Also, pro tip - if you’re not sure if something is worth buying over the cheaper alternative, buy both and try them to see. All these companies have great return policies, so as long as you try them on in your house and wear clean socks you’ll be able to get your money back on either pair. True but its just slightly too common, just ordered me some axel arigato clean 90s coming from white new balance 550s. Had airforces as well prior for many years and they are hella reliable tho for sure.

Oxfords and Derbies are an essential for all men, you cannot go to a proper formal event or ocassion, such as a dinner, a funeral or an evening wedding in loafers!

@@YoungALH just because you have no standards doesn't mean it is appropriate, and just because it is a michelin star restaurant doesn't mean it is meant for formal occasions, there are casual restaurants with Michelin stars because the food is good while there are formal restaurant which may not have a michelin star but are meant for formal dinnera or meetings.

If you don't have slender feet, the KOIO Capri is better than all others, especially common projects. Toe box is more forgiving while still keeping a overall svelte silhouette. Love the video.

I have 3 pairs of aurelien suede loafers along with the cashwool ribbed polo and the quality I must say is excellent they’re my fav shoes
i tried their loafer. i didnt like it personally. not very comfortable. though to each their own. i think if for LP alternatives i would say scarosso or archibald are better

Good video, but I think it’s missing some boots. Especially Chelsea or work. Those are so versatile they look great, can be worn in the cold, and of course, dressed up or down.
I know it’s 2024, but we as men can do a lot better than loafers, especially for formal situations.
Personally, a big fan of the Thursday low premier. Surprised that you didn’t think highly of it. It’s really good quality structure and leather and of course it’s extremely affordable.

Honestly, save up to get a few pairs of John Lobb loafers, dress shoes, and boots. They'll last you for your entire life if you rotate them in between wears, and take care of them once in awhile.

I’ve ordered a few things from Aurelien. The loafer is a very good quality, I think better than my suit supply. A bit mixed feeling about my merino wool cardigan, as they need super special care.
If you want to buy shoes from massimo dutti, I think it’s worth to wait and buy for the next summer (or for late summer) - when discounted 50%, they are very worth the money.

I'd love to rock suede shoes, but sadly the climate is very unpredictable and a bad rainfall can kinda ruin the suede forever.

Yo Im trying to get some sandals for a beach trip soon, I'm looking at the Todd Snyder Nomad crossovers which are all suede. Should I be not wearing suede to the beach/pool? Or should I get something cheaper like some Birks or the Steve Maddens? I don't want to destroy them but I don't mind if they get some patina. I don't really get in the water. I just hate the way leather/rubber sandals look.
