Thanks Chris
I am 72 years old and I am partially disabled so I don’t get out in nature as much as I used to. I not only enjoy the stories I enjoy the scenery. In my imagination I can almost smell the trees . It really gives me lift. So thank you for what you do.
Me too 75
Shooot y’all should link up do some camping, hiking, walking or anything really. Got a wingman now the ladies be in trouble or hell even a nice picnic in the mountain area. You are still breathing get out that dang house, don’t wait for the next chapter, make it find you and exhaust it as it does.
Hi, you need to keep on doing some light walks, sit in your yar, plant some vegetables etc. I too am very disabled, however I still raise most 90% of what me and my husband eat. I am 75 and I am not ready to roll over and die yet.
@@jessiesalisbury7044 Thanks a lot. Was out in my yard this afternoon in the sun for while with my new pup a nine month Jack Russell. I usually try and get him out for a short walk at least twice a day. Hopefully as he gets a bit older We can manage longer walks like I did with my old girl who passed in December. Best regards,
Eric.
Me too exactly 😊
I would NEVER send just one person on ANY remote worksite.
It's just too dangerous.
Forget about the unknown - what about the known, like accidents and vehicles breaking down. .
That's just irresponsible management.
Great story, Chris -
It's one of your best! 🫠
Also, I was happy to hear about
the 'higher-ups' changing their workforce numbers! 😉
And did they arm themselves at all especially after he found the torn off door? Crazy!
@@patroberts5449 I would be armed, period. Company policy regarding armaments doesn't concern me in the least.
You have no idea how much they pay techs to do the servicing of remote sites.😮
@@MadelineRose-ep7fj It sounds like a difficult job so I sure hope they compensate them well! For what I pay in cable they should😜
Does anyone else continually watch the woods behind Chris as he tells stories?
Always. It’s the first thing I look for 😳
what of the understory directly behind him > between the trees/beneath his pack?
Yes especially when it's dusk
Yassss
Good idea! One never knows who or what could creep up on him!
Yes! We would love to see you camping, cooking, and telling your stories while sitting in front of the fire! Just make sure you pick a safe area with no Bigfoot around! 😁
Three of my favorite things, the outdoors, good beer, and great stories. Thanks Chris!
Very Welcome C🌲🌲
Imagine being INSIDE the building when the door was ripped off 😳 Scary stuff lol
I bet my boss and I would have a conversation like this...
Worker: boss, the door has been ripped off the hinges.
Boss: I'm gonna need you to stay inside the complex tonight.
Worker: ok. and do what?
Boss: wait for a repair man to come up tomorrow.
Worker: and do what until then?
Boss: catch up on paper work. Watch movies. Have you seen The Thing ?
Worker: F You. I'm coming back now.
If I saw door ripped off. I be out of there
Me too!
Ok now I would GO FULL THROTTLE after I saw the truck and trailer
No doubt
If a metal door was ripped off its hinges, I would be very afraid. There's an apex predator in the area.
....and I would be strongly contemplating a change in jobs.😅
WOW!!!! TOTALLY FREAKING WOW!!! Great story Chris!! YES!! Chris more stories and camping!! You make my Sundays!!
Me to!!
I love his videos! They are great ❤
Thank you so much!!C
Imagine the amount of strength this would take to cause this much damage.
🤔........ Yes, a lot.
We have a lot of black bears around where I live. Right on skirts of Ocala national forest Florida. They can rip pieces off your vehicles, tear right Through the toughest chain link fences or just push them down flat with their weight, etc… a mama bear once walked into our garage and opened the freezer and took the meat while her babies waited behind trees in our yard. My husband opened kitchen door for go into garage for a beer and came face to face with her😅
YES, please!! More overnight camping adventures along with your stories!!
😂😅😊😊😊
@@bold810
Yes, I agree...
But, PLEASE - DON'T GO ALONE
😬 😵💫 😵
Yes love the overnight camping, and spooky campfire stories 👏
Dang. I used to audit cell sites years ago. On numerous occasions, I had to drive up to mountain tops and through forest roads to isolated sites in the PNW. My biggest concern back then was what would I do if there was a small earthquake that made a tree fall across the road, blocking me in, or if there was an unexpected snow storm limiting my travel. Honestly, I didn't notice and start paying attention to Bigfoot stories until Expedition Big Foot aired on tv a few years ago. I'm just so grateful I never encountered one while up in the wilderness!
The worst I encountered was a creepy guy in a truck getting ready to back up towards me, but I jumped in my vehicle and high tailed it out of there.
Sounds like my kind of job!! I'd love to do that.
that was Chris, lookin for somewhere to camp 😂
Don't be so sure that you didn't LOL there seems to be a very big propensity of men to minimize odd happenings and try and turn it into something normal LOL... all of us are prone to try and explain away things that make us nervous though
Man, I'll bet your grandkids love your bedtime stories!
