I grew up in the Dallas/Ft Worth area. I can tell you that it’s always under construction in that area!! Used to refer to I 75 which goes North and South the longest parking lot because it moved so slow back then. They can’t keep up with the amount of new people coming to DFW. Been that way all 56 years I have lived in Texas
It’s not often you see someone with enough Fresh water hose get water from the next state. The most organised RVs we have ever seen. Having met them before let me say how organized they both are. There's a reason David has such an nice collection of spare parts and Replacements tucked away in the belly of their trailer.
I enjoy watching your video's, appreciate your positive attitude, and the spirit to go to all the places that you do. Having a 41' 5th wheel w/ a F-350 myself, I'm impressed with the places you guys can get into. Please keep up the good videos, safe travels.
I used to order all my vans and service trucks in white. Unless you touch it to make a pattern, they actually show dust and road grime less than any other color.
I'm laughing so hard, shaking my head up and down, and saying out loud "I know that's right!" My husband 10 ft away in our RV is like what? You guys sound just like us!! I think too many gps's is a bad thing. I rode with him for a year when he was an 18 wheeler driver and now almost 6 years in our 40' Class A. It's an adventure for sure!!! Have fun. Safe travels! ~Lynette
I’m happy to be part of the 40k + who enjoy watching your channel. I always look forward to this time of the week to see the next adventure! Thanks for sharing with us!!
I love all the wildflower footage. "He who has a watch knows the time, but he who has two watches, does not know the time." Having two GPS devices can be just as confusing. We can't always trust our GPS either. We've been in that area of Texas. When I saw Wills Point, I knew where you were. We stayed in the Thousand Trails park in Lake Tawakoni. It's really pretty there, but we have a membership, so it doesn't cost us anything nightly to stay. I enjoy your videos. Congratulations on your milestone for subscribers!
Great comment on the time, Phyllis. Thanks. We usually take each GPS directions with a grain of salt and confirm with map! We have never stayed at Lake Tawakoni but we have up at Lake Texoma. Nice area. Thank you.
Being from West Texas, i can help you with the white pickup enigma. It gets very hot in the summer time. A white pickup is not as hot in the extreme heat. Also a lot of the big oil companies buy fleets of pick ups. Usually all in one color, white.
Thanks, Debbie. We figured that was the reason but it's just so weird to see SOOO many in the area. But it makes sense since it's all about the oil in West Texas. Appreciate your comment and clarifying that for us.
I’m an RV diva princess too! Tent days over. Canadians ❤ Hobby Lobby. Never seen that cool roller contraption to empty hose. A good reward after a long day. Congrats on 40K…more to come I’m sure 🇨🇦 ❤
I went thru Weatherford several years ago in a 1 ton pickup pulling a 25' horse trailer around that court house in 5 o'clock traffic. What a nightmare. People were giving me ugly looks. Glad ya'll did ok.
Made me own steakhouse burger for Dinner last night. Pan fried big bubba hand patted beef, grilled mushrooms and green chilies , Swiss and pepper jack cheese on butter grilled sourdough bread with A1 sauce!

Hey J&A, thanks for the answer. We weren't sure why but all of the cars were positioned the same so we thought it was procedure. Thank you. From speaking with you earlier, we figured the car right behind was steering on turns but not sure why so close. Ok...makes sense to insure no one cuts in. That was a long load. Not sure how you guys did it for so many years. Wow! It's impressive. Safe travels to you.
Enjoy your channel and love the rig. Makes my 40 ft diesel look minuscule. I watch you use your collapsible ladder to get on your roof. Could you please provide me with the make and model of it? I checked our Amazon store but did not see it. Keep up the bad jokes as I have heard some of mine used by you and that drives my kids nuts - so I won't stop.

