Even if you did and found it suxs Don't they have a RETURN policy? I generally preorder, at times, not always, and have Paypal do a pay-in-4 thing and then its paid by release and I'm good to go. If it turns out to suxs or a buggy mess I can return it. It works for me, your milage may vary.

We got ghost of tsushima, which was exactly want we wanted then, an immersive single player experience set in feudal japa with amazing visuals, stealth and combat that you could enjoy and without the online monetization crap. Instead I can already guess we"re getting a new Valhalla.
I love AC Odyssey, by far my favorite AC game. The same team is making Shadows, so I hope it's similar with the rpg mechanics. I don't care about the time travel parts or memory swap or whatever it is. That kills my emersion when I have to stop having fun and walk around in plain clothes in the current day doing dumb shit.

Do we have to play as both characters? I don't wanna play an AC game where I have to brute force my way through encounters as the Samurai. I favor the stealthy silent approach to encounters.
Hard pass on this game. Just can’t take this serious. He was never a Samurai nor an Assassin, he took one part in a single battle then vanished. Ubisoft should have done their research. Why not have two Japanese characters to represent their culture? And this is in no shape or form a racist comment. I just feel this would have been suited for a Japanese character.🙄

I stopped pre-ordering games a while ago; based on how badly unfinished, god-awful, and bug-filled so many were when released. I am NOT ever touching this game! Ubisoft is the new Spawn-of-Satan in game publishers. By now requiring always on-line, and also de-listing The Crew. Never mind that they also have the most unreliable servers in existence.
