I started using these defensive tips, and you know what happened? My defense(Seattle) started intercepting more and more throws. I'm still lacking offensive skills, but step by step I'll get there. But 2 of 3 players hit "concede" when I intercept them more than 3 times, it's amazing. I'm not a good player, I'm not even close, but defense-wise I started standing out. Thank you again for the tips! It's helping a lot!
Hey if you can play defense, you'll be close in every game... you can win more often than not if you can get a pick 6 on defense and find a way to score once on offense without turning the ball over yourself.

My friends want to do the 3 man MUT team but our first match was against some maxed out team all with matching usernames XD didn't go well. This video helps immensely I can't wait to try out the QB contain tips. Seems like the QB always goes boonk gang on me and i got 3 guys standing still watching him get the first down especially Vick. @Ray thanks bro..there was a play some dude ran yesterday were it was a fake jet sweep and he kept throwing into the flats get 8yrds i did switch tampa 2 but i ddnt shade i played it to the outside thank for helping understand what shade under, over is compared to play overtop, underneath, outside BIG THUMBS UP

One thing im trying to figure out is how to switch players or switch to a specific player without having to press Circle on ps4 949383 times to get to the player you want to be usering.
Matt Murphy take the switch assist off and when you see run left or pass left hold that direction and tap circle. You may need to double tap you'll get a good feel for it.

Is it me or is it way harder against the computer plays seem to work different against users but seems the computer counters pretty good. I accutally lost a couple games this year and that never happens against the computer. I like it but was curious if seems that way to you also.
Chris Kessler the lag in Madden is a ongoing problem. One that I To often have I’m trying to fix it by running lan cables but it doesn’t connect for some reason so for now all I have is WiFi. But I won’t quit because of the lag just take my beating like a man and enjoy the craZy animations that only a 4 second lag came make lol.
Richard Lester ya I have a lan cable to mine. I lost a game over the weekend because my connection dropped, first time that has happened. The 3 games I won because of lost connection I was up at least 21 in the 2nd quarter
Eric I'm struggling against man defense. Every time no matter the team my guys don't get open and I get sacked in 4 seconds. When I try to run the same D the QB has all of the time in world to throw the ball and I get destroyed. Any ideas?
These are great tips they work but the problem is if your opponent is no huddle then snaps the ball really quick,you dont have time ti make all the nessacary adjustments
quick question? *why* don't the safties attack the ball on a run in cove 2 or 3 ? cause of play action ? is it cause the cb's aren't back there on play action ? I know you can hot route them to charge but why don't they charge like cover 4 stock ?
+ben ashworth because in a Cover 4, Safeties are "run first" defenders. They look to play the run before the pass. Just the principle of that coverage.
I’m new to Madden and i’m struggling defending against deep passes on ultimate team (i haven’t tried head to head with regular teams yet). My db’s can never keep with with the receivers. I’m not sure if it’s because my db’s are too slow but does anyone have any tips?
If you're getting beat deep, make sure you're putting your coverage over the top (triangle/y button, right stick up). If their receivers are faster than your corners, I wouldn't press your coverage, either. If you're playing cover 2 and getting beat deep middle, you need to put a linebacker in "middle third" coverage (select MLB, press x/a, then up on left stick).

+Brandon Merriman if they're running outside a lot more than inside, try switching to a cover 2 style run D. I have a video from about a month back. It has Kam Chancelor in the thumbnail that says Lock Up The Run.
TABOO380 I'm not great at D but I'm pretty sure the best strategy is to wait until the offense comes out in a play and then match their personnel with your formation. For example if they come out in 2 WR 2 TE 1 RB then you should come out in 3-4 or 4-3 since you will have two cornerbacks to match their 2 WR. 3-4 and 4-3 are also good at stopping the run and that is a heavy run set. Then if they come out in 3 WR 1 TE 1 RB you should come out in nickel or maybe even dime. That way you have at least 3 cornerbacks for their 3 WR.

eternalnectar hard flats if you're in zone and can't switch to Man in time but for me cover 1 works best to stop it

For me the best redzone D is 46 normal cover 2 invert. Even at the goal line, stops everything if you can user outside runs

ACE dives Beats this 3-4 Def especially Deuce Wham and just straight dives the line gets pancaked.

It's just something you have to practice getting faster at. It can be tough at times but the more you practice the better you'll get with this.

Kamran Tahir you playing zone or man? If your CB is in deep blue zone, don't press or show blitz. They get beat over the top easier