Loved it! Looks like another route I've taken across country! Especially when I missed a turnoff on the interstate passed Dallas to go to north to Little Rock and ended up turning north on a back road (like the one you took!) from just before Waco and I ended up stopping in Hot Springs to eat dinner at the Pizza Hut lol. I was driving a diesel Ryder tilt cab box truck with a trailer in tow with my pick up on it. Moving back to VA from San Diego, 1999! I enjoy riding along as always.
More than anything I enjoy your videos because of your positive attitudes, making you a pleasure to watch and travel with you. Be healthy, stay safe and many blessings, Morgan
In your last video, the stop sign at the traffic light is common outside of the US. It is for when the traffic light is inop or turned off. The person was honking behind you because you were stopped at a green light. Ignore the stop sign when at a traffic light.

My compliments! This was just beautifully filmed and edited, and the music fit perfectly. WOW! You could do this for a living, if you ever wanted to. The whole thing was beautifully assembled and the flowers 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 The sad note was the loss of that spectacular ceiling fan that I loved. PS. Can’t tell you how much I enjoyed the movie version. Almost an hour and it flew by !!
Glad you enjoyed it, Susan! Yes, we were sorry to lose the fan but it was on borrowed time as we had a few other issues related to travel. We'll get a more "conventional" fan as a replacement. The flowers were spectacular and such a welcome sight after the desert for 3 months. Happy you to hear you enjoyed the "directors cut, extended version"! 🤣😊😎

We really appreciate your time watching the channel and are excited to have you along on the journey. It's definitely corny...we try to tone it down but sometimes it just flows!
@@bigtruckbigtravels Actually a little enhanced. LBJ's wife wanted to increase the Texas beauty so she did a planting of blue bonnet and Indian paint brush down the medium of the Major Texas highway system. Got her husband, forner president to get the wardens of the major jails involved and used prisoneers to clean up trash and plant the seeds. Rows of convicts chained together in orange jump suits working the medium like sa field and guards on horseback watching work in 110 degree heat. Trust me it will make an impression on a four year old. You dad leans over the seat and says that's what happens to boys who don't do well in school. Yikes.... Lol.
I was in Camp Verde, AZ in a Thousand Trails campground and it was the first time I’ve seen a rig like yours, although they were towing a full size truck. It looks impressive to see in person.
Blue bonnets are very beautiful..Texas Green...I have not saw bright green grass in since last year what a treat. Were u able to fix the water line without to much trouble? And the fan. A more expensive week for you but thankfully you are probably able to do it yourself! Great video as always. See you next week!❤ congrats to 42 thousand.. its just the beginning. Your just getting warmed up!
Thank you very much. Water line will be in a month and the fan will be in the near future. Just need to find a nice style we like. Bluebonnets are spectacular this year.
16:53 I reccomend putting something similar to a heat shield or diamond plate to protect that water line. I would completely shield every part that sticks out from under the RV. Additionally, I would wrap the entire water line in an insulating tube that looks like a skinny pool noodle. That will protect it from road crud AND freezing weather.
I wish my Volvo cabover had a table set up in it, when you work and live in it, it would come in handy. Love the vids and seeing th US that you would not normally see👌
We love the Volvo dinette table setup. We always wanted a cabover but there are some things we'd have to give up so we're happy with what we have. Thanks for the comment. Appreciate your time watching the channel.
We love your videos. Your senses of humor and positivity is refreshing. I am so glad that you put how you found the TSC in Weatherford, TX! After I looked at all of my tools and couldn’t find it I went to your video and read your info on the video. I’ve been finding cool places to boondock with our 40’ DP and toad for 8 years but you had me stumped!!! It really takes a lot to stump me. Thanks for your videos. Safe travels.
I like watching your channel because you actually travel and aren’t trying to sell everything-Most of these TH-cam people aren’t doing 10 minutes of their 20 minute videos trying to sell stuff-I don’t watch many of them anymore or I fast forward through the commercial - We went from Tucson to Las Cruces on Easter Monday on interstate 10 -But we didn’t see you driving-I would have loved to see you rig in motion ⭐️☀️🌵🇺🇸
We may have driven through there ahead of you. Thanks for watching the channel...yeah, we don't plan on selling stuff or sponsors... just our life on the road.
My husband and I love your travel channel. We live south of Abilene Texas. We have lived several places from Dallas/Fort Worth to Odessa. We have been on all the roads that y’all take. We chuckle every time y’all go through Pecos and try to pronounce it.🤣 It pronounced Pay-Cus. Thank you for sharing your travels with all of us. 😊
Thanks for watching and helping with the pronunciation! 😆 🤣 We love Texas and used to live north of DFW near Highland Village. Appreciate your comments.
I'm a trucker, and I've spent most of the last decade based in central Texas. I have a few observations: The area of I-20 in western Texas where the oil fields are is the Permian Basin. And yes, white trucks are prevalent; they stay cooler in the Texas sun. I-20, exit 301 (in Clyde, TX) has a Whataburger... WITH TRUCK PARKING! I've eaten at that Whataburger you showed in Weatherford... at 3 AM, when there's room to get a rig into the shopping center parking lot. If you're looking to head east on I-30 from I-20, the best bet is to stay on I-20 through the Metroplex (DFW) past I-45, then take I-635 up to I-30. This will bypass a WHOLE LOT of traffic. That said, unless you're rolling through between 1AM-5AM, you're going to hit traffic. And I must say that I love your VNL 780.
I enjoy your company and your travels. I am a retired Brit who used to travel widely around the world, but was based in Santa Rosa, Ca., so it's great to revisit places that I've visited before and discover new places. I'm really jealous that you're going to Savannah - it's the classiest city in the USA. You must visit the theatre there. It's been beautifully renovated......and I had the privilege od seeing John Prine there. Keep on trucking. Thanks. Mike UK
I always enjoy watching TH-camr videos of RVers going through El Paso. I spent 10 years there when I was in the military so it always nice seeing it again.
Love hearing about viewers from NZ. We'd like to get down there one day. Thanks for the comments. We can't believe we're at 42K now. Glad you enjoy the channel and we're excited to have you along on the journey.

