First step is save states just to complete
Second step is TAS runs to raise hype
Third step is RTA competitions
Haha I love that you're like "how dare you!" when he just cheeses it and skips whole sections you probably worked really hard to build 😄 the magic of TAS.
Really cool romhack, even if it's old.
I'd like to check out some more "reasonable" ones for sure. I totally get what you mean by the difference between difficult and unfair lol

I really enjoy the Mitch reacts to TAS series lmao, it's fun to hear him explain stuff. This and the stuff you didn't know about Mario 3 series are peak content

@@nthgth yeah I even was making use of some of his knowledge last night when I was playing Lost Levels. Anytime I undershot a jump I went for a last ditch wall jump and actually made 2 of them and felt like a god gamer

There's something very fun about movement in SMB3-style TASes. I think it's even more enjoyable than SMW runs. Awesome to see Tompa doing this stuff, and I'm sure he optimized every frame he could out of it.
I went and looked at the dates, and you released this about 9 months after Mario Maker was released, Mitch. It's still sick though, not taking anything away from you!

1:40 That glitch also existed in Platform Racing 2; with the right momentum and angle, you could fall out of the world, since you would pass through solid matter.

Hi Mitch, I’ve been watching your videos for years now. I love your content. You are my favorite Super Mario Bros. 3 player/speed runner. I’ve never played any Kaizo games before except for Kaizo Mario World (the first one). I was only able to do the first level on the left & the yellow switch palace. Do you have any easier Kaizo rom hacks that you would recommend to me?

About the big blocks that doesn't respawn until you have died; is that true even for the one with the hammer suit i nthe original SMB3? You really have to die some time in that world or else it won't spawn? :D

It blows my mind you only have 42k in followers. Your the greatest mario 3 speed runner!! Ryu should be telling everyone to join you. His followers think he might beat your 100% record someday, but I think they need to pull their fingers out of their butts and figure it out.

11:43 Is that thing with the giant ? block in the original, or just with the hack? I'm sure I've played through the original without dying and never had a problem like this. Unless it's only the ones containing a leaf which weren't in the original? Or maybe it's because the block isn't in a sub-area?

17:44 i have a feeling what happened here might be similar to a glitch that was discovered where you could clip through a firebar in smb1 by turning direction and adjusting marios hitbox at the exact moment it would intersect with the hazard, notice how the tas turns around for a single frame on the opposite side of the cannonball and continues moving
Nah, the hitboxes just don't cover the lower parts of cannonballs.

on my PC...when i was kid, i could never beat the game!!!this looks impossible to me!!!can this really be finished by human??
Its possible to finish, despite it being pretty hard, in this world, some guys are definitively a million times more skilled than others.
@@dylanzlol7293 i couldn't finish smb3 without cheats, and for this i would have to be 20 years only playing this every day, and then maybe...but it looks sick!!!in a good way