Yup, sounds good to me .. camping, cooking, different locations, and creepy longer stories ..
l truly can’t wait for Sundays to hear stories from Chris ..
Chris, I know exactly where this is at. The same mountain (Abajo or Blue Mountain) that we found similar tracks on back in 1975. I can tell by the photo of the desert valley below. I took a similar photo of that area just last weekend. I sent you the story and photo of the tracks we found a couple of years ago. What happened with these guys is just crazy and I believe it!
Chris, you are the Man, Love your stories, the first time I heard about bigfoot was in 1973 from a friend, and believed Him, Chris stay God bless❤
Same Here!! I begged my parents to let me have my friends come with me for my birthday to see The Legend of Boggy Creek at the theater. Just my dad took the four of us and I doubt that he enjoyed it much 😁 I just recently found it on dvd at the flea market and I Had to buy it. It was pretty unwatchable 😜
I’m guessing that was around ‘73?
Yes! Definitely camp and have longer videos. We always look forward to watching your videos. 😊
Sounds like a cool job. Out in the wilderness and a snow cat.
Yes, camping, cooking, and bigfoot stories! My favorite!
Ok ! This story had me on pins & needles ! Loved it & you do a fantastic job retelling all these encounters people send in ! I personally would love longer videos with stories , camping & cooking & the hikes in & out ! This really made my night Chris ! Thank you so much ! Keep hiking !❤
I worked in the telecom industry in western Montana during the mid to late 90's. A couple times I had to go out on call with the bucket truck early in the AM for service outages. A few times out in the woods I could swear I was being watched and heard wood knocks. I got to work on microwave wave guides and satelite equipment at some very remote sites.
Wood knocks I’d be spooked. Since supposedly big foot can eat big live stock ! 😮😮😮
Another great story. I can't imagine just how strong they are. Incredible. I'm ready to watch anything you want to produce. These creatures have always fascinated me.
First thing I thought is Why do they send only 1 person out to these remote, dangerous places!?! You never know what could happen!
Love your great spooky storytelling! Ive done alot of tent camping back in my day here in Idaho, but always with my husband, then our 2 kids. Great times! Keep it up
Good grief, you tell a great story. You get me so spooked I dont blink sometimes. Love it.
I can say I've been to that four corners. There's a marker in the ground to mark where the four states meet. You can visit 4 states in less than 10 seconds .
But there is no mountain there. It is flat. Been there also.
10 seconds? If you lay down, you would be touching all four states, at the same time! They all come to a point.
If someone built a house there, I wonder what their address would be??
Your stories and narrations are always a lot of fun to listen to.
Imagine if someone had been INSIDE the building when the door was ripped off 😳 Scary stuff lol
Walk in there and see a family of Bigfoots 😂😊
I laughed so hard about the door being tossed...I got my endorphins rolling. Feels great . Thank you for a fantastic chuckle.
Loved this story so much Chris ... remote tech working in remote mountain Antennae base location .. strange goings on with the door wrenched off its hinges ... strange tracks in the snow ... spooky stuff glad they all got out ok ...would make a great film ! I think the Sasquatch don't like the frequencies ...they know something we haven't picked up on yet ... they really didn't want those guys fixing it !! Great to hear your back camping go for it the areas you are look amazing !! Best wishes from sunny Wales UK =)
More camping would be great, but don't forget the STORIES! Love them!
Yes take us camping , cook salmon, salad stories at night in tent . Hope had a good day we all waited patiently . its a treat❤🤠🦅🌻🦍🐿️
Sounds great!🐻🥾👍🌲
Yes hour long shows would be awesome.
Yeah camping and cooking videos are cool too - I love long form content and you're fun to hang out with - congrats on the sponsor 🎉
like the longer stories, and when your camping. Great channel!!
Great story telling as always, I love hering about people's encounters with bigfoot.
HEARING!
@@user-nr8mo5dh8l ah, thanks, I didn't notice I missed a letter.
Yes!! Chris, do your camping, show your skills, little tips and tricks as we will begin to feel like we are right along there camping with you. If you fish, take us fishing,if you clean and cook your fish, do that too! And as you build that evening campfire, then we can all sit there at the campfire with you as you share a spooky or exciting encounter story of the things that go bump in the night or the beings that make themselves blatantly obvious to people from time to time!
IMO the microwave transmitter was just too close to the Bigfoot's dwelling place, likely a cave... so the microwave transmissions were likely an irritation to him, perhaps interrupting his afternoon naps?
So, he did what any self respecting BF would do... go take care of business! lol
Hey, a Bigfoots gotta do what a Bigfoots gotta do! ;)
Hey Chris. New subscriber here of about 2 weeks and I’ve been listening to your storytelling on a daily basis. I think I’m addicted to your channel! I’ve been giving thumbs ups as I go through each story.
More camping videos would be AWESOME!!!
Coming soon!🌲
Hey Chris, Chris here.
