Not bad! Deciding whether or not to get a floating radio or not. This helps! Only thing I would do differently is get a USB-C socket instead of a USB. Just to give it a more modern look.
LOL it's not about how something looks....unless you are 15 years old....it's about what you need and how you are going to use the system....
Alright, let me reiterate. I would choose to install USB-C in lieu of USB as it is essentially today's standard connector. Makes sense to me to keep up with the times. And I personally prefer the minimal, modern and clean look. To each their own, grandpa. ✌ @@JQUICK21
@@TheAtlasSupreme I agree with you 100% The original, larger USB connection not only looks dated, but most if not all of my devices are the newer USB-C.
I’d love to have this done to my 4Runner!
Thank you for this and sharing your knowledge/research!
Amazing video bro, I would really appreciate if you can clear my doubt regarding the wiring for the backup cámara to turn on reverse, I will be using the metro 70-1761 (as I have the basic radio) so should I just wire both red cables and the blue cable together? Thanks!
Does this head unit allow for GPS apps? maybe I missed this.
Does the 4th gen sr5 4WD come with the subwoofer box and amp as shown in the video ?
What happened to the links? Im trying to buy the harness but its not showing.
I have that same 4runner, what I don't understand is why 3 types of Metra dash kit, which one should I buy?
thanks in advance for your help
I read a comment that said that the iPhone 12 did not work with CarPlay, that worried me because I have the iPhone 13, can you please clarify for me?
Works fine, be careful of others on the internet.
Question: I am trying to do this with a 2007 limited, the single den I ordered from ur link says on it that it’s not for limited models, is there another pet I need instead?
Amazons fit guide is awful. It should fit fine
Will this work with factory jbl system?
He literally said it in the video man.
@@MotionPotion3 soldered every connection worked great for me! Only thing I could not get to work was dimming.
Looks like mass confusion to me.....gotta be something better than this.....much better.....
Better how?
Hi! Mine came with the jbl but the previous owner had subwoofers in it. He left the amp all wired up and took the subs. Does this mean my amp has been bypassed already and the method you used in this tutorial is what I should use?
More than likely, he kept the factory amp to power the door speakers, and only added a new amp to power the subs. Now having said that, he may have also replaced the door speakers.
stop biting your nails😊
no bites there, those are car audio install nails.
