    Jordan's game 6 in the 1998 NBA Finals was his greatest performance. He knew that his best chance to win was game 6 and with Pip being out, Jordan carried that team. He made all of the right plays in those final 40 seconds and sunk that dagger that cemented his legacy.

    Michael Jordan is the single greatest grower and fostered his sport more than ever in the history of professional athletes. This claim will never be substantiated, but I don't think it's too far of a stretch to say that more people on this planet know of, and or are fans of, and play basketball because of Michael Jordan than any other single reason that could be named. His level of fame made his sport better simply because he was alive to play it. No other professional athlete can make that claim with the possible exception of Muhammad Ali, but THAT is the caliber of person we're talking about here. Numbers and stats are what they are, but it's the intangible fact that Jordan simply exists to play basketball that makes him the greatest of all time.

    • @kaanthedesperate

      @TheRealist 811 i think it was %63 MJ and %19 or %21 LBJ. And other than that , we all know it was gonna be a MJ documentary. I love how MJ always wait it out for the documentary and then after 2016 Championship, he signed the contracts. Also, this new generation actually can see more footage of both players, can search a lot more stats and numbers about both of them. And because they watch LBJ and they also watch MJ too, they can decide who is better. If u look into +30 years people, most of them stuck to past and cant admit that LBJ is better. if not, cant admit he is really close to MJ and MJs Legacy. I am a basketball and LBJ fan, a Curry, a Kobe Fan. A MJ fan too. But MY GOAT is without a doubt LBJ. Lately, ive been talking and arguing about it a lot, so i search evwrything, every championship and playoff run MJ and LBJ had, every stats etc. I watch higglights and lowlights of both of them. And by the time, i came to realise LBJ is just better. And even tho MJ has 6-0 and scoring titles. LBJ's legacy and wht LBJ has done in his career is just greater than MJ. You shouldnt act like the only achievement in basketball are championships, finals record. But MJ is my 2nd without a doubt, so i respect people who puts him ahead of Bron. Btw I believe people will come to realise that LBJ is just better than MJ in 10-20 years. I really can see thats happening.

    • @kaanthedesperate
      @kaanthedesperate 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @TheRealist 811 most guys, like i said, is stuck there and car get out and admit LBJ's greatness but ofc its their opinion. Lebron literally helped Kyrie become who he is now, without MJ there was always gonna be Pippen. Pippen is a really really good player. I dont believe without LBJ, Kyrie is being a superstar. He has the skills and everything but he became the man thx to Bron. You said MJ never leaver Chicago. There is something slightly important to talk about there. MJ had an almost superteam after Pippen joined, im not talkinh about the last 3 championships, that was absolute nuts. But even with Pippen and decent role players, a nearsuper team. Compare to what LBJ got and what he faced to what MJ got and what he faced; we both know MJ had more advantage. Even in Miami, even in 2013, he had to carry even that team to the finals when Bosh and Wade playing like shit. If u watch those games you know what im talkin about. Other than that, James all career stats are easily better than MJ's Chicago* career stats. LBJ's playoff and finals games are easily more succesful than MJ's and if you look to game score leadings etc. You can see what im talkin about. Even with that much scoring title youd think MJ is the most efficient player, but most of the people say LBJ cant shoot and MJ isnt even more efficient than LBJ himself. Not in paint not in 3P line not in Long range. Im not saying MJ isnt great. Those watch u wrote there is awesome, but if u watch games, playoff runs, finals, all time stats; if u search how game score and efficiency works, how much both MJ and LBJ helped their team and how much LBJ is better(but still cant win those 6 finals). Look its simple dude, put LBJ in MJ spot. LBJ is winning at least 5 championships likr MJ did, Put MJ in LBJ's spot MJ is winning 1 mayybe 2 Miami championship probably 2011 or 2012 at best. And no other championships. And MJ is not even going to finals in 07, 17, 18. Thats my point. BTW TYSM FOR READING MY COMMENTS AND CHAT.

