The worry i have about the economy is ship purchases. When ship crafting and the player market comes into play that will help some, but im worried CIG will make it so hard to save up credits to buy a ship that can make you real money(salvage in current patch but obviously subject to change) will create a massive divide between the players that already own one of those ships and the ones that are struggling for dozens of hours just to get access to a way to make more efficiently so they can actually start saving for the ship they want. CIG says they dont want players to have too much money hoarded up, but i wonder how im ever supposed to afford a large ship purchase if even the act of earning money costs so much money that my end of day profits are so small. Starting to get a little too close to my own struggle of purchasing a home😅
I hope it ends up that money is only vaguely useful and the real currency is reputation. Sure, you can buy that 'next big thing' at Astro Amada but it's never going to be as good as one you craft with blueprints that can't be bought with cash, only earned when your rep with the faction that owns it is high enough. .. It'll probably never happen but that's better than any money based economy imo.
THe best thing to avoid inflation in Star Citizen is to avoid overpayment of mobiglass missions. producers and haulers must be the baseline of the economy. if I, as a trader, can make 100k per hour. Maybe I can afford to hire 3 escort pilots at 10k each / hour. after I pay for fuel, landing costs, stevedores, insurance, and other misc cost. maybe I'm netting 40-50k/ hour. which I should since I'm risking so much in buying goods to sell elsewhere. and the lower risk players, like fighter pilots make 10k/ hour. but that ain't gonna work if the mobiglass is paying these guys 200k an hour "go out and kill someone" missions. make ships and missiles, even fuel EXPENSIVE. so the average player is saving for 6 months to buy a connie. earning money has to be a bit of a struggle. like the real world, for most of us. the US inflation is larrely due to the defacto DOUBLING of minimum, and other wages. money became too easy. What people don't understand is that money is a symbol of VALUE. and the stupid among us just want a big number. if you double the number on wages, pretty soon the number will double on prices. because the VALUE does not change
If I pay taxes, can I get my ship De-nerfed? Also, what qualifies as a lot of credits, because I am not buying lots of ships and toys like a high roller?
I know people think this is going to make the game less fun, but not removing money from circulation means things are just gonna get more and more expensive.
The New players are not playing or not buy the game. Like my I just bout the game and two days later they broken my Aurora with the update, I wait politely and update comes again and the Aurora is still broken. Economy is just fine it doesn't seem to be a big worry as no one spends their money as there is nothing to buy..
Sorry guys, but this game is becoming more and more realistic, i already have to work literaly for a low wage, so paying taxes bruu, what next, will they put a hobo gameplay...

I've been waiting to file my income taxes in game.
Don't forget to fill out your I-9040 B form in triplicate or you'll have your ship impounded.

Our government is a great place of reference if your goal is to keep the population poor.
Alternate title for the video: "How to make the game even less fun!"

Just inject all that money in my economy, pls😅😢😂😊
This crap dosnt need to be in a video game. They already have gold seller sites for this game which is going to ruin this experince for every one.

My taxes is going to Ukraine
None of this sounds fun.
Maybe you're just too much fun.

Screw CIG. Star Citizen 1.0 is NEVER going to be released. Just buy your aEUCs from an MMO broker. Problem solved.