My husband and I live so close to Hot Springs, only a 30-minute drive. I would love to meet you two and learn more about full time living on the road. ❤ I really enjoy the videos and bad jokes 😅 !!!
That's a beautiful area, Patti. We are in Savannah and heading up to Gettysburg but it would be neat to meet up sometime and talk about fulltiming. Thank you for watching the channel. Oh... the bad jokes are a curse and will continue! 😆 🤣
Followed your channel for a while. We RV in a much smaller rig and can relate to your stories. We love seeing the places you visit and have some on our list to visit. Thanks for your weekly videos. Safe travels.
Love your videos. You are taking the same route we took a couple of months ago to Texas, we were in California pilot knob blm land , and we saw your rig come in and camp for a while.
Your fan falling reminds me of us around six years ago . We were heading west on 40 going to Az. In our MH . We was coming into OK. an you know how bad 40 is N I just happen to look up an our TV was falling out of the compartment just above our heads an our dog was laying in her bed right below the TV . I reached up while driving an held it till my other half could get the seat belt unhooked an stand up an grab the TV till I could get stopped. The TV would probably have hit my right side an then it would have landed on our dog if I had not saw it . The TV was a older style an really heavy but I changed it out after that . Thanks
Looking to see how you got out of the Walmart. I remember years ago on our way to FL. from ME. we stopped at a Walmart in Brunswick GA. on thanksgiving (the Walmart was closed) . The next day was Black Friday and the lot was FULL. I walked around to map my way out with 38 ft fifth wheel. Enjoy watching your travels. We stopped traveling two years ago. We have been in 49 states with the RV.
I just started watching your videos today. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE you guys. Sondra is so sweet and Dave... You make me laugh constantly. Again, you guys are AWESOME!! LOVE the truck and RV too😂❤
Congratulations on 42K subscribers! Boy this video is certainly relatable between the "I think we have enough fuel", "which route do we take" (as we are coming up to the deciding fork in the road), "how are we gonna get outa here" and of course the battling GPS! Makes the journey that much more of an adventure!
It's a nice drive and those fueling spots are very good. Better prices overall for that route. We find the T/A by I-20 and I-45 (south of DFW) has good pricing as well.
We travel with a German Shepherd and mixed breed. You aren’t sneaking up on us with our mixed breed. Being aware of your surroundings is always important regardless of where you are.

