- In this video, I show you how to draw a male face with an easy step by step for beginners. This art tutorial will not only show you how to draw a male face but also give you insights to my own sketching technique.
There are different ways to learn how to draw a face and personally, the way that I best learned was to learn by doing first. After studying reference photos and sketching what I saw in my sketchbook, I then checked out various drawing tutorials on the fundamental proportions of a female face. Ultimately, it's up to you to figure out what works best. At the end of the day, as long as you are drawing and trying, this is all that matters!

I would love a more in depth video on male vs female drawings. I always end up drawing feminine males, I don't have a huge problem with that, it's just not always what I'm going for.

This is a very in depth tutorial. I’ll try to draw a male face usually I stick to female bc they are easier for me. But thx for this. Also I love this channel. It it one of the i believe out of 5 that have helped me evolve into the artist I am today.

I have such a hard time drawing male faces. It's usually the hair or the facial features, the eyes and nose aren't so bad but the lips/mouth are, so is the hair, if you could make a video on that, then I'd definitely watch it

I really like how the male faces turned out, I actually found that if I draw a face shape with a narrow jaw line and harsher sides it really does start looking like a male. I do have a question though, how does one draw eyelashes on a male without making them look like a girl?
You can draw much shorter lashes that don't curl up so much. I tend to do very minimal lashes (not as much as I would on a female). I'm not sure if this helps, it's a bit hard to explain 😅
