Glad you enjoyed it!! Keep Hiking! Chris ( and TIM! ) 🌲🐻🐻🌲

Right?! What a beautiful place.
✊
Looks like great fun!
@bigfoot-5150 great fun until Bigfoot shows up, that is, lol.
Love your screen name. May I ask what Bigfoot channels you're subscribed to??? Just curious. Thanks
@@markwells8631 This one, Bigfoot Terror in the Woods, and Bigfoot Project
Great story. My uncle was a ranger in the North Cascades and had a similar story about teenagers camping and having something very big come through their camp scaring the heck out of them.
This is what this channel is all about. A story, cooking, camping and fishing. You finished off my Sunday perfectly, Chris!
Glad to hear it! THANKS Austin!! C ...KH!🌲🍌👌👀
I wish I have a best friend who I can go camping, hiking and fishing with. Chris is lucky to have a close friend like that.
Good friends are hard to find. Chris is lucky to have someone to go camping and fishing with. Most of my friends are toxic. I had to get rid of all of them. So I can be happy again.
My husband and I have heard that sound. We were deep in the Uinta mountains of Utah on an ATV. We'd traveled about 30 miles up hill from our wilderness camp to the mountain's crest. It was getting dark. Unfortunately, we hadn't paid attention to the time, and we were going to have to travel back mostly in the dark. We stopped to put our jackets on before heading back down when we heard it. To me, it sounded like a fog horn that suddenly went sharp and high at the end. I was raised in the SF Bay area, so that's the first thing that came to my mind. For certain, I would have thought it sounded like the alarm in your hometown if I had grown up there. It was so close, loud, and powerful that we were terrified. We jumped on the ATV and sped down the mountain to our camp dangerously fast in the dark. We couldn't tell if it was following us or not because my husband was gunning the ATV to top speed, and it was loud. I will never forget that sound.
What a beautiful spot to camp and enjoy great company. There's nothing better than an old friend 😊 KEEP HIKING
Thank you Juanita! Chris❤🌲🐻👌
Super cool to see you out there with your old buddy, Tim from Minnesota enjoying a campout. Thanks for sharing the encounter of Steven, Ray, and Jack in Washington state, that is just south of us, they're our neighbors. When the park rangers start having feelings of trepidation and want to be transferred, that's got to tell you something.
Thank you - Glad you enjoyed it🌲
How nice to see you with Tim, your friend of many years. Enjoy, I am.
Thank you. Chris & Tim. 8:36
Wow! Another awesome (and terrifying!) story. What a fun camp trip! Looked up Tim and Amy's pizza joint, oh my goodness!Beautiful pies!
Both of you gentlemen have such nice spirits! I imagine you had a very nice glamping weekend!
PS - History with friends is not Nothin!
Thank God for the honesty of this Ranger!
She's a credit to her profession.🙏✊
Agreed! C🌲🌲🐻🐻🌲🌲
It is REALLY great to see you camping with your buddy!!
Ditto what she said. Good times!
Yes it was!🐻🐻
Well I certainly wouldn't be camping alone 8n they parks, you are a brave man chris 😮wi aw the crazy creatures in they woods😮keep safe when you are camping plz m8
As usual, thank you for the storytelling, Chris. Tim, I'm glad you joined your buddy to enjoy the outdoor fun. El Dorado has some beautiful scenery!!! God bless!
What a great time camping and having your friend Tim along! Thanks for continuing to make these videos.
I will do that!! We had a GREAT Time! C🌲🐻🐻🌲
Sundays are the best with Basecamp to get your mind off of work tmrw ahhh!
I love how your videos always manage to be spooky and relaxing at the same time, very unique approach, thank you for putting out this type of content, I look forward to it every Sunday! 🌲🏕️
Thank you so much!
How fun to camp with a great friend! Plus being right by a stream . Bigfoot might crawl in with you! Took my kids to Taylor’s falls three times a week to swim for years! We lived in Center City. The sirens in some towns sets your inner clock. Can’t imagine hearing that in the middle of nowhere!
