Eric, I just noticed something. Whenever I do a custom play book I write it out on a piece of paper so I can easily duplicate it. When I got the game I did this for the eagles play book. I could have sworn the at I saw the Shot gun Spread formation. Now, it 's no longer there.
I'm having troubles with my playbook also. My shotgun formation that I add aren't showing up when I go to look for them, I have to go to the quick, standard, shotgun pass options to find my plays.

For example, if they put 3 WR's on the field, choose Nickel formation. Does that still apply here? +David Banfield yeah you can. The matching personnel thing is something I recommend for beginners. This defense here will stand up against most formations in the game, provided that you only play zone coverage.

In Madden is cover 4 considered quarters? Because I hear a lot of coaches saying they like to run quarters but I don't see it in Madden. At least not in the Niners def playbook.
Love the tips. But here is where i disagree with you especially the offense. In the video you are playing practice mode without no blitz so of course you have time to make your reads. But it's a lot different when you constantly have a blitz coming and you have to get rid of the ball really fast or you don't have any time at all to throw. Do you make any adjustments in the coach adjustments?
the only problem i found in running this was the qb scramble. was playing squads w my boys and the other team had totw carr, the pass rush on this is pretty cheeks unless you rush one of those olb which tunes down the coverage. we put a dt in a spy and he was able to outrun him w carr, every pass was shut down it was just the qb scramble. we still got the W , but be aware if you go up against a qb that can move out the pocket and take it up some yards.
DT should work too if you put someone there who isn't molasses. A lot of DEs have ~80 speed/accel/agi and they can follow really fast QB outside even if you put them at DT. In MUT you can get faster than that. Click analog stick once QB is outside tackles and the spy rushes the passer to prevent QB setting feet. Best way to attack this kind of stuff is curl/flat (better, comeback/flat since it's 3 man rush) or floods with something from backside in case user jumps flood, but on offense you can't miss reads or it's disaster. WR screen can work if the DBs are off too but I don't like using those since the blocking is so erratic.
Mashirao same... I’ve noticed they are able to scramble and get good gains but after a couple hit stick the QB began to fumble and the guy stop scrambling lmao
High Low concept over the middle. Make the user choose one, throw the other. Or a post route should get behind the defense if he's quick enough and you have enough time.
Only thing I’ve seen with this. Is that if the DLine doesn’t get to the QB the receivers will eventually come back to the ball and the QB will toss it between the LBs and the DBs... any fix besides getting to the QB
+Braden McClennen make sure to crash the line out they get a better pass rush. If you're still not getting to the QB blitz the OLB opposite side the RB. That should help get more pressure.

I've had success with the smash (hitch / corners) , spacing, and flood. You need to give the flat too much to think about. If you notice there are only two defenders on the sides of the field. Put three players on that side at three different levels. It's tough to read but it's beatable especially if they want to run it the whole game. What makes this defense tough is when it it's run periodically and when you least expect it.
Keshawn Squire get a rb that can truck people and have a good o-line. I was in my super bowl last night against someone that used this and I got 270 rushing yards up the middle.
I would hardly call this unstoppable.. I’ve played against 3 guys in the last week running the same defense and I’ve went 2-1. If you have an idea of how to keep a defense on edge in Madden it’s not hard to gain yards consistently especially against someone running the same defense out of the same formation.
This D will soon get re configured by EA it's virtually unstoppable when ran correctly like pros do . It so hard to put a drive together !!! Impossible to gain yards on opponents if they are madden Vets !!!!
This is nice and all but I don't want to have to make 10 different adjustments on every play to stop my opponent. Its way too much of a hassle. Wish Madden would make it easier for us casual gamers.
A lot of screens get smoked using this even if you don’t user and if you see the linemen roll out immediately run for rb. Also this works a ton but does not work against I form slot flex. I use 335 and Tampa 2 to stop that formation.

To globally get Cloud Flats on the field, you must first shade down, and then shade back up. You do this by pressing Y or Triangle, and then down on the right stick. You then press Y or Triangle, and then up on the right stick immediately after.

Gotta check into it. For 3rd or 4th and 5-10 yds I really like the dime 1-6-4 I think cover 6 press. Seems to stop a lot of the short crossers.
