Both are stunning, what talent! I adore Duchess as I am embracing the fall colours that captured in the speckled portion! Fun Summer Sock Camp, thanks again for hosting!
OMG! Kayla I just love watching all your socks you knit. I wanted to share with you that I have been using the 9” needles. I love using them. It was a challenge but I didn’t give up but it got easier and I’m hooked on using them. Thank you for sharing with us all your projects.
61 pairs of socks in 8 months is incredible! Thank you for showing them all, it is so lovely to see how the yarns knit up. I love the duchess colourway of yarn you showed. Have a great week.😊
So lovely!! You inspire me to knit faster so I can rediscover all of the lovely yarn in my stash! I love the cream with light speckles. Such pretty colors!
I totally adore the Dutchess colorway. And I will probably admire the yarn for a while and than knit a pair of socks for myself, which I don‘t do very often… 😃
Your never ending desire to knit socks amazes me and inspires me ❤😅. Both yarns are beautiful but the white with the speckles is perfect for a pair of pattern socks.😊😊
I can't believe summer sock camp is over already! It goes faster every year! Both of those yarns are gorgeous. I think I would pick the white one with the fall colors. It's perfect for Fall!
I wasn't expecting to participate in summer sock camp this year, but I totally get your obsession with knitting socks because I finished 3 pairs despite thinking that I only wanted to be knitting summery tops. 😂 The socks are always calling!! And the delphinium yarn is beautiful, I would love that color for some vanilla socks!
The purple yarn for the hat is pretty and there are so many knitting possibilities with the row one yarn minis. Duchess would make a great Musselburgh hat! I always do Summer Sock Camp and the Splash Pad Party during the Summer.
Hi the yarn looks so soft and beautiful i especially love the Delphinium . Your socks are perfect loving the hats too. Thank you for sharing your creations ❤
That yarn to give away is gorgeous. I like the delphinium. September yarnable is amazing. I stopped my subscription a while ago and want to start it back up every month after you show the month’s yarn lol
Wow 61 pairs of socks, I thought I was doing well for Summer Sock Camp with two socks. Although still learning new techniques with the different heels. Love your work, both yarns are stunning.
Both of the yarns are beautiful. Either would be a real treat. I can’t believe how many sock you have knit this year. I am knitting my first pair of socks holding 2 strands of fingering yarn. I am using up my kids and ends with a random grey from knitpicks. They are going to fast, and just in time with the cooler weather here in Canada.
Thank you so much for hosting summer sock camp. This was my first camp and I was able to slide in at the last minute with my sixth pair of socks. We were heading down dirt roads toward a hunt camp for dove season opening and visiting friends. I finished as we drove in the yard. Whew!! And yes. There was no service until we left that evening. Happy to hear you are up for SSC25. Thank you again. I love both your yarns. And of course socks are the project that comes to mind. Lavender ruffle socks for my now two grand daughters.
Got my day off to a terrific start with this new episode - you always cheer me up. I loved all your gorgeous yarns especially the Delphinium - I think it would be beautiful for a pair of socks. The Yarnable colorway is also especially gorgeous this month - I loved it!
Second year of summer sock camp for me. It’s really gotten me interested in knitting more socks for sure. It’s a lot of fun and the time seems to go so fast! I’d probably knit some fingerless gloves or a hat with the beautiful yarn give away. ❤
I love seeing all of your projects every week! I've been on a sock kick all year and have pumped out a bunch of pairs, but nowhere near 61! Those two skeins you showed are such pretty yarns and would both make beautiful socks!
So much lovely yarn out there. So little time to knit it all! The Delphinium yarn actually made my heart skip a beat, as did the Fall Yarnable subscription color. Had a subscription for Yarnable for a very long time and the yarn is consistently wonderful. Thanks for all you do!
Such beautiful socks. I have enjoyed seeing all the pairs you have stitched this summer. Those skeins are gorgeous and I love that kind of base. So squishy. I love following your vanilla socks patterns. So easy to memorize. Great fit too. ❤❤😊
I really liked both of the yarns, but the duchess one is right up my alley😍 I could just see a beautiful pair of socks made out of both though! I can’t wait for all the fall and Halloween knitting this month and next!
Every time I watch your podcast, I covet those star sock blockers. Always hoping I will stumble upon the same in an antique store, like you did. Your scrappy socks are lovely. I have used wooden clothespins for bags and many other things for years. Thank you for a great show.
I can believe summer sock camp is over already! Summer has gone by so fast. I am definitely ready for fall and fall knitting and crochet. I am planning on casting on a Musselburgh hat or a one-skein shawl. If I am the lucky winner of the giveaway I would definitely use the yarn for one of those.
What a beautiful job the dyer does. I would love the Delphinium. My son and his family just moved from Alaska to Minnesota. My 10 year old granddaughter would love the color. Everything is about Disney princesses. I would make her a Musselburgh. It would help keep her snuggly warm going to school on those freezing northern Midwest mornings.
