I just think it's hilarious that a bird that runs through my yard every day is served in such a fancy restaurant.

I was pleased to see Ryan more humble in this episode. Until now, he came across as arrogant and entitled. I would have liked to see David go further.

😊I agree a TRUE Master Chef can make a meal taste fantastic with common ingredients!!! On the other hand if I'm paying the unimaginable prices these places charge it had better have several crazy expensive ingredients on it like truffles, caviar and lobster plus anything else that qualifies!!!

David, you should be extremely proud of yourself. You are a wonderful chef, you learn so fast, and I have a feeling this show has opened new horizons for you. You will be a fabulous, creative chef. And you have such a great personality - kind and gentle, accepting of your mistakes, always striving to learn from others and do better. A recipe for success.

Ryan is awesome. No doubt about it. But I really want this for David. He's so sweet and so humble and yet so incredibly talented. He's also a young father who wants to provide. He puts together anazing dishes that taste amazing. I would love to see him win. If he makes a big 1 day he's the kind of chef. I would want to work for because he would treat the people Under him with Dignity respect And kindness

David is a fantastic cook who cooks instinctively. That tells me that he could put out food that taste great consistently. I would forego the fancy presentation and trickery. That doesn't always go off without a hitch because it could be hit-or-miss. David is a cook for the people

A pasta is not a poor mans dish just bc you don’t know how to serve it. Cheap ingredients? Wow I will never eat a a Michelin restaurant ever.

Greg is correct usually they use a meat or lobster sometimes truffle to elevate the flavour all expensive ingredients. He basically used vegetables you could buy at a supermarket on a budget - great chef!

These young Chefs regardless of outcome have just recieved a masterclass from one of the best chefs in the world. They are lucky and anyone who does not realise the standards and amount of training to achieve the standards is simply unaware of the stakes in this cooking. it is real life not simply a competition and for the Head Chef every dish is his name so care and concern is normal.

Covid happened. Many restaurants closed as people cooked at home or ordered delivery. It’s still taking time for some to bounce back considering the economy, staffing etc. a few weeks ago we finally made it back to our favorite restaurant and it was pretty empty for a Sunday evening. Prices had doubled, so no surprise.

Howard did crack? I never knew that but it doesn't surprise me. If any chef does given the amount of hours and work they do. That's insane. It's unsustainable for any normal human being.
