Fantastic collection! Very refreshing to see a range of brands when so many collections are 100% Rolex sports models. The Oris divers 65 and Tudor Chronograph with the 5-link bracelet would be some highlights for me! Great examples of how changing the bracelet or strap can totally make the watch.
@@Joseph-gv really appreciate the thoughts here! Thanks for supporting the channel and the dialogue! Agreed with your thoughts on the ones you would highlight! Cheers- Mike
Fun. Collection. Props to your wife. I have one of “those types of wives!” The amazing type. And It’s nice! Although the collection is quite sprawling it has sentimental value throughout. I’m a classic, iconic watch guy. I’d let loose all of the micro brands and stick with the big boys. But that’s me. You have great reasons to keep them. Moving up the complications food chain is an option. But you seem like a sports watch kind of guy.
@@ol6309 thanks so much! Definitely a tough decision daily on how to alternate the collection! Yeah the wife is a rockstar for sure! Appreciate the channel support! Cheers-Mike
Really enjoyed the video, quality of the shoot is amazing. Want to ask about where did u buy the brown leather strap for the breitling , and the black leather strap for the oris?
@@griffon89 thanks for the support! The brown strap on the Breitling is Oem but Breitling still sells it I think on their site. They also have a black one. (Link below) www.breitling.com/us-en/straps/leather/595XS/ For the Oris it’s actually a dark navy blue color, hard to see on camera. I think I had that one custom made, can’t quite remember bc I have like 100 plus straps. Appreciate the dialogue! Cheers-Mike

Just chirping my opinion here, I think you have way too many watches. So many of the watches you showed you had to add a disclaimer that you hardly wear them, they don't get any wrist time, etc. What's the point in having so many watches if you don't wear and enjoy them? Even the ones your wife has gotten you as gifts you said you barely wear. To me, that's sad. I would get this collection down to ~10 watches that you actually wear and have a connection to. I think at a certain point having this many watches that don't get worn is hoarding and needless consumerism.
@@SpookyConcepts appreciate the thoughts. Can’t say I disagree, this actually is a slimmed down version of my overall collection. 2024 has been the year of unloading pieces to create a more curated and well balanced collection. The plan is to continue slim down and have a steady rotation. Cheers- Mike
12-14 would be my goal. You can still give each ample wrist time in the span of a year. My problem is that I adore many dress watches, but I can't really wear many of them at work.