I mentioned before that your long edition hikes with the camping for the night and cooking are awesome! That includes the winter camp from your home in the blizzard and the top of Sierra Nevada mtn at night in the storm, and even that cool pop up camper with that coleman lantern!
I think that's where I got the idea to buy my own a year or 2 ago.
Your shorter videos about scary stories beer hikes are staples, as well as stories from your "mancave" cabin.
But I think those longer overnight expeditions are more exciting & adventurous, and we get to "hang out" with you more.
Hey Chris, its Chris.
Cheers! 🍻
From a Utahn, great story. More stories like this need telling.
That is Navajo mountain. Elevation over 10,000 feet. The building where the equipment is at is called shelter.
Beautiful scenery up there .
Yep more camping Chris.Love it!!!
I am an old granny sitting knitting in the UK I love your stories Chris you national parks are amazing ,we have a lot of beautiful parks but much smaller but no bigfoot here.
Bigfoot good for scary story.
What a terrifying story, Chris! I was so relieved when all three of them were in the truck on the way down! Thanks!
Wow this is a good one chris, Thanks so much.
And keep hiking as much as you can OLE Guy.
And look forward to seeing you again next sunday. Love to see you back in the woods. Take care and god bless you all.❤❤❤
Wow a menacing and vandalizing bigfoot, that had a habit of following the tech(s). Glad to hear they didn't have to work solo anymore! Thank you Base Camp Chris for this ominous feeling story.
Yes, I would love to see your camping adventures along with the stories. Those of us who can't, we camp vicariously through you and we love it!
So glad you have some sponsors, Chris! Love your channel!
Glad to see a new episode - it means Base Camp mader another night 😅🏕️💚
Longer videos? Absolutely!!! 😊
We're with you Bro
I love your overnight camping videos. I think it really adds to the mysterious atmosphere and makes me feel like I'm there listening to the spooky story around the campfire late at night.
Yes back to what you did before .. setting up camp , sharing the scary tales , cooking , morning coffee , beer etc etc
Yeah, do all that kind of stuff: camping and cooking and over-nighters in your truck or whatever! I love your story times! You are the quintessential storyteller on TH-cam.
Yes, I would like to see you camping in various wilderness areas and telling stories about cryptids. Love your channel.
I was actually wandering why you hadn't done any camping/story telling videos for a while. I would enjoy seeing them.
Yes!
You paint such a wonderful picture, Chris.
They should have always two employees go together to such a remote place.
Yes would love to see the longer videos. We just love listening to your great story telling Chris. Also, prayers for the folks in Jasper who were affected by the devastating wildfire. It is one of our favorite places to go and experience the breathtaking beauty of the mountains.
Yes I'd like to see your over nighters with your different tents you have and cooking out in the morning
After “Missing 411” I will never venture into the forest or woods. I will watch on the internet. Stay safe be careful out there especially alone.
Right!!😂😂😂 we've been lied too for a very long time.. watch on youtube "man walked with dinosaurs proof".. find you a good documentary and you'll start to see all the lies.. they've created a false reality.. control.. people called dinosaur's dragon's before 1840.. a woman some year's ago found dna tissue on a T-Rex thighbone which shouldn't exist millions and billions of year's! They never tested for it because they were supposedly billions of years old.. it took them some year's to come up with some bs excuse to try and explain it away.. since then more has been found. sea shells on tops of some of the largest mountains.. trees found standing up through millions of year's of geo columns and also upside down.
I go into the woods sort of alone. I'm always packin a gun. It's great company!!
Don;t be scared, be Prepared. There's a lot of good equipment now days to keep you safe if you know how to use it. Most of all, be aware of your surroundings and keep a sound mind!
And EVERYONE should carry a personal locator beacon. Your gear isn't complete without one!
@@michaelyunkelo1757I live in the woods in Canada alone as a woman.Donr even own a gun because I'm not an American scared of my own shadow.🤣
Yes, I'd love to hear some stories around the campfire where you cook up some vittles
Yes, more camping and stories together. That's the best combo. I absolutely love longer videos like that!!!!
You have a great way of getting people’s accounts of what they experienced across extremely well Chris.
Yes could you do some overnight camping , cooking and story telling while it is summer and better weather … that would be awesome 😊👍
Hi Chris!!! 😊 Hope all is well for ya Safe Travels & Keep Hiking 🙏🏻😊❤️
Enjoy the stories either way. Thanks for sharing them.
Would love the on-locaton camping stories! Organize a trip to take us along, like a small group of 6 or 8!!!

Wow! Well at least the guy was not ridiculed about what he saw and the damage to the door was freakish but going back to the trailer and seeing that all messed up would freak anyone out. Glad that there is the new ruling about going out in pairs. I guess BG was having a bad hair day and taking it out on the door and trailer. Yes camping video with the stories!!
Love your storytelling, camping and cooking!