Thanks for the story Chris, excellent as always and thank you Tim for being a part
of it.
It’s so good to see long time friends getting together and creating memories in the outdoors.
Reminds me I need to get together with a couple of my childhood friends and do the same very soon.
You bet! Good Friends are Good Friends! No matter what....C🌲👍😄
Do it if you’re lucky enough to be able to. ✨
Great story Chris. You guys compliment each other. I could almost smell the campfire.
I’ve been waiting all day Chris!!
Great story and so nice to see two buddies enjoying the outdoors. You are making a great memory right there, nice to meet you Timothy! Thank you for bringing us along!
Very Welcome! Chris🌲🍺🐻👀🍌
Breath taking episode!
Thank you for sharing. 🥹🤍✨
Great to see you having a great camp out with beautiful food & your friend Tim. A great story too ! We have ‘Yowies’ your Bigfoot cousins. There’s a place called The Pilliga in NSW where big burly Semi drivers travelling From Brisbane down to Melbourne refuse to stop in the night. Keep Hiking Chris. 🇦🇺🦘
Beer, camping, fishing , good food and Bigfoot stories Awesome video 🌲🌲
Hi Tim! Nice to have you along for the show. You guys must've had a blast. Good stuff.
Good Time!🐻🐻
Nice trip, one thing I need to say as the daughter of a fire warden, you should sweep the dry pine needle and pinecone debris at least 6 feet from the edge of the fire pit... Only YOU can prevent forest fires {at your camp)
Great advice, thank you
Great advice, thank you
Thank you...will do! C
Not making fun but all I see is Smokey the bear! 😂🤷
This story really freaked me out...not the story itself so much, but the message I got from it.
As soon as you said siren I thought of my hometown in KS where every day at noon, they would sound off the emergency sirens. My grandma said they did so to test the siren on a daily basis so in case of a tornado they were on the ready. This memory has been brought up twice in the past week!!! I haven't heard the siren, or thought about it in many, many years but heard it on a video a few days ago. I really enjoyed the memories it brought up of home and family that are all passed on now. What really got me choked up was the vintage Folders coffee commercial you snuck in there, as it was the brand my grandma preferred and drank my whole life. My fondest memories were actually being "woke up" every morning from that beautiful aroma....that warm feeling of home and family. Thanks so much for confirming the hello from my great grandma❤❤❤
❤😊
Seems like you would get used to the siren then ignore it in an actual tornado. Still drinking Folgers!
Awwww Folgers 😊The richest kind
Beautiful scenery! Nice to see you & your friend having fun.
Great episode with you and Tim.
I lived in Minnesota for a couple of years, 1983-1985. I probably should have stayed.
That is one of the scarier stories that you told.
It definitely makes you wonder when you hear about missing campers and hikers that are never seen again.
Thank you Chris and Tim
I love it when you have guests. I want Jeanette to go camping too.
Best video yet! The background music was beautiful and sharing this awesome experience with such a good friend was just heartwarming and divine!
Thank you Anita! C
Seattle native here. I experienced similar on backpacking trip in Olympic National Park in the late 80s. We also saw it cross the trail in front of us. I no longer go into the backcountry around here. Mostly it's just car camping and day hikes now. Thanks for the story. Just found your channel!
Thank you Jennifer...Olympic NP is wild looking place.🌲👀🌲
The same with me. I used to be a avid backpacker on the east coast. Hiking only out here for me. The North Cascades is a very wild place.
Hi Tim. So glad you went camping with Chris to keep him company. Nice camp set up and food looked delicious. And that story was so scary. Those poor guys. Glad there was at least 3 of them.
Woho! Have been going through all your older backpacking videos, I love 'em, but I enjoy these stories a lot! Keep hiking!
That was terrifying!! I don’t know how you still go out in the woods alone and stay till dark Chris 😆 Enjoyed meeting Tim and watching the camping/fishing adventure too 😎
Thanks so much! 🌲🌲🍌🌲🌲
Great story Chris, nice to meet Tim, love that tent❣️🐅
What a great storyteller. I’m watching late at night from the depths of a PNW rainforest.
