26:47 Some dead puns don't do well in the afterlife. 27:00 Other dead puns have a happy endings. Thank you again, David and Sondra, for my weekly entertainment. I have a vague sense of how demanding making these episodes can be, so I wish to reiterate how much I love watching them, especially those longies like today's 52er. Your efforts and adventures bring many like me loads of joy and vicarious travel, and with the holidays around the bend, I have some choice reruns on tap. Continued safe and happy travels.🙏🏾💙🤍❤️🍔🍗👍🏾
Hello Sondra and David I too love taking pictures especially old buildings so if you have never been a must see destination for you two would be Bodie, Ca . A special place for photography. We live on a cattle ranch just outside Yosemite National Park our family has been on this land 104 years.. Grandma and Grandpa were rangers in Yosemite in the 1940's to the 1970's and Grandma was best friends with Ansel Adams. Love watching your travels ❤
IM IN MY TRAVEL TRAILER 9 YRS. ON DEC. 4TH FULL TIMING AND WORKING. I TRAVEL 3 DIFFRENT WORK PROPERTIES A YR. ABOUT 3 -4 MONTHS AT A TIME EACH PROPERTY GETTING READY I JUST MOVED YESTURDAY.. READY FOR HUGE CYCLONE BOMB STORM. COMING THIS WEEKEND LOVE YOU GUYS
Next time you are in the Yuma area there is a million other things to do. Somerton Tamale Fest, Somerton Corn Fest and a billion other fests. Along with the Colorado River Baloon Fest, Midnight at the Oasis Car show, the Air show, and so much more.
We actually saw a fast food restaurant in the distance the other day and both of us commented at the same time, before we saw the sign, it’s a Whataburger! 😂
As far as ro win to merge into a lane when passing you two were a little off. 😊 At 78 years old , and decades of driving, the correct way to merge is to use your rear view mirror in cars/vehicles you can see through the back windows, it to see BOTH headlights and then merge. This gives plenty of space and especially with big trucks allows for comfort for them. #drivertraining101 😊
It's pin-ALL county. Emphasis on the second syllable. First syllable sounds like pin, as in "pin the tail on a donkey." I grew up in Arizona and I've also heard it pronounced pee-NAL, with NAL sounding like AL in Albert. 😄 BTW, I hate when we pull our trailer through a parking lot. All those curbs to avoid.
Funny when talking about the pump handles, here in New Zealand the diesel pump handke IS the black one, and the green is for 91 unleaded petrol. Also loved seeing a bit of El Paso, one of my best friends just moved from there
Hi David! Hi Sondra! Nothing like starting off the video with a David pun. 🤣 Love the Beetles shirt! Looks like Mickey and Minnie have a new friend in the back seat. Is it Paddington Bear? Yay for the campground escort and his Sondra approved hand signals! Pecan trees were cool. I've never seen one either. Ok, Mickey, sit on the seat and put your seat belt on, and Minnie is tired and taking a nap again. Lol. There are so many things out west that we don't have here on the east coast. 28° in New Mexico? I didn't think that happened. The ghost town looks awesome...love seeing historical stuff. You had that whole rest stop to yourself. Oops...looks like Paddington picked up Mickey's habit of sitting on the back rest. Lol. Look at David's spiffy lavender shirt! Whoa....that trailer! Ugh...cliffhanger! 🤣 Safe travels!
Southerners usually say pecan not pecon, but a lot of people say it that way. They will fall from trees when ready but will need to shake some limbs to get the last ones . Always enjoy your video. We don’t miss them.
Pecans originated in Mexico and central and eastern North America, therefore the way "southerners" pronounce "Pecan" is kind of irrelevant. Because I'm from Oklahoma, I know you're trying to say that "southerns" pronounce it Pee-can, but your explanation is lacking. Either way, the accepted pronunciation is Puh-kaan. "Southerners" are pronouncing it wrong. There are A LOT of words in the English language that are mispronounced by "southerners". Therefore Dave and Sondra's pronunciation of "Pecan" is not only just fine, it's also the universally accepted pronunciation.
