    Those Show Chrome bolts are designed by the same engineer who made the original seat bolt design.
    BTW - spraying silicon on ALL of the rubber grommets under the seat prior to reinstalling makes the two bolt eyelets line up super easy and might require just a spanking on the backside of the riders seat. Slick as snail snot 👍

    Max great product and suggest that you actually use your new bolts on the film to show the actual difference when the collars, washers OEM/Show Chrome bolds are removed and the new bolt replaced. Sort of a before and after remove all the old stuff and install the new. Keep em coming...

    Max, I got your bolts and I do not like them as is. They are beautiful. However, they are difficult to sink into the seat hole as the flat shoulder snags and stops on top of the plastic. This can lull the average guy into thinking it is seated properly when only a couple threads are engaged. A 45 degree x .030 chamfer cures this issue by turning the bolt into the alignment mechanism. No wrestling required.

      Thanks for the feedback.
      The only time anyone has ever had trouble using the seat bolts has been when owner/dealer lost the collar, and tightened the factory bolt, crushing the plastic. Other than that we made them with plenty of slack.

      Max McAllister & Traxxion Dynamics Don’t get me wrong, I love your products. I was your first full-full Monty customer. And, as a machinist of 50 years and a mechanical engineer, my feedback is an effort to contribute to the advancement of your products. I’m on your side completely. Mike

    I stripped both sides. I'm not using any bolts to hold the seat in place.
    5,000 + miles no problemo.

    Why not just throw the bolts away? The seat is not going to just jump out of position. I removed mine last year and have not had any issues since.

      If you hang off in the turns to drag your knee, the seat can fall off, and you with it. Also when doing stand up wheelies, the seat call fall back into your crotch.

    The other option is to turn the seat spacer around to the other side of the plastic, effectively doing what your new bolt is achieving and you don't need the separate washer with the flat end bolt. Then put a small chamfer on the inside of the seat tab. I have had no problems.

    Such an easy problem to avoid. It makes me wonder how much money Honda saved vs how much money Honda customers will have to spend, because of this design.

    New reply on "I would like to know if you sell a Floor Jack for a 2019 Goldwing DCT Bagger"
    I have a Victory XCT and I use a floor jack that fits under the Engine, which lets me raise the bike to a working height. If I try to lift my Honda, the jack plates go across the exhaust pipes and I’m afraid of crunching them!!! Plus when you lift at that point the bike wants to tip backwards, how do I prevent that?

    • @Traxxion
      @Traxxion  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you want to lift the bike off the ground, I don't know of a product for that, other than a proper bike lift you roll the bike onto.

    Just watched this video. This is exactly what the dealer did with my NEW bike. Collar missing on one side as well as a missing washer on the other. Seat was not even installed correctly. So my point is what could be a better solution to this common problem? Zeus fasteners with some kind of trick backing hardware? Max, we are waiting on your solutuion...

      @@perrygordon123 I have been watching a video per day. I see the "trick" bolts but I am looking for a "quick release" system. I did drill through the end bits of my saddle and used roll pins to secure the shouldered collars. the washer are super glued into place to help keep them from disappearing. It is not the same as a quick release idea. All that accomplished is holding the collars in place.