      I can come up with a bunch of statistical reasons why MJ is better, but in the end what I always start with is the caliber of players Lebron has had is so much better than MJ. Wade, Bosh, Kyrie, Love, Davis, are all more impressive individual players than Pippen ever was. Pippen statistically was equivalent to an Antawn Jamison, although Jamison had more elite years. His career isn’t over, he can achieve much more. Also why is Kobe so overshadowed and just an afterthought? I my opinion the debate should be between Kobe and LeBron. The played in the same era, have multiple championships(Kobe 5). He was also chasing the ghost of Chicago and almost caught him but his body gave up. I believe MJ is in his own territory because NO ONE WILL EVERY REACH THE PEAK HE HAS, 3 peat, 2 times that’s dominance can’t be matched. Jordan has 7 out of the top 10 playoff series scoring averages of all time... Only three other players appear on this list, once a piece (Berhard King, Jerry West and Rick Barry, West and Barry who were around in the time of 33% more possessions per game) .... Lebron doesn't appear on this list even once. In 1988, Jordan averaged 45.2 PPG against the Cavs (really think about how insane that is), hitting the series winner in Ehlo's face, and having back-to-back 50 point games, the only time this has happened in playoff history. Not only that... but the efficiency with which he did it was ridiculous... and steals, rebounds, blocks were fairly crazy as well. And he did this with nearly all 2 pointers. Lebron's never been anywhere near that level. You know that Raptors series in 2018 that many of his fans call the best of his career? Those were Jordan's numbers for the earlier 7 years of his playoff career, averaged.... including assists, by the way.
    Jordan also has by far more records (non-longevity based), highest PER of all time, playoff PER, PPG, win shares... the only thing Lebron has going on above Jordan is today's inflated stats, Westbrook who was able to average a 30 ppg triple double for three seasons straight. Jordan also only dominated others, was never dominated in a series (Jason Terry, Kevin Durant heavily dominating Lebron in the finals all come to mind, 4 of his finals matchups getting FMVP including even Andre Iguodala). Jordan was another beast, on both ends of the court. Still to this day, he looks like a player from the future, and that's crazy... he played 3 decades ago. Best inside game, best midrange game.... even a similar 3 point average despite choosing not to take them and playing in a non-3 pt heavy era. Meanwhile, Lebron shoots in the 30th percentile from midrange. The year Jordan won defensive player of the year, you had defensive beasts all over the league, including Hakeem... He averaged more blocks than half of the starting centers and 200 steals to go with it (hasn't been done by anyone else)..... at shooting guard. He's the only player to average 30 PPG and win DPOY... with 35 ppg (insane, Lebron's never been that dominant). Almost every argument goes to Jordan. And as for help? 50+ point games: MJ has 30 of the 34 in Bulls history (88.2%). 40+ point games: MJ has 165 of the 230 in Bulls history (71.7%) and 30+ point games: MJ has 537 of the 1,291 in Bulls history (41.6%). Lebron is much bigger and heavier than MJ so considering that it makes Lebron's vert more impressive for a person of his size to achieve that but nonetheless in the end you could still debate that MJ jumped higher no matter. Just something to think about.

    Jordan let the game come to him. He could play with the ball or off-ball to blend seamlessly with the system. The triangle offense system keeps everyone touching the ball so the players can stay in rhythm.
    Lebron forces his system onto his teammates. Lebron dominates the ball while his teammates stand still around the perimeter. The lack of ball movement and player movement is the reason why players lose rhythm while playing with Lebron.

      This is very true. LeBron is my favorite player but I've never liked watching those games down the stretch in his second stint in Cleveland where the offense would simply consist of LeBron dominating the ball while his team mates would just wait for him to try to score or wait until he threw it to them only when they got wide open which would took over half the shot clock to have manifest. Unless they're a perimeter all star very solid players will lose confidence playing that way as we seen in 2018.

    First James has to stay with a team long enough to get a 3 peat. Two he has to be able to play with a team he is dealt with and not stack the team like he does. Jordan was not able to build a team like James does. Every team James plays on can only be certain players. Until James is able to play without sacking a team, that is when we will see how good he really is. Not to mention, did the guy say James only plays half the time as a defensive player as he tries to conserve energy? Better word for it is LAZY!!!

    When an NBA legend says that he played against God disguised as micheal jordan, you know he's the best. Whenever you refer to someone who's the best in that field, you say that he's the micheal jordan of the field. Whenever there is a discussion on who is the GOAT, its always Jordan vs Kobe or Jordan vs Lebron. The common factor? Jordan. My point is: whenever you want to consider a player to be great, you compare him with jordan. he's the standard, plain and simple.

    In 2014, two-times defending champion Miami (on the verge of 3-peat) got their ass wiped by SA, not even close, total domination. There is no team in the history of the NBA that would've beaten any of Jordan's championship teams that easily. Lebron is great, but he's not as dominant or competitive as Jordan. Even Game 3 of the ‘86 playoffs when he only scored 22, he had two jaw-dropping plays to start the game, then spent the rest of the game trying to pass the ball.
      Yeah, you could mention Game 4 in ‘89 or Game 1 in ‘95, but in ‘89 he more than made up for it in Game 5, and in 1995 he was coming back from baseball, and more than made up for it in ‘96. Lebron? Don’t think so.