I'm glad you had a good friend with you Chris! Makes me feel better for your safety ❤
Me too!! Thanks...
How nice that you have your buddy with you.
Thank you for another brilliant episode (as always)
Wow beautiful setting Music 👍👍Chris & good long time friend Tim Thanks for the story!!!
⛺️ 🔥 👻 . Be safe !!!
Beautiful. Thanks guys!
Thank you too!
Hi Tim! Glad to see you camping with Chris. Fun to go camping with good friends. Thank you for letting us join in.
Welcome! C
There was a animal with Red Eyes but we couldn’t tell what it WAS. It WAS Terrifying.😔😱and I don’t want to ever see it again.
Absolutely gorgeous work my friend, this episode was amazing!
Thank you very much!
This is first class tent camping🎉
Beautiful camp site , thank you for sharing with us. 😍🌲🌲🌲 🌝 ☕️ ☀️
What an AWESOME TENT!! Easy enough to set up too! Nice camp you've set up there... Great story... as usual... Where I grew up in Europe, we had the same warning system: every first Monday of the month, at noon... They brought it in after WW2. At any other time, it would be to warn about an attack, or a dam breaking. They still do it to this day. Thanks for taking me camping tonight... Nice meeting you, Tim! 😊
AWESOME…….No better way to end my weekend than a new video from base camp!!
Yup!!😂❤🎉
Just had a chance to watch. Great story and amazing meeting your friend Tim. I miss those days of being out camping. Thank you for sharing your camping trip with your wonderful friend. ❤️❤️💕💕 Keep Hiking! Much love Chris!
Thank you! Had a great Time...Good friend! C🌲KH!
Great story Chris!!
Neat to see you out with your buddy Tim , looks like you two guys were having a blast. Keep those stories coming, you hit it out of the park with that one!! Thanks!
Thank you! C🌲
I wish I had more time with my dad to do this. He passed 7 years ago but it's been many years since we've been in the woods of the Ozarks in Missouri. My sister and I were his two Tom boy daughters that loved the great outdoors!
If I was a dad I think it would be awesome to have two tomboy daughters
Lost my father this year and miss talking with him about shared experiences and just laughing with each other.
Miss you Dad! 💔🕊️💫
@@ether6136I was a tomboy and my Dad would love to take me fishing.
As the last girl of three, it was just how it worked out.
We were buddies. 💯
Hi Chris!! It's good to see you. I'm glad you have a pal with you. Such beautiful country!!! Wow, what a great story. I got chills when you mentioned that someone was missing in the area where the men were. This story is frightening and when the park ranger mentioned that they were going to stop giving permits in that area made it more scary!!! Stay safe out there Chris!!! ❤
This video had it all; the great story, the cooking, the beautiful views...
It is also very nice to see two old friends enjoying a camping/fishing trip. Thank you Chris, and Tim! ❤
Glad you enjoyed it!🌲🌲
This has to be one of my favorite videos so far! The enjoyment of each other's company was evident and almost infectious through the camera (if that were possible). Plus a great story to top it off!
Thank you so much!! C
Very nice! You truly are the King of Campers and thank you for this really lovely episode. 😊
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks! C
Thanks for the bigfoot story. As a Washingtonian who worked in the Olympic Nat'l Forest, I enjoy hearing these kinds of experiences...not too many skeptics here.😮
WA. is a Great state...wild country up there! C
Chris, I can't tell you how much I enjoy your videos! Oh wait...yes I can! I love them! And it's a bonus when you show extra fun stuff like this! Love to see the added camping experience! And this time a friend! Beautiful scenery. Thank you from a girl who's a caretaker and can no longer get out there any longer to see the world. ❤❤❤
Thanks so much!! bcc
Oooh... scary. Esp bc the rangers knew something was going on too--and a missing person! 😮 thx guys ❤
Why would you even believe that
By so many different accounts, it’s this creatures MO, to elusively intimidate. But then there are also so many accounts of those that do not return from the wilderness. I wonder what it is that crosses that line for some. The guys showed good instincts and stuck together. Great story!