We started the same time that you did and we also know a lot of people that are no longer traveling. We aren’t in an HDT but we are 42’ with a jeep in tow. We’d love to meet up with you some day.
My grandparents had a pecan orchard when I was young. They’d harvest them from the trees by using a long cane pole and knocking them out of the outer shells when ready and we’d pick them up off the ground and put them in mesh bags. I spent several seasons helping them remove the shells from the pecans which they’d then sell to local markets. Grandma made the best pecan pies at Thanksgiving 😋
Great video as always, just a little information for Sondra you can tell the difference between a Pecan tree and a Walnut tree and there nuts but the wood that,s comes from the tree after it,s process for flooring or furniture you can never tell the difference looks exactly the same !!
That was a really good one; scenery, interesting stops and repartee. We make the route from Phoenix, Las Cruces, NM, El Paso, on to Georgetown, TX. fairly often. The Park with the beautiful pool is great, and on down to Alpine & Big Bend National Park if one so desires. if you go toward the Austin, TX area, a drive east through the Hill Country is quite beautiful. Happy Trails. Oh, and the Roadrunner in Ft Stockton!
👋👋🫣🫣🫣🫣 It has been such fun getting to know you both and share in your travels. I appreciate your honesty about what it is really like being a “Full Timer”. It sounds like such a fun romantic lifestyle, which it is, but a lot of work too. Many lovely people have sold everything and taken to the road to explore. And sadly find it’s not what they thought, at all. So thanks for your honesty and sharing. Congratulations and here’s to year 10! All the very best 🎉 65,500 subscribers agree 😊
thank goodness I still have my home in a non snow warm area, and i can take my RV to travel, and I do and I get 14 mpg with my diesel instead of your 7mpg....I dont have to follow weather like these snow birds do, and I can afford both the full time aspect was intriguing for a minute and all these same like minded HDRV groups get together...I dont need any more groups and I have properties in other continents which I enjoy visiting...always enjoy your videos thank you!
With the construction in El Paso, I will take hwy 17 to 40 through Dallas down to New Orleans. I will assume the construction in San Antonio has not finished.
Hi from Yuma.. just F Y I ..i gave watched several of your videos boon docking and going to Los Algodones..there's RV and truck parking at the Casino when you get off the interstate to go into Algodones..actually they have a small ne RV park at the end of the road when you get to Algodones.. not sure how hard the parking would be for your big rig in there.. but plenty of room at the casino for you..and closer and safer than boon docking out there..enjoy your videos..
Well, just to give you another pronunciation of Pinal. The Pinal County in AZ is pronounced "Pin" + Al (as in a gentleman's name). The traffic unit in the Sherif's office in Pinal County has a great TH-cam channel as well. It speaks well of you that you did not know how to pronounce it as that means you did not get pulled over for speeding in the county😁
you two need to stay away from skinwalker ranch. them skinwalkers will get you i know them personally, told them you are ripe for needing a lil blood drained lol
It’s always fun to travel with ya’ll. Never disappoints. Thanks for allowing us to tag along. Have a happy Thanksgiving. safe travels. See you soon.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING YOU GUYS NEXT THURS.
Thank you, AnnaMay. Hope you have a great turkey day!
Lesson: navigation by feelings and word sounds can be successful!😁
😆 🤣 definitely! It's a new rule!

