It's nice to see a car guy, who owns a normal car, doing 'regular' things. Nothing to prove, just taking the day to chill with a friend. That's something you don't see everyday on TH-cam anymore.

While I love the Pricey builds with the EVO and the S2K, this definitely reminds me more of the old G&G. Slightly modded cars doing unpractical things and having fun. Great stuff guys.
The early 2000's fish eye lens when skateboarding was pure gold. Reminded me of like the whole mtv bam margera era and jackass. I love cars but this was a great episode. It was nice 2 see a regular build. Luke and Devonte need more camera time. 🤟🏾🤟🏾🤟🏾🤟🏾

that camcorder at the skatepark is a throwback that brought back memories. good shit. two buds just enjoying a road trip in a car that isn't rattling your kidneys on bumps, deafening cruising around, or not being able to pull into every gas station to fill up. i still have to learn how to snowboard or find someone to meet up with to learn

Luke with his Fit is me with my EK. Mine is stock on coilovers and I love it as my daily.
Same here w/ my Protege5. Got it on coilovers, aftermarket intake and axleback muffler. Currently at a shop getting the power steering rack replaced.
Love seeing these shorter, more do-able roadtrips. We definitely need more of these in the future!
I like that as a channel you are pushing back against the need to one-up yourselves with ever-increasing complexity of builds. This was good.
Totally agree, this kind of short relatable trips with a car that isn't a supercar are a lot of fun to watch.
This goes to show that you don't need a "crossover" vehicle to do outdoor sport activities 👍. A Fit can do that just as well!

I love the fact that, even when other youtubers complain alot about the Fit being noisy, Devonte, being a regular, guy says is pretty comfortable, and that's the truth, road noise in that car isn't that bad.
I have one. It gets pretty damn loud on the highway. Doesn’t bother me personally, but it’s not great.

Thanks so much for doing this guys, totally reminded me of my friends and I in highschool/early college, used that exact same camera when it was NEW for filming skating and biking and used it all through film school when it was the best that "film student" money could buy.

Absolutely, hands down, the most NORMAL car guy TH-cam video !! Devonte and Luke doing what 80 to 90% of everyday people do. The Fit and its mods reflects what a regular person on a budget can achieve and expect...ultimately a very usable Platform and fun experience. Luke and Devonte have a very relatable and likeable vibe on camera, Ben/s please let them do more videos like this.

Maybe should've given a few turns in the "up" direction on the rear coilovers (if they are adjustable) when planning to load that much gear. It might have made the bridge joints a bit smoother!

This is how I felt about my voloster. Im and electrician who used to work in the Ozarks and I drove my bone stock voloster turbo absolutely PACKED full with my tools. It was almost more fun with all the weight because it was planted in the mountain turns. I had a full packout stack and the packout trunk in the back and it filled the whole back. I couldn't see out the back very well but the rear window was so small it wasn't useful anyway.
In conclusion, hatchbacks are the best!

bros! i live literally 20 mins from new river gorge haha, like i cross that bridge daily. also, i spent like 80% of my first college year at that beckley freedom skatepark, and also bought my evo x from a dealer like 2 minutes up the road from there. learned how to snowboard at winter place.. my gosh this video was awesome for me lol. hopefully next time you come up, there’s a heads up and we can cross paths! winter place is awesome, but you HAVE to go to snowshoe or timberline. they’re some of the absolute best powder you could ever shred at a resort. also for bouldering, like 15 minutes north of the gorge is meadow river, and it has some of the best bouldering in the world. there’s always 10+ cars parked there and everybody is super nice and helpful finding routes and stuff!