I was waiting for Tim to sneak peek out from a tree during story time 🤭 gr8 camp & story! Thanks guys 🧡
He's Awesome....and Funny! C
Chris and Tim just made another memory. Love the nice 'photo' you captured towards the end. Looking forward to another story :)
Chris I’m so glad you have a friend with you. That story was frightening.
Thanks! C
Great video Chris….nice camping and hiking…beautiful area…wow…awesome story…enjoy each one of your uploads so much…thank you for once again a great video to watch😊
I thoroughly enjoyed this episode. Tim is delightful, and the cooking made me hungry.
That encounter was one of the more frightening ones WOW! Thank you again Chris for the amazing story telling, you have a supreme gift.
Thank you Sheila! c
Love the video Chris! Just like the ones from a few years back! Camping, cooking, plus a story!
8 minutes since it was uploaded.
I know you guys are hungry for commenting, but at least watch the video first smh.
That looks like so much fun Chris. WOW! That was quite a story! There are so many scary stories about Bigfoot and Dogman that I don't understand why people would not believe they exist. Thank you so much. Have a blast!
They dont
From what I have gathered about Bigfoot/Sasquatc stories,. the Official explanation has always been..”You only saw a Bear or Bears” However, maybe it has been for the best to protect them. perhaps our government is trying to protect them by denying their existence.
@@lovelove-fm3nnthey definitely do and they are in our cities too. 65yrs old and I have seen them up close and personal. Smell is obnoxious. Telepathy is strong with them. I’ll take Bigfoot over dogman anyday. Dog men are evil and terrifying. Went camping with girl guides in the uk as a kid. Not for me. Tried again back home in Ireland. Yup defo not my thing. Tried again here in California. Last try and no regrets to never try again. There are so many others in this world that surround us and only become visible when they feel like it. Got the wind up me and I’ve been on edge ever since. Gomint needs to tell the truth for once and for all and get it over and done with and help us defend ourselves and our families and pets.
@SheilaSullivan-i9j 😄
Great video Chris, and welcome Tim!!!!!!
Lovely video Chris, fishing, camping , cooking and a story…👏👏 watching from N, Ireland as always
Awesome!🌲🌲
You don't know how many friends I used to camp with in my youth ! You are fortunate to have a life long buddy to still hangout and enjoy the outdoors, great episode!
Thank you Joseph! C
What a story!!! Great one Chris!! The Rangers know it isn't safe there. If I went into that park I'd definitely be packing a large bore gun!! Thanks Chris and Tim for sharing your time together. Be safe and keep hiking.
No guns allowed sorry
I'd sneak one.@@BernieKnapp-h3n
I'm smelling campfire. Storytelling, camping, surely Eldorado. Great video.
Fab video.. great to see your friend Timmo in this episode too … guys weekend away 😊👍and some fishing!.. more fishing please 😊
I love that tent. Great story. Frightening as always!!
Awesome video, Chris. I could watch that fire all night. Thank you.
me Too! C
I was born in Houghton MI. on Lake Superior. My father ventured to Isle Royal and I have always wanted to go. The northern lights are meant to be amazing there. Cheers to good and old friends. I so much enjoyed seeing the two of you enjoying this gorgeous spot together. Have a wonderful week everyone.
Hi Chris! I’m glad ur not out there alone today!! Always enjoy ur stories, they’re great! 😊 Nice to meet ur friend Tim. Keep hiking
Another terrifying story told wonderfully. I’d be terrified to have such an encounter, even with friends being present.
Anywat, stay safe Chris and greetings to Tim. Always a pleasure to see these amazing camping/fishing scenes and views.
😎👍
Thanks for the camp out with Tim! It was fun!

Awesome as always Chris. I think it's awesome that you brought a friend along. I love that tent and all the food looked scrumptious 😋 then going fishing.

