It blows me away that you guys consistently do these songs better than the original artists, I’m sure you all make them proud!
Probably my favorite Chicks song in terms of story, melody, harmony and overall “push.” To say that F&F elevated it is understatement. I was moved by the whole idea from the start, but got goosebumps from Maggie’s first note to the point that tears came to my eyes. What warmth, depth, and respect for the tune. Chase and Sammie contributed exactly what few others could, and Sammie’s ownership of the high notes gets more positive with each performance. Don’t worry, guys, I loved your work, too. I’d better close before I run out of gushing superlatives.. EXCEPTIONAL work, Just exceptional.
This is a stunning performance because every element, once again, is perfect! The musicianship is astonishing enough and Maggie's voice is so pure and warm...and then...and then... along come those famous harmonies that simply bring tears to your eyes. There is no other group that does that. You are all so wonderful and we mere watchers are blessed every time you perform. Now, excuse me, I need to play it again. And again.

Tim Purcell is a master at assembling terrific talent. And he has the benefit of the foxes on fantastic vocals. But boy, is the fiddling and mandolin playing magnificent! Face it, all the musicians are pros. I keep waiting to be disappointed. So Dumb. Not going to happen.

I have loved watching these fine people do their thing and do it so well. What a gift it is to sit back and enjoy it.
There is nothing more fun than singing with a group of people you actually want to be with. This really comes across with everything this group does and is something very rare in the music industry. Their music is also second to none. Beautiful!!!!

Wow...just Wow. Everyone did an amazing job on this one. Maggie you did awesome! Sammie and Chase, perfect harmonies and all you Fossils and honorary Fossils did a fantastic job. The fiddle, mandolin and banjo just made it even more perfect. Thank you everyone!!!
You can't say enough about how excellent this performance and production are on every level. The musicianship and craftsmanship are perfection. This band has no ceiling only what it wants to play.
The brother of our beloved but deceased F & F bassist playing in his place, Honorary F & F member playing keyboards and mandolin, then the sound man turns out to be a very capable violinist??? Umm... where's the slippage? WHERE are the cracks in the smooth sounds and lyrics of F & F? I'm sitting here NOT teary eyed at the listening pleasure of near perfection... Thank you all F & F members for the experiences and love you have spread worldwide with your music and personalities!!! and for the record, I'm NOT crying ... (lol!)
Keyboardist Greg Scohier is also "musical family" played for the Mustangs for several years and currently in at least 2 local bands with John Pike. Love that he can play banjo on the keyboards.
Those harmonies are so tight and absolutely beautiful.

There is something hauntingly melancholic about the folk violin.
That song has never been performed better. And I don’t believe it ever could. When those three girls join voices they create some kind of magic. I have to have a dose F&F every day!

Maggie on lead being backed up by exceptional harmonies and fossilized tunes...perfect! That mandolin and fiddle at the end were beautiful.
VERY well done. One of my favorite songs. It was written by Dixie Chicks banjo player Emily Robinson about her (then) husband Charlie Robinson (another of my favorite artists) who recently passed away. RIP Charlie.
I keep lookin' for that "Love" button to mash. Alas, there's only a "Like" button. Whenever I think that F&F have reached their best, they outdo themselves. From the opening note, everything about this rendition is as good as it gets. Brian's mandolin, Doug's violin, Greg's faux banjo, Maggie's solo vocals, Sammie, Chace and Maggie's harmonies, and, of course, Tim's keyboard, Toby and Darwin's guitar, as well as Johnny's percussion and Ross' Bass. Bravo y'all!

I have known Doug Godbold all his life. He has always been amazing. He Grew up as a kid cutting grass and by the time he graduated HS, built it into a huge business with multiple kids working for him.
He did play Violin, so when the church promoted an orchestra, Doug was usually first or second chair. But Doug’s love was Sound equipment and he became the #1 audio engineer for God’s Light Youth Choir (Maggie and Sammie members as well) as we traveled all over the US and Canada.
He then went to college to learn sound engineering in a professional way. Got married. Then decided to become a lawyer. I am so proud of him, but I have to say, I was amazed at his playing fiddle on this song. Fantastic!!!
And oh! I have seen him smile before 😂

An extraordinary performance by one of the greatest cover band’s- what amazing talent in one group. With superb harmonies and a great supporting cast their cover of this Dixie Chicks song is absolutely perfect! A special kudos to Tim for this top shelf production- you are the glue that puts all the elements together- the finished product is always polished and very professional. Great job!
Love Maggie's voice. She reminds me so much of Linda Ronstadt. Not quite the range, but the richness of her sound.

I've observed over the years how Maggie's voice is so honeyed on many songs - with Sammie providing fire harmony. Chase fills so much richness in three-part (or 4 or 5 part). The talented instrumental new players are super!
Sounds familiar. A roadie once wrote a piano intro to the signature song of band he worked for, but they had no keyboardist. He surprised them all with his secret composition, & played it for the band. "Who Knew"? The piano player was Billy Powell, who Ronnie Van Zant immediately hired to join Lynyrd Skynyrd & added his intro to their finishing tune, "Freebird". They "played it pretty for Atlanta", and the rest is history.
Never heard that song before tonight and now its a F&F classic! Loved all the contributions from the honorary Fossils!

And, as a fan, I'm thrilled that you came up with the feel of Scott but with your own 'signature'. I found F&F in 2012. I immediately gravitated to Scott, being a bassist myself. On that sliding scale of 1-10, Scott deserves a 12 for Suite Judy Blue Eyes!
Being from Woodstock, Illinois, I couldn't make the Reunion Concert. I've been catching the videos as they pop up. You sang on the Weight! Bass players DON'T Sing--NOT! I so want to meet the band. I've been at "it" for over 60 years. in the '70s, I was a go-to bassist, playing with the stream of folkies who passed through the Earl of Old Town.

These guys are so good. Had the opportunity to see them live in Atlanta last December. They are not capable of doing anything less than perfect.
