Pigeon and chocolate? I had to rewind to check I heard right. All of a sudden, my planned supper of beans and toast followed by banana sounds actually ok 😊
@@MaligoLibes Not surprised, the type of product they were trying to make at the rate and intensity just isnt feasible for long term success. You cant grill your workers like that 24/7 and expect results, it'll crack eventually.
@@maryholden3136 yea that dish sounded good up until the chocolate..I'm sorry but somethings are just not meant to go together...choc blueberry celeriac pigeon? That's just trying to be smart while being stupid
One of those disappointing episodes. Ludo consistently outshone Matt yet Matt prevailed with one dish. His 2nd dish was overdone and no better than Ludo's as far as I can tell from the criticism, so one starter won. I dislike that when the record of one competitor is ignored in favour of one dish. It makes me wonder if favouritism creeps into the competition. I guess it has with me because I favour Ludo. Many thanks for keeping up your reliable posting.
I’m not sure.. Matt constantly showed improvement throughout the competition and it was clear in his two dishes there was some inspiration from Maze. They also showed his willingness to learn. Ludo, on the other hand, had a strong base, and was very skilled. However, as Michel says, there is a certain air of complacency around him and I don’t think he improved much, nor did he take on the critical feedback from the judges . I, for one, think they made the right decision
@@MrTann2010 I trust the judges know what they're doing. For me, complacency isn't a problem if the chef is turning out the best food time after time. Who cares if he's complacent? What appears to be complacency could be a different learning style. Obviously Ludo has learned a lot if he keeps producing such accomplished dishes. But then, I'm not a chef or a judge. You judged it better than I did.
@@cunningflop My preference would be overall best food but the judges have other aims, such as looking for improvement even if the food isn't consistently the best.
I think if Ludo were up against Ryan, he would have knocked him out. Matt would have taken David in spades and we’d have two very interesting and exciting chefs competing in the next round. As it stands, we have a fledging still working out how to fly, and a T-800 still working out how to smile. 😂
It's a pity as these two were up against each other, as are probably the strongest two chefs in the competition.
When Ludo lost and shake Matt's hand he said "can you win it?" - wow

That Maze kitchen looked like working in Hell itself.
It's shut down /changed hands these days. It's not surprising. That kind of place must have outrageous amounts of turnover and workplace stress.

The factory farmed side of great food..... but pigeon and chocolate?

Ludic had my heart.
Did not expect Matt to win this round actually.
Matt's scallop dish has my name all over it. I would like to order two plates please 😋😊
The UK really loves celery root apparently. It’s in every episode.
It was the start of its popularity, that faded a bit when cauliflower steaks came along. Always good food, but fashion comes and goes

how else do you separate people in a competition?

Matt consistently showed his hunger to learn and improve. Maybe, that tipped the edge for him
What is the music that is used around 2:50?
If you know please post :)
It is obnoxious noise. Not music.

I think Matt is a great kid and he's very talented. Definitely going places but I am heartbroken because ludo definitely deserve this win
I'm not one to be picky but 6 remain technically at this episode
Well, seven no?
@Sueblueify no we already had to semi finals this the third so there are 6 left at the start of this episode
Forgot the first set ☺️
I think this two were put up together to get rid of Ludo...
Ludo is clearly better than the winners from epi 22 and 21....
#bringLudoback
Wrong decision. I certainly wouldn't want to eat that dish anyway.
That blonde girl Angie was in Gordon ramsays F word so are they actors or just chefs that transferred over I wonder
Real chefs. Just far too many cooking shows on TV so they’ll end up on more of them.
Ludovic is too arrogant and seeing himself in final too soon. Hope he learns humility
so did matt to be fair
Another Michelin restaurant that's closed.
exactly.....pretentious nonsense....chocolate gnash with mean....wtf...!!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Maze Grill much better
Quail 🤢
Ludo looks constantly stoned
