Hey bud I have a question when your doing the one by one style swap aren’t you supposed to torque each stud to the bolt your replacing final torque setting then go up from there once all the studs are swapped in because 50# is like 40# light on the bolt specs which sorta defeats the 1by1 swap

Idk if you’ll see this but if your doing one by one do you just tourque it to max tourque or go through the sequence

@Kyle have you posted a video of your own testing?

    • @mylesswann530

@Kyle Do you have any links for your research? You're questioning the company but haven't tried the product; your asking for proof of their trade and manufacturing and completely over looking the example they give being their product. As far as materials go wouldn't that information be proprietary? You have to search for ARP materials, they sure as hell ain't telling you what the aged 625s are made out of. To your point on "Fastenal" bolts, If there was a cheap and dirty way everyone would be doing it. They aren't going to warranty their bolts either when you tell them what they're being put in.
Lastly ARP as a brand has nothing to prove, it's an established name that generations have trusted. They can afford to sit back and let their name sell their products and charge the price they do because of it. Xotic isn't a house hold name, they're brand new and challenging ARP's market dominance, Xotic has everything to prove because of the competition they're up against. To even be in the same ring as ARP they need an aggressive and modern marketing campaign, (when is the last time you saw an ad for ARP on social media?) and to back that up they need a product with high quality control and customer service not seen before. I'm more inclined to give Xotic a chance because they're hungry and looking to take a bite out of ARP. With not only a product but service aswell. If you think about it, it makes sense. It's just like college sports vs pro league, college is more fun to watch because the players are hungry to make it pro and have to put everything on the table.

@Kyle Links, I want to see what you saw exactly. Who were they sold under on Amazon? What name? You're making all these claims and telling me to go find it, but I guarantee I'm not going to see the same thing you did. You mention 150$ bones as if that's braking the bank, in comparison to ARP that's a fraction of the price.

@Kyle It'd be called a patent not a copyright. Patents are expensive and lengthy in obtaining for a company. Which is why they leave it at proprietary materials, can you find me a MSDS on ARP Aged 625s? Or better yet buy a set, and send them off to a lab to be analyzed. Where does it matter where it's manufactured as long as the quality control is good? You can make good products in China, so long as a company is giving the right instructions for the manufacturing process and not cutting corners.

Its cheaper to buy arp studs for the 12v for the new style arp you dont have to buy the cut pedal stoles. I was looking at them way cheaper for the 24v's than arp.

It's a good product but the gasket crush has already reached its max from the beginning. I dont think it will go much more especially if it's got alot of miles on it . But good luck man . Nice set up
