As long as it's 12v, you should be able to connect the power tool battery to the inverter. The problem is that it doesn't have much capacity to run anything for very long. That's not to say you can't connect multiple 12v batteries together to achieve a higher capacity. I'm not too familiar with doing it like that, so do it at your own discretion. When you used your little heater.it surged to 700+ watts and shut down. The product information says it can take a surge to 1000 watts. How can you say it performed according to its description?
Because a surge usually last for just about a second and the heater surge was longer than that. I just really pushed this inverter way past its max. Thanks for watching!
