The UF-8 rating for AWG 6 power cable is at a temperature of 140F at 55 amps and 167F at 65 amps (USE). So some heat is acceptable and safe, larger cable is better and wastes less energy. All rated power cable will handle this. I personally use the UF-8 ratings as my absolute safety limit for maximum load.

Amazon seems to have bumped up the price after your video. They're now selling them at $41.95.

I am trying to do something similar. Did you connect this directly to your appliances? Or did you run it to the house regulator, assuming you have one of those?

I got this box about 2 months ago, yes you can upgrade the charge controller, you dont even have unplug the old one, the 50A port can be used took up more powerful solar panels, as long as you plug the desired solar controller in the middle, I upgraded to victron 100/50, didnt unplug anything, im using the gray 50A port to recharge the battery. what I can't test is, having both ports using solar, I can confirm that 1 port with solar and 1 port with an AC/DC charger both combine their watts to charge the battery faster.

Great info..i have same inverter, but with 1 socket instead of 2..And becouse im from Holland, we have 220 Volt 50Hz. .. indeed a very solid inverter, for the price its amazing!

First I bought this inverter about 3 weeks ago, and yes it's a 3000 watt inverter, if you watch the video he was running at and over 2700 watts constantly so it can not be a 1500 watt inverter. If it was 1500 watt inverter peak power would be at 3000 watt, and rms power would be at 1500, rms is continuous power so if he's running at over 2700 watts on a 1500 watt inverter it would have been shut off.

Great review, have subscribed 😀 I've got one of these and it was great for 8 months. It's started to make a chirp sound from inside somewhere when the draw goes higher than 350W. It sounds like a short duration arc from a flyback on a CRT TV. No errors on the display. Do you know what may be happening? Also, are LCYMW a company that honors warranties, do you know (was an Amazon purchase)?

This review is a joke, and I admire you trying to sell something that you very well know is not good. You don't even mention if the 12V is regulated and even if it is, 8 amps max is a joke and won't power any diesel heaters. At $2599 you can purchase a better unit with everything you mentioned this unit does not do. You keep making reviews like this you will sound like a snake oil salesman. Protect your channel because I love the enthusiasm you show. Don't feel compelled to review products just because they send them to you.

Can you chain two of these solar panels together for more power it can be done with goal zero solar panels, which is a huge advantage to carry two small ones in the backpack

This thing is a joke right? 200 watts of solar input on a battery that size? It will take you days and days to charge it. Geez my little pecron e600 has a 612 wh battery and can take 400 watts of solar. Sorry this thing is ridiculous!

Are you running a negative wire from your solar controller directly to the negative post of your battery? I was always told not to run anything to the negative post other than the wire going to your shunt, or you will not get correct readings from the shunt. I have been told to run it to a bus bar along with the load side cable from the shunt. Is this correct?
