i feel like people could save thousands, if they spent a few hours stripping their car to save weight plus solid rims and tires
you are correct. look up scavenger1320 scat pack. His only mod is weight reduction and he runs 10s. His scat is around 3700lbs. BUT the mods and cam sound great, it's worth it.

I have the JLT cold air intake, JLT catch can, Stainless works long tube headers, MBRP catback exhaust, HPTuners tune, HHP stage 3 cam but I need to get a bigger throttle body and thermostat. I'm about to go catless once I get to my mechanic that does all my work on my widebody Charger scat pack 392. Good video and you're right about the driver. Mods don't matter if you're trash behind the wheel.

Your scat is definitely one of the fastest on TH-cam for sure have u ever done a 60-130 to see where you car is or a 1/4 gotta see what this beast puts up

My issue with the JLT was at idle. The temps skyrocketed when the car was not moving, reducing efficiency. I removed it and went back to stock, which resolved the issue. At speed, there was no issue.

Hey, thanks for sharing. Did you lose braking performance when you cammed the car? Also did you change torque converters with that camshaft or do they synergize well? Thanks! Youve been so helpful with my journey and my 392 300.
Thanks! And the only braking performance that was lost is when pulling up to a red light and hitting the brakes, and the car feels like it still wants to surge and go forward
I just recently started having transmission issues after 5 years of use and abuse from constant drag racing. Sent in my transmission to MMX for a rebuild and it’s coming back next week with a 1320 torque converter as well. Will do a new video once I have the car put back together and re-tuned

@@warmeds2009 if you’re doing light to light, your BEST mod would be a High Stall Torque Converter and E85 setup. It will alter your driveability, but from a dig you’d be an absolute monster

I raced an FBO 392 Charger similar to yours and I couldn't even win the dig race with AWD drive on my side. I raced one of them 1320 challengers at the strip and it wasn't even close! im a Nissan/Infiniti guy but even I know a lot people on TH-cam cap about the SRT platform. both of those Mopars I raced had carbon fiber hoods for weight reduction and Aero.
I have a 2021 Daytona 392 with slp exhaust, CAI, Ported Stock throttle body, throttle body spacer, oil catch can and I only run 93 octane and use mobile 1 0w-40 oil. I'm basically stock and I've raced 5 392 scatpacks and won every race convincingly; I want long tube headers and a cam because I really luv NA hemi engine sounds

Yo Airsoft! I have a 2018 Daytona 392, all I have done is a ported throttle body and straight piped all the way through lol. What are the mods you would get first in order!? Specifically for better overall performance for the daily driver!

Nittos 555r2 are my go-to tires. But if you want a simple setup, the new JLT CAI & Long Tube Headers with a custom tune is a good start
What type of E85 set up you have ? Think its my next move
To convert to E85, my research tells me it requires larger injectors and a tune. Was this your experience as well? What steps did you take to convert to E85?

I just got edelbrock intake manifold with 92mm hellcat TB what’s your view on it
I guess I should be asking you that question. Any before/after dyno? Did your 1/4 or 1/8 mile times improve? Did you race any stock Scats to see the difference?
I’ve always been under the impression the aftermarket intake mani only benefits us when boosted or in high RPMs requiring forged bottom end
@@AirsoftHemi I hadn’t got in yet but I have been doing research and this other person gain10-20 whp with it, I hadn’t got everything installed yet right now my build is JDA headers / Cold air intake (AFE) and Spacer (AFE) and 180 thermostat with a trans and engine tune and a cat-back exhaust, I’m going to get 92mm TB and Edelbrock and full cam kit which I heard this one can gain 169 HP plus performance radiator and I’m also getting ported heads installed in April which will be on a dyno

You aren't running a torque convereter with that cam??
At the time this video was filmed, no. Since then I bought a 1320 Torque Converter and a built HP70 transmission. Getting it tuned today. Will do a video down the road on the results

Should I first get all the mods needed then tune or should I tune it now ? At the moment I have an intake, oil catch can, have a 180 stat but since it’s not tuned it threw a code and I’m planning to get a throttle body next and I have mid muffler delete.
Although a tune is not “required” with a CAI & Throttle Body, you will be slower with those mods without a Tune because your Air/Fuel Ratio is altered too much. I know this because it happened to my car

I would recommend buying all your parts, get it installed and get the tune done all at once. Will save you a lot of time and trouble in the long run

Yes sir, just recently my transmission went out. That was due to 5 years of use and abuse. I take full responsibility for that
