Bonus Tip: After dropping the EMP on the module, if you go back into your ship, sit down in the cockpit and THEN trigger the bomb: The station does not go hostile.

You can also hack the security terminal inside the station before using the EMP to avoid the station getting hostile. You will have something around 15 minutes and can use multiple EMPs during that time.

Does it works with Missile EMP, shooting directly from the ship you are at?
I used this trick to get the blueprint for smart chips. Made a lot of money with that!

you can also fly around the modules looking for flashing data leaks that also gets you the blueprint and saves you a emp but you do require the research for that module type
That will not give you a blueprint 100% of the time, I just tried it in-game.
Do you need to scan them in the spacesuit, or ship scan is also fine? I currently don't have a plant what I want to build in mind, so I'm saving EMPs for when it matters, but I wouldn't mind getting random blueprints as a result of just wandering around the station. Yet, when I scan those red points in a ship, they still give commissions (wtf is this, btw?) or discounts or nothing at all...

Hi, off topic. You said in another video that when you have a battle with your ships and you`re not there it gets calculated but when you`re there it`s an actual battle. My question what if you are in the external view of another ship? Calculation or real shooting?
In order to see the external view, you need to be in the same sector. And that's what it's about: if you are in the sector, everything in it is calculated differently. There is "In Sector Combat" and "Out Of Sector Combat".

Hi Cap. I'm having a very hard time finding Secure Containers to make EMP and regular Bombs. I just started the Hatikvah plot and found the SAC factory for the mission, but not the Pirate Base and there were no EMPs nor Bombs for sale at the factory. So, now I can't progress with the mission without bombs. I'm in early game and the only Xenon area I've found so far swarms me with ships if I try to destroy them. Any tips/suggestions would be appreciated.
Enemies drop these when you destroy them, or you can try buying them from pirate bases (the trader renews when you leave the sector).
Try black market trader. He/appear if you take missions for delivering something when you fly around station in scanning mode (Shift+2). Mission looks like golden box with antelnnas and sparkles yellow and orange in scanning mode. Regular leakage looks like red ball in scannin mode. By the way regular leakage can give you a blueprint of module iven without EMP.
I am playing Kingdom End and I have used this way to try to unlock the station module, but I got nothing. I think they changed it in the newest update.
How do you move so easily with the spacesuite?! I always struggle to get speed and to break and it does not seem to react to my controls.
Also, the real issue for me is always getting the matterials for the EMP bombs. Any tips for that?
Johan Larsson i always work with "backspace" for full stop. And I use a controller ;)
To your second question: yes! The video is already scheduled for wednesday, so keep an eye out xD
In case anyone else has the same question, tab (boost) to get going and backspace (kill velocity) to stop. AWSD if you need to strafe, but the boost will haul a lot more ass than anything else.

I'm a newer player though, and I really don't look forward to having to repair standings with a faction from -30. I guess I could go do this from someone I don't plan to trade with, but I want either Argon, Teladi, or Terran stations. Cool method for a criminal playthrough though.
This -30 will cool off, as i understand. Not tested all this yet, new player also. )
Of course this is the easy part, this video completely omits the difficult part: how to get the Spacesuit EMP!

I don't use mods, but I have to admit that I just did that once and it was Dec 2018 😅 still playing my first run 👍

@@CaptainCollins I tried several times to do this on a wharf and a shipyard but it didn't work. After that i tried on a claytronics factory and a silicon refinery and there it worked. I have done all the reserch so thats not the problem.
@@emmanuelmatias4067 Wharfs and shipyards cannot be gotten in this way. Devs felt it was to endgame or something I guess.
@Captain Collins Is it possible to hack the TER XL and L Shipyard blueprints hacked? I've tried multiple times and it never gives me anything. Is there something that forces them to be purchased?
I think any build module is impossible to get through EMP hacking. The 5 categories you can research are all for different types of modules. Maybe if there are data leaks that already exist on the station, you can get a random blueprint hack. A lot of times these just result in station discounts. I've been looking for videos today of the same thing. Good luck! It'd be nice to save those hundreds of millions of credits!

how do you get EMP bombs?
You craft them at the workshop station that you find in "Traders Corner" next to the door (turn left when exiting the elevator)
Mining blueprint is 250,000,000 credits.

can U hack xenon modules ??
nah. xenon stuff is offlimits due to lore reasons. Their modules don't require people to work on them and as such would make no sense for a player to use as you would just have xenon ai machines working for them.

I would put the Information about the modules you can't get with EMP and scanning on the beginning of the video. Because even as a "Veteran" you might take a break or you just haven't done certain activities in the game for a bunch of time. So you forget certain stuff.
And nothing frustrates more by watching or reading a guide if the information you need is put somewhere in the end or somewhere in the middle of the video and there is no timestamp to it.
Other than that, this guide is very appreciated!
For the amount of time it takes to do all the research, go blow stations, etc., you can create a trading station and earn the billion and buy blueprints as you go.
Sigh....I hoped this will tell me I can hack the fabrication modules.....guess I'll just save until I can buy it

I'll never understand the Dev's obsession that I should play a criminal in this game. I'm still pretty new to the game about 200hours and on my Third restart, so maybe 20hours on that start, so Crystal Mining is still the most profitable thing I can do and every trip I get a great load of illegal crystals and hacking discs. If I wanted to play a criminal I'ld boot up Grand theft auto.

I do have a Question though, how as a new player can I play this game without using cheats; and without the Xen reducing the Galaxy to a collection of smoking ash! It seems to me Nothing the NPC factions have in the base game has any chance to stand up against an I Class; and a single I class could if it the Xen AI played more aggressively reduce the whole Galaxy to Ash in about 24hours game time. At the same time, I have yet to see anything that tells me the NPC Factions are anything but Helpless.

My first start the Xen placed a Def Station in Argon Prime, their Prime Sector the Argons through their entire fleet at it, the fleet was destroyed and then an I Class started 1 by one Blasting every Station in Argon Prime to Ash; and me, the Messiah to the Galaxy I'm about 10 Hours into my first game worth maybe 10Million Credits. And nothing I can remotely afford can touch that monster. Brilliant bit of Game Balance Devs. So I ask is it possible to play this game without Cheating.
Yeah the xeno was waaay too strong and the other factions shoot themselves in the foot too often before they got fixed lol
I thought I would earn 1 billion and not save 1 billion lol, make a video on how to earn 1 billion in 1 hour
I got my blueprints and money and everything from the cheat menu mod. Lol.

Why bother! you make so much money anyway, and need something to spend it on. so easy to just go buy the blueprints.
After hundreds of hours or when you're starting for the third time and know what you're doing and by building a shipyard... yes.
For a faster approach, go and steal blueprints
@@CaptainCollins I would sa it depends how you play the game. It's my first "playthrough" (waited till 4.0 to start) and I already spend quite a lot of hours. I would say I am in "Midgame" (did most of the research tree, I use destroyers and I build stations) but I barely even use the SINZA. And I did hacking, because I prefer to use the money for my ships or for new stations and not for the blue prints. And in some cases I bought the blue prints, because it was a pain in the a** to find the station with the module I needed.
But I can imagine that it's different as a content creator. Because you like to show something, you can't wait too long to have the money to buy it, just show your commumity some progress. So things need to move a bit faster for you.