Wow! That total of socks for this year is very impressive! Can’t believe Summer Sock Camp is all done again for the year. I have been participating for years and love joining in but never been lucky enough to win anything! Maybe next year. Haven’t really got a favourite yarn this episode and they were all gorgeous!
Those are gorgeous yarns. The light colour one makes me think of autumn leaving fluttering to the ground. I can imagine knitting either socks or maybe a hat from it
I look forward to watching your video every week. This was another great one. Loved all the beautiful yarn including the two yarns you showed for the giveaway. Both are beautiful but I would choose Delphinium because I am definitely a purple girl. Thanks again for another enjoyable video. Love from Texas. 🥰🇨🇱💜💜💜💜💜
Oh you knit so many pairs of socks.. i finished 9 pairs in summersockcamp, at a total of 13 this year so far. Between work, a toddler, sewing, caring for a sick relative and a garden, cooking dinner everyday and the house i just have so little time to knit. I really love the purple yarn.
Congratulations to all the winners and participants of Summer Sock Camp 🎉 great jobs! So many beautiful socks and yarn choices❤ I feel like lately yarn dryers make so many gorgeous purple shades yarn 💜 never knew I like purple color so much 😂😂😂
Thank you so much for organizing SSC. This was my first year knitting socks and I managed to finish 5 pairs (with 2 pairs still om my needles) 🙌 You can be sure that I'd love to knit a pair of socks in the Duchess colorway. Maybe in the Rhinebeck Roomies pattern 🥰
Good afternoon from Canada Kayla. Wow it blows my mind that you have knit 61 pairs of socks so far this year. I only wish I could knit that many pairs of socks in 5 years lol. Like I always say another great episode. I’m always happy when I see that you have posted a new episode. The yarn you received is much a wonderful gift. It never ceases to amaze me how generous the knitting community is. I love both of the colour ways. I would have to pick the Delphinium I’m a purple girl. I would definitely knit a pair of socks.
You are a sock machine! I almost finished my first pair during SSC this year. Learned so much! My grandson was born today, 3rd grand for us. If I won the yarn, I would choose the Autumn colors one and make him some socks, a musselburgh hat, a rattle toy and a blanket.
Love all your knitting!!! Enjoy this video each time you put one out. And that Duchess yarn is incredible. What a great regal Musselburgh hat that would be!!!!❤
I can’t believe summer sock camp is already finished too, but I had a lot of fun making socks this summer thanks to your KAL❤ Both yarns are so pretty but I could see myself making a single skein shawl with Duchess ❤Thank you for the opportunity!
Good program! You are always such a joy to watch. The delphinium yarn is beautiful. I can see that as a cowl or hat (and I recently purchased the Musselburgh pattern), The yarnable (I hink that's right) apple subscription box was stunning! Thanks for doing this program. It is such a treat when I am knitting.
First I would like say the “Duchess “ color is gorgeous!!!!❤❤. I wish I could have figured out how to post on “Summer Sock KAL”. I tried a few times but this was my first time joining a knit along. I did knit 2 pairs with one for my grandson, his first pair that he requested as a teenager. This just made my heart sing and he loves them!!! Happy Knitting, Kathy
Wow, you have a lot of finished objects! So fun to tag along with your makings, thanks for sharing! What a beautiful give away, I love the purple one. I would definitely knit a hat with that for a bit of color in wintertime.
That's a lot of socks for such a short time frame, Kayla! I was technically participating in Summer Sock Camp this year, I was knitting socks and everything, but I completely forgot to post the socks. I don't know what happened at all -.- But hey, I have beautiful, fun socks that got added to mine and the kids' sock drawers, so that's a win in itself, right? When you showed the Duchess colorway, the light one with the caramel speckles and green and... What a stunning skein! Have a great weekend!
I love hearing your monthly stats. It's very encouraging. The yarn from Fru Fjellman is so pretty. Duchess would be a beautiful Musselburgh hat and Delphinium would make gorgeous socks. Either would be fun to find in the mailbox.
SSC2024 was amazing! It was the first time I joined, and I've really enjoyed it. And those yarns.... Beautiful ❤️ If I was to win, I'll let you choose first and you could send me the other one. They are both so gorgeous, I cannot choose 😅.
I can't believe how many socks you are able to crank out! It's so great to have your comfort knitting project. I find I'm always jumping between projects and whether I prefer something simple or more complicated. That periwinkle yarn is GOEGEOUS!

Kayla, the way that you’re knitting socks you might have 100 pairs for the year! So fun watching your progress. The Duchess yarn would make a beautiful Musselborough.
WOW I am so happy to see Poppy & Spruce Fibers as the yarn dyer for RowOne!!! I ordered 3 skeins of yarn from her a few months ago and I absolutely love them!