Loved the Ghost town. I should know the rule but stumped me on that one.
We'll talk about it next week. Just having fun. Thanks for watching 😆

It's a cool bird sculpture. Very unique.

Vlogs are good.
Travel Vlogs are better.
RV Travel Vlogs are premium.
Big Truck Big Travels RV Travel Vlogs are master class and absolutely necessary.
If I did travel, It would be to car shows with my 1970 Mach 1 Mustang.
Nice. Fastback was a great model.
Next time you are in the Yuma area there is a million other things to do. Somerton Tamale Fest, Somerton Corn Fest and a billion other fests. Along with the Colorado River Baloon Fest, Midnight at the Oasis Car show, the Air show, and so much more.

1st comment!!! Ghost towns, cemeteries, and bad jokes....oh my😆
You should be so proud of yourself. You can now die happy because your life is complete.🙄

This is correct! I grew up in southeast AZ, and this is how we pronounced it.
Fridays with Frank (TH-cam Channel) he a part of the Sheriffs depart in that area and the pronunciation he uses is as you say.
LOVE YOU GUYS

Our boys growing up did not think the car would start unless everyone had their seatbelt on and buckled.
😆 🤣 that's fantastic!

Your pronunciation of PECAN was spot on. 🙂 🙂 Love your videos.

Lived in Green Valley for a few years. I love the desert, but we had to move back to TX for family.

Loved the old Shakespeare Ghost Town with the old buildings, nice architecture. Lots of travel, thankfully lots of Whataburger places too 😁

David you will be happy for a whataburger
We have been at the same eastbound junstion for San Antonio or Dallas Fortworth many times...but have only yielded to the right once.
With the construction in El Paso, I will take hwy 17 to 40 through Dallas down to New Orleans. I will assume the construction in San Antonio has not finished.
25:13 $2.89 for diesel ....not bad, as you passed by I noticed the sign
Thank you all for another great video. Is really enjoyed watching pure adventures.

Your ending was strange!! Did the camera freeze up???
No... but the drone was hovering at the very end.

It's called Friday's with Frank I believe I watch him once in awhile from Florida.
When changing lanes and pulling in front of another vehicle, do you wait until you can see both of their headlights in the rearview mirror? I do.
Always check our Sideview mirrors and leave about 4 car lengths spacing.
Ahhh so you went to the dead center of town going past the cemetery
Ya’ll came back through El Paso, we missed you guys again 😢.
Some nice sites on your journey. Stay safe on your travels 😃
I nominate you guys Whatanambassadors.
What’s Up with Mickey and Mini? They are having an argument? Silent in the back seat!
Nice trip thank you sharing🎉
Awesome video ❤❤
Hey guys why no pics of the Chinese food????😢
Mainly respecting the privacy of our friends.
you left us hanging lol
Hi from Canada.Great video
Man don't leave us hanging like that what's the cardinal rule that you broke!!!!!
Not nice letting us hanging....😂
Ira Hayes came from the land of the Pima Indians down in Arizona land.
Nice. We don't know a lot about the area. But wanted to see friends.
I am from B.C., so please explain why whataburgers are so good that you stop for one whenever you can?
Beef is never frozen fresh vegetables and made to order
You have to have one to understand.
A Whataburger is actually seasoned different and in my opinion much better than most fast food burgers.
Need to add an air horn to your truck, gotta let people know their driving needs attention! 🇨🇦
The locals pronounce it (puh-nal) County.
So question are you ever planning to get to San Diego area at any time?
What speed do you run at when on the open road? What’s your normal speed when driving?
👍🇺🇸
Lol, nice try reading that Jeep. That ole thing doesn't have cameras, they just drive like crap :)
I would tell you how to properly pronounce Pinal County but I'm sure it's been addressed ad nauseam in the comments by now.😅
❤️❤️👍👍👍
No, they need to turn their head and look over their shoulder despite the mirrors and the cameras
you two need to stay away from skinwalker ranch. them skinwalkers will get you i know them personally, told them you are ripe for needing a lil blood drained lol
Was that bird a roadrunner
Yes
Pin-all county
2nd 🤣🤣🤣
😅I I LOVE AIR SHOWS. F18S 35S RAPTORS STEALTH
Now we're talking! Air shows are the bomb!
Shhhhh! don't tell anybody fairground and ag center parking. I travel with horses.
Resistance is futile... stop every time you see one!
4th 😂
"I'm going from Florida to Washington...what is there to see of and do." Absolutely nothing. Next question?
Yup, you shouldn’t have done it. 😂
Nope! But... we did! Gulp...
🎉🎉🤗🤗💕💕🇿🇦🇿🇦📽👍
Is it me or is this video jerky?
@@Beana10 Must be you 😁 (SORRY I couldn't resist)
Jerky? Nope, that is you.😅
