How to Draw a Female Face - Art Tutorial【My Sketching Technique】

- In this video, I show you how to draw a female face with an easy step by step for beginners. This art tutorial will not only show you how to draw a female face but also give you insights to my own sketching technique.
There are different ways to learn how to draw a face and personally, the way that I best learned was to learn by doing first. After studying reference photos and sketching what I saw in my sketchbook, I then checked out various drawing tutorials on the fundamental proportions of a female face. Ultimately, it's up to you to figure out what works best. At the end of the day, as long as you are drawing and trying, this is all that matters!

For years and years, I've been trying my hardest to do anime style drawings, like, trying so hard and of course there were some improvements but nothing major. I was so hooked on that style and for the first time, I saw your style and was like "hey, that's cute" and picked up my pencil and saw I had a better knack at this. I know if I try and persevere, I can get this semi-realism style down, I think I found my true art style. Thank you.🖤🖤🍪

I tried this and it actually works :D, I'm just starting out with learning how to draw and this is the closest I've come to drawing an actual human looking face. This is fantastic, thank you so much for this wonderful reference video, it was so useful :D

I'm sure a lot of folks will find this handy, and yeah I feel you on the profile view, I do it a lot just to try to get used to it. I always highly recommend Loomis and Hamm for looking at how to draw the head and face, nothing quite beats the classic instructions. That being said, it's awesome to see people showing off their methods.

To begin with, it kinda felt like the eyes, lips and nose were all 3 separate pieces rather than part of one whole face, but they seem to be flowing together a lot better for me now. Drawing is practice for sure but I've been practicing with the Loomis technique and I'm liking using that but I haven't drawn anything in 20 yrs myself.
