I used to hate the fit but as I get older and like a simpler life and the fact that not everything has to be the best top notch things iv learned to actually like these but definitely helps that it’s a Honda

It’s nice to see this and that some people realize you can buy a reliable car and still have fun with it. I’ll take reliability over anything anyday. Honda and Toyota is the way to go. No one needs to go and buy a expensive Mercedes or bmw or anything crazy like that.

As someone who is building his own honda fit this car is awesome perfect daily or first car build after market isnt huge but parts are rather cheap and readily available highly recommend an intake it will make the car a bit louder and will give the pedal more response when you push on it
I'm not sure where you are finding cheap and readily available Honda fit parts, but its been a struggle for my GD3 and I. lol. I have tons of custom parts on mine simply because the market is shedding anything related to First Gen Fits anymore. Lots of parts need either made or purchase second hand. I am also building a Fit. Have been for years. I love tinkering with it. The community is neat as well. A little more open minded. Once you start to get aggressive, I wouldn't consider it a "good daily" any longer. lol. I have been doing aggressive mods and upgrades. I love it. Real head turner.
HKS makes great exhaust kits…this build is so sick
Recommendation for a "mod" would be to paint and refinish the calipers and rear drums. Black rear drums would be perfect but maybe like a blue or something on the fronts?
Also, what about a rear sway bar? I would think that would make the car handle so much better!
Any of the mods the are done to the Spec B cars wouldnt be a bad shout either.

Love the way that exhaust sounds! Leave it to you to clean the center consul before putting it back in.
If you just want to add Bluetooth to the car you can get a plug in module from crutchfield that just plugs into the back of the stock unit.
I have one in my civic and it works flawlessly.

bro keep it up been looking for a honda fit myself its like its meant for me to have one lol would wrapping the car or maybe another car mod like the intake or disc brakes for the back or the sway bar for better handling

Yeah I tried that same radio. Failed within a couple days. Better to go with aftermarket quality. I am building a fit as well. Im going more Stance, but fun myself. lol. Its considered my Summer daily. Loving this build so far. Really thinking about putting my name in the pot to see if I win the thing. I'd love to have another one in the fleet.
I would keep the front lip honestly, it looks clean and brings back nostalgia to when people had diy videos of home depot garage door front lips. Nonetheless, this car would be enjoyable to go cruising down a mountain pass and excellent for everyday driving. 👌🏽

I think a regular double din with car play and android auto would work perfectly man with a back up camera. Me personally I prefer simple and clean. Never was a fan of the big screens. But the car is coming out nicely. Maybe a nice simple speaker upgrade and some led headlight bulbs with reverse leds as well. 💪
Basically my build with aggressive wheel fitment, and bagged. haha.

The exhaust is okay, although I would've gone with a Yonoka catback, which is currently the same price as that HKS but still a really nice build so far.
Yonaka doesn't make an axle back for the FIT. lol. Custom made or Mugen, Megan, HKS, and a few others is all you'll find. Sadly.

Definitely ricer. Why would you put mudflaps on something that isn’t a truck or rally car? Even then…
@@anthonyfinney454 not sure where tf ur from but states like NJ get this thing called snow which is why mud flaps can be beneficial to prevent salt buildup which creates rust…

What year is this fit? Any chance you got the part number for the hks exhaust the listing says 2009 to 2014 which is second gen fit but yours is a first gen based on the climate controls

I was just going to comment 'what, no safety glasses?' Add helmet too.
Make sure when you change to a more powerful radios you upgrade the fuses. Only thing I’d recommend is when you take the suspension off if you do another car. Give it some extra love by taking off some of those other suspension components give them a good sand and some nice flat black paint as a good sealant from rust. Been a big follower for a while coming out amazing

Bruh. You have to piece it together. There is NO KIT available at this time for a direct swap. Plus, the fit doens't make near enough power to swap disk brakes into the thing. I won't even do it and my Fit build is wild compared to this. lol. Its clean though.

In my experience, those radios are garbage and even if it did start working now, it’ll stop in 6 months. Better off just getting a name brand double din and doing it with a proper head unit the first time. Those styles are just Chinese units that get pumped out with little quality control.
Better off with a cherry bomb exhaust. That exhaust is trash
