldn't finish smb3 without cheats, and for this i would have to be 20 years only playing this every day, and then maybe...but it looks sick!!!in a good way

First step is save states just to complete
Second step is TAS runs to raise hype
Third step is RTA competitions

Yeah like he explains why this or that trick worked, at a pretty detailed level. It's really cool

Absolutely agree!

"I wouldn't recommend anyone play this."
"How dare you, Tomba! Play the game!"
I think we are all Tompa Fanboys
Yup
What's a "Tompa"?
I think the best tas'r of smb3
Love how some of the TAS strats look easier than the intended level

I've been subscribed a long time. This was fun
I'll never understand how I can watch so many of your videos on Mario 3 and never get bored
I love it so much 😂
Anyone else catch the leetspeak score going into 4-1? 31337 wonder if that's a coincedence.
All the "Whats" - Janky hack, mate.
5:30 that buzzy beetle is not a koopa
I know I'm dummy
23:02 Mitch being beavis and butthead.

Nah, the hitboxes just don't cover the lower parts of cannonballs.
Things I learned this video:
Mitch remembers THAT level.
Quality video as always 😎❤️🔥
Love that random bridge in the clouds.
Fun video! That was really entertaining
Crazy difficult but quite creative, another entertaining insane tas 💥
Tampa friggin legend!
This is a cool trip down memory lane
Oh my goodNES!!
This was super fun to watch. Now I'd love to watch Poo react to tas only kaizo hacks of smw.
24:30 the hits are on beat
A keep the shell level. That was def ahead of its time. You're too hard on yourself, rom hacks are tough. Kids use Mario Maker these days
I would love to see Mitch react to the Super Mario 3Mix TAS, lots of really cool stuff to showcase in that run.
Mitch: "I pretty much made the player do everything Small Mario"
Tompa: THE HELL YOU DID
Rules don't apply to me.
the Bowser finish was sick
At least your pipes weren't naked
1:00 is that a challenge Mitch?

Mario's climbing walls like Megaman X!
11:49 that's why the tooniki suit in SM3 world 5 never spawned!?!?!?!?😮
Who else had the World 6 Sky on their bed sheets growing up in the 90s?
I remember watching GlitchCat play this a while back. Don't remember whether or not he finished it
Would you consider a short video on how to make mario 3 rom hacks?
Take a shot every time the TAS does something it's not supposed to do.
Already wasted before world 1 ends
Looks like crazy and hard Mario maker levels lol
Your romhack isn't anything until Tompa destroys it.
Insane level
Technically a TAS is constant savestates, but swag swag swag anyway.
Love it!
The graphics glitches is a results of bank switching It's a technique used in old computers and game systems.
Is Tompa + TAS a God or something? Wtf?

Mars volta is going on tour. Are you going to see them?
Any chances you go back to that romhack to polish it a bit more? It looks like a great romhack honestly!

Nah this a catrisun
"I remember this level" 😂
1:05 did I hear avgn?
Thnk you jeaus lord
You should try and remake some of the level's here on SMM2.. :D
Question - is there any way to make a hack like this work for All-Stars?
You should make a sequel to this one
Thanks
That’s a buzzy beetle not a Koopa.
Is there a video of a person attempting these levels?
Hits a imaginary block? 2:44

Ok but how many subs to get you to play through this?
Played ur hack i actually enjoyed it except the frog suit on bolts that was a low way to make it hard lol well for me I suck with the frog suit on
31:56 Thwag thwag thwag. hah
You should do a remaster of this romhack. Fix the ugly and modernize it.
MFP!!!
I still cant beat the normal game like wtf are these players super human? o_O
You're not supposed to do that!
I don't understand what this TAS means? Is this just a computer playing the game?
You should translate this to Mario Maker!
❤️❤️
Neat
Buzzy*
