I never tire of this group perform, sing and play their music, does anyone else feel the same way?

I've been a sound engineer for over 40 years. That was one of the best mixes I have ever heard. Each individual trac was clear and distinct. I've heard and watched songs mixed in million dollar + studio's that didn't blend together that smoothly.
The singers know how blend thereby making the engineers job easy.

When you take on a CSN song you better have the harmonies together. They did. Amazing job.

The harmonies are ridiculous. Better than anything you can find in popular music today. The mix is flawless.

I always enjoy Darwin's lead vocals. What really makes this performance smokin hot is when everyone else kicks in with the awesome harmonies. The instrumentals put the whole experience over the top! I never cease to be amazed by the talents of every F & F member and how perfectly you all combine!

See I felt the opposite. I knew they would nail it. I knew Darwin would cover Stephen Stills, and Tim and the girls could be Crosby, and Nash. This, and Carry On are my favorites by CSN. I knew this would be perfection.

Everything CS&N did was a collaborative effort. Its was never the same if one of them was missing. Theres no taking away from Stills musical brilliance but he needed Crosby.

@@stephenbuck8086Crosby was missing from this song. Art Garfunkel stood in on this one. Crosby was dealing with drug and legal issues and rejoined the group later on in the production of this album.
I always have loved Darwin's unique voice, very folksy like Gordon lightfoot. Your band is something of a miracle, to bring together so many completely different sounds and styles of vocals, and still come up with such unity. A lot of people appreciate what you are doing, especially after listening to modern r and b or pop.
I totally agree with the Gordon Lightfoot vibe he has going on here.

I’m 63 and learning. I am humbled.
This is the CSN song that turned me on to F&F's. In early 2018 I was listening to the CSN version and F&F's Suite Judy Blues Eyes showed up in my recommended list. Not particulary fond of covers, I decided to give it a listen and was immediately blown away with the harmonies and Darwin's and Scott's guitar playing. Needless to say I ended up going down a rabbit hole, went to Tim's channel, listened to the rest of the songs that he had posted and subscribed to the channel. Later I went to the website to order the 2 CD's and the DVD. At the time the DVD was out-of-stock so I waited until it was available again and placed my order. I received my confirmation and a note on the website said Tim was on a cruise and the order would be fulfilled when Tim returned.. Listening to the CD's and watching the DVD I was not disappointed, except for the fact they were not performing anymore. I was pleasantly surprised when Chase, Sammie and Maggie put out the "What Song Will They Cover Next" video in April 2019. Now if they just overcome all the obstacles and do a live performance.

Excellent. A "winner" indeed. A song about a man losing his wife, losing his sailboat and gaining the beauty and forgiveness of the Lord that we all need to gain. Beautiful song.
I'm going to go work today, play golf this afternoon, come home this evening, mix a drink ,put on my headphones and feel the comfort of Foxes and Fossils singing a song that I have listened to a thousand times. This is a good day.

You all sent me back to my best years in the early 70s while in the Navy. I’m 75 now and still loving all this. Thank you for doing this song and putting life into those great songs. You all did CSN justice. God bless.

The immense beauty of this song surpasses almost all others: the lyrics soar, and each verse is fresh. The sea/life allegory is truth, and the melody and phrasing just wrings emotion from my soul. What a priviledge to be able to master such a treasure.
Really good. This is one of my all-time favorite songs and while I don't think anyone can sing it quite like Stills, I really like this rendition. Nicely done.

This song, "Early Morning Rain," and "Peace Train" are are some of my very favorite F&F performances. I come back to them time and time again. I'm so grateful to Darwin for sharing his beautiful guitar skills and brilliant vocals.

Based on a Graham Nash interview, I believe that CSN/CSNY prided themselves on their great harmonies. Almost any of their songs is great fodder for another F & F smash cover. Finding Foxes and F0ssils was the best thing to ift us out of the pandemic doldrums. I could listen all day - and have.
Almost anything involving Graham Nash features great harmonies whether with Stephen Stills, Dave Crosby and (sometimes) Neil Young or with Alan Clarke and Tony Hicks of The Hollies

@@g8ymw So true! Saw an interview with Nash a couple of years ago where he told a story about getting together with Crosby and Stills. He was at a Hollywood party and Crosby and Stills were doing some impromptu singing; Nash joined in, harmonizing with them. Supposedly, he had them sing the same song two more times so that he could find his "sweet spot" with them. The rest is history.

How do they continue to capture the essence of every song they cover?
I would say it's attention to detail and then getting "into" the story that the song is telling. Example- Sammie loves musical theater, she says when she sings she's playing the role of the person in the song.

@@janicemartin2016 The studio recording of Southern Cross was sung by Stills, Nash, Garfunkel, Schmidt (bass and backing vocals) and Finnegan (keyboards and backing vocals) as Crosby (drug and legal problems) rejoined the group later in the production of that album .