Beautiful blue bonnets and indian paint brush! Those always make me homesick. Safe travels.
Glad you like them! They are a very nice natural landscape feature. Thanks
Nice area. We've been there before but it's a little tight. It's a very different type of rig. Thanks for watching.
Similar rig, likely a different brand of semi. They were parked on the top part where all the huge ones were located.
Who wouldn’t love your content .
You know...I don't know!?! 🤣😂😎It's clean and corny!
Thank you. Yes, those improvements will happen in May.
@@bigtruckbigtravels you can also use electrical conduit to protect the lines.
Sondra, I'm with you on the extra box of Kleenex as the allergies are terrible, but we part ways on looking for snakes.
😂🤣😯Yeah...I'm not in there looking with her!
Would like to see more scenery when you are on the road. Love how happy you all are ❤
Thank you for the comments. We try to show a nice mix of pretty landscape we see during our travels. Appreciate your time watching the channel. 😃
Yes, steering rear axle and also preventing people from changing lanes and getting between escorts
Thank you. Man... they were close!
You are so welcome! I actually just found it on Google and called to ask permission. We had stayed at TSC before so I knew it was a possibility.
Thanks for sharing 😊😊😊
Appreciate your time watching.
I like watching your channel because you actually travel and aren’t trying to sell everything-Most of these TH-cam people aren’t doing 10 minutes of their 20 minute videos trying to sell stuff-I don’t watch many of them anymore or I fast forward through the commercial -
We went from Tucson to Las Cruces on Easter Monday on interstate 10 -But we didn’t see you driving-I would have loved to see you rig in motion ⭐️☀️🌵🇺🇸
We may have driven through there ahead of you. Thanks for watching the channel...yeah, we don't plan on selling stuff or sponsors... just our life on the road.
Just love you both
Thank you. That means a lot to us and we're excited to have you along on the journey. We're just getting started so glad you're with us.
Okay… you guys, and Tucker, too, are really cool. 😎 I love it!
Thanks 😄
We ❤ you fellows because you are real. You always speak the truth and are relatable.
Keep doing what you are doing.
( you have enough wHOEs 😂😂😂)
😆 🤣 Thanks. Really appreciate your comments.
Sondra that blue shirt looks great on you!! That color of blue is your color 🥰❤️
Thank you so much. Love the color blue!
I'm a trucker, and I've spent most of the last decade based in central Texas. I have a few observations:
The area of I-20 in western Texas where the oil fields are is the Permian Basin.
Thank you. Great tip on the Whataburger exit 301! We love our truck. Makes travel so much easier and safer.
A half a mile walk to the bathroom thank God you didn’t have a bad stomachache 😂🤣😂 run as fast as you can.
😆 🤣 yes. Thank goodness no Montezuma revenge!
Looking forward to next week! ❤❤❤❤
It's coming! Thanks for being there each week!
Oh my....what an excursion through the Lone Star State! Safe travels home you guys 👍🍔🤠
Thanks. It was quite the few days of travel! Glad we got to our next stop.
Thanks for taking us with you. Beautiful views.
Thanks for being there with us, Edward. We enjoy sharing.
I’m glad you guys show everything. Not just the good stuff. Safe travels
😆 🤣 Thanks. Just our life on the road. Good, bad, great or mediocre... that's us. Oh... and some bad Dad jokes too!
Thanks.
Mike
UK
Thank you very much. We appreciate your time watching the channel. Savannah is a very nice place for sure.
I always enjoy watching TH-camr videos of RVers going through El Paso. I spent 10 years there when I was in the military so it always nice seeing it again.
They have made a lot of improvements to the flow. We like driving through El Paso. Thanks
Enjoy to watch your episodes from Middle East from the Gulf Arabia
Thank you. Hope your weather is good at the Gulf of Arabia. Glad you enjoyed it and excited to have you along on the journey. 😊
I'm a fan of your channel from EL PASO TX 👍🙏
Thank you! Love Texas and enjoy driving thru your city!
Another great video - Thursday treat! You two are the best! The wildflower pics are amazing. Happy trails east!