Thanks 👍Appreciated! C🌲
Fish + camping = good😍 North Cascades is just a sacred place. Very special. Wild is an understatement❤🎉
Thanks Sheila! C🐻🌲🍌
I grew up in SD and had that siren and i learned to make that sound. Even got a school bus to pull over 😂
LOL
Great story Chris.
It seems that a lot of contact with Big Foot seems to be all about territory, and maybe people who get aggressive with this creature and push back might end up missing.
There is no such thing
Great views, great storytelling spoooky you had me wrapping up in a blanket. 🌲🦉
Glad you enjoyed Carlena! C🌲
I am not a camper/hiker at all. I love the cozy tent, the cots, all of your super cool equipment, the delicious looking salmon and potato cookout, the beer, the crackling fire and beautiful setting. It is so appealing. Then I hear the Bigfoot story and I'm like, 'nah!'
Man I could almost taste that nice warm coffee in the morning. It must taste like heaven when your camping
Great story great to see another Minnesota guy visiting you
He's the Real Deal...C🌲
You know, I think it’s a man thing to have life long friends; my husband is still in touch with most of his university friends forty years and we still hang out and get together.
Chris, this was an awesome video! You guys looked like you had a great time….but Chris you need to pour your beer without a mountain of suds..! But you’re forgiven, because I know you’re showing us the beer…Hope they’re sponsoring you…or at least buying you a beer! Good friend, Excellent outing, fascinating tale of the strangeness in the back country…what a treat..thanks for taking us along for the adventure..❤🇨🇦
Addendum: You played the sound of a WWII air raid siren..😊
That is almost glamping! Looks like a great campsite. Great to share with your friend. I remember the 80’s! That is all I will say!
Chris has all the gizmos, gadgets and gear.
Plus if you are so familiar with the 80's,like myself.....we earned that glam upgrade!! Put me on the ground my ass isn't getting back up quite as easily...lol
@@heathermachala7623 I would feel like a turtle flipped on its back & looking around for something to help me get up😂😂
If you remember the '80s, you weren't there. 😉
" GLAMPING " I'm sure there's a language in some other alternet parallel universe where using that word would impress 🤔 some people...
Bravo Chris ! My favorite episode so far. Well done, sir. Keep up the good work and get the word of these cryptic encounters out to the world .
Nice to see you with a friend out there in the wilderness! Tim, being an 80’s kid myself I got your “Airplane” reference. 😅
Great story and love the fly fishing, cooking, and beautiful scenery! ❤
Can’t wait to watch for bedtime stories!!
Yes Chris. Like this one a lot. Like the cooking, camping, camp fire thing, plus the story as well. Keep up the good work
Thanks, will do!🌲
Hello Chris and Tim. I hope you enjoyed your camping and hiking. Another great story!
I did!🌲🌲
Thanks so much Chris, a good one and keep that hiking up or I'll tell😂
🌲🐻🐻🌲
What a great trip. I’m officially jealous. Beautiful country a good friend and fly fishing 🎣. I enjoyed it, thank you Chris.
Thank you! C🌲🌲
I enjoy hearing your stories Chris, take care and be safe out in the woods.
Wow, great story.. that's wild. You tell it well. Tim seems like a good fella.
I think so too!
Those guys in North Cascades Park needed my 20V DeWalt light and .303 British. Love your storytelling; reminds me of my dad and uncles back in the day. When we were kids, we'd sleep out in the woods (not all that close to the house) with nothing but coal oil lamp and blankets.
In my town growing up in northern mn we had the town siren as well but ours went off every single night at 9pm. In the younger ages that our cue to head home for the night and originally it was a curfew siren but also a tornado, fire and ambulance call and air raid way back. Each event had a different tone and pattern so first responders knew if it was fire or medical or both. Can still hear it in my head today at 54. Iconic. Great vid and hello from up north!
Thanks Craig!! C🐻🐻
In our rural area 50 yrs ago, they would sound the siren at night to alert the Volunteer Fire Department.. No more sirens after we got a 24/7 Fire Dept Station..
