The square patties are more of a symbol of Wendys than it is for a purpose. I mean yes the square patties probably allow for more efficient use of the grill space, but they really use the square patties because it's a metaphor for them saying that they do not cut corners.
Black Garlic you can make your own, it's impossible for you to not have mayo in your home, bacon is very affordable, his milk dough recipe can be bought under $20 and I think the beef is the only kinda expensive part of this burger

We made these tonight with a slight modification (single 1/3 lb patty), and dang, they came out tasty! The buns didn’t come out quite as nice looking as the ones in the video but the taste and texture was great.

Chris Boyschou the challenge is to see if you can create a good quality and better version of the fast food item at the price the food chain sells it for. The baconator costs well over $6 after tax. Brothers Green Eats here on TH-cam (now going by Pro Home Cooks) has done similar videos if you’d like to see it done in action! The challenge is definitely possible and it’s a challenge, it’s not going to be easy :)
The reason for the square patty is a matter of production efficiency. The shape allows you to fill a sheet tray with ground beef and then cut out patty’s the same shape and thus size. It’s actually kind of surprising that more places don’t do this as you don’t have to fuck around with shaping

With the help of 1 hour of shopping, $50 of total ingredients, hours of prep time, extensive knowledge of how to properly bake and cook, and plenty of dirty dishes, you too can beat a $5 fast food burger.
Wendy's gets a touch of umami and added richness from 1/4 oz of beef liver per 1/4 lb beef patty, FYI. (I know a guy at their meat source.) I works, too. Home beef blend is about the same as yours, but I have the butcher add a small pack of liver to my meat orders, and add it to my grind-age. Once you go big iron, you never go back.
Woops forgot to mention that you need to add your thickened flour mixture along with the yeast milk mixture when making your dough. Sorry love u.

I think it would be almost too hard seeing the discount that fast food restaurants get for heavy bulk purchases.

Chris Boyschou the challenge is to see if you can create a good quality and better version of the fast food item at the price the food chain sells it for. The baconator costs well over $6 after tax. Brothers Green Eats here on TH-cam (now going by Pro Home Cooks) has done similar videos if you’d like to see it done in action! The challenge is definitely possible and it’s a challenge, it’s not going to be easy :)

The reason for the square patty is a matter of production efficiency. The shape allows you to fill a sheet tray with ground beef and then cut out patty’s the same shape and thus size. It’s actually kind of surprising that more places don’t do this as you don’t have to fuck around with shaping

So I made your baconator with everything- the buns, the mayo, the whole nine yards and it was amazing!!!! I have been cooking and baking for over 20 years now so I felt pretty comfortable doing it for the first time for company, but I have to tell you … in your bread description, you forgot to mention at which point you add the pre-prepared tangzhong. I have used this technique before so it wasn’t a big deal for me, but it could be confusing to other people

Wendy's gets a touch of umami and added richness from 1/4 oz of beef liver per 1/4 lb beef patty, FYI. (I know a guy at their meat source.) I works, too. Home beef blend is about the same as yours, but I have the butcher add a small pack of liver to my meat orders, and add it to my grind-age. Once you go big iron, you never go back.