Love hearing about viewers from NZ. We'd like to get down there one day. Thanks for the comments. We can't believe we're at 42K now. Glad you enjoy the channel and we're excited to have you along on the journey.
Loved the travels, I love boondocking so much more than an RV Park.
Thanks. Sometimes you've got to stay in an RV park but boondocking is always our preference.
Thanks, guys. I enjoyed the show.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching.
Love you both you are my favorite people to watch videos. It makes my day so this is making my morning. I didn’t watch it yesterday. Love you both and David is a hoot.

Congrats on hitting 40 K next milestone 75K then 100 K. Great stuff thanks for sharing.
Thanks 👍We couldn't believe we crossed 40K. Can we hit 100K? Not sure but with great people like everyone on this channel it will be a joy to try. Appreciate your support.
Great video, and the scenery is beautiful. Thanks for the ride. Love the wide open views.

It counts each week. Been an amazing journey and we're just getting started.
Hello guys, how you doing, hope you’re all doing well. Love watching your videos. Keep them coming? Just be careful and safe. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you so much, Tomasita! We're excited to have you along on the journey. 😊
My husband and I live so close to Hot Springs, only a 30-minute drive. I would love to meet you two and learn more about full time living on the road. ❤
I really enjoy the videos and bad jokes 😅 !!!
That's a beautiful area, Patti. We are in Savannah and heading up to Gettysburg but it would be neat to meet up sometime and talk about fulltiming. Thank you for watching the channel. Oh... the bad jokes are a curse and will continue! 😆 🤣
@@bigtruckbigtravels thank you glad to hear it. 🤪🤭
Followed your channel for a while. We RV in a much smaller rig and can relate to your stories. We love seeing the places you visit and have some on our list to visit. Thanks for your weekly videos. Safe travels.
Awesome! Thank you! We hope it's enjoyable and informative.
Love your videos. You are taking the same route we took a couple of months ago to Texas, we were in California pilot knob blm land , and we saw your rig come in and camp for a while.
Very cool! Such a small world! Hope you enjoyed your stay.
Most entertaining channel on the tube😊
Gee... thanks. We appreciate your comments.
Thanks
Oh boy, that was close. Good thing you noticed it!
Amigos, Congratulations for sharing your adventures with us, take care and we look forward to a long week to see each other again, saludos
Our pleasure! Thank you for watching!
Sweet. 49 states is cool. This coming week will show it all!
I just love the idea of pulling your house with you. I have a small travel trailer and I love it. 🥰
That is awesome! It's a very comfy lifestyle. Enjoy!
I just started watching your videos today. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE you guys. Sondra is so sweet and Dave... You make me laugh constantly. Again, you guys are AWESOME!! LOVE the truck and RV too😂❤
Thanks so much, Michelle. We really appreciate your time watching the channel and your comments.
Thank you! It seems like there are always small "things" which happen on a trip. It's good to know others experience the same.
Oh, no Quinlan! Should have just stopped by and had lunch with us you were so close.
Oh my! That sounds tasty!
My wife and I love your videos
Thank you very much.
I drive every couple of months from Dallas to Tucson and back. Love the drive and scenery. I usually fill up in Abilene, then El Paseo.
It's a nice drive and those fueling spots are very good. Better prices overall for that route. We find the T/A by I-20 and I-45 (south of DFW) has good pricing as well.
Hey from San Antonio
Love San Antonio. Thanks
