Thank you for always supporting my channel 🥰 from what I heard, there are not a lot of female Sushi Chefs because Japanese believe that women have higher body temperature and therefore it affects the temperature of the ingredients, which are mostly fish and seafood. And tastes of the ingredients change according to its temperature too, so inconsistency might occur. There are also cultural aspects too that in the earlier days it’s a “man’s job” due to the hard labour and high dedication nature of the work itself. Women are expected to do “lighter” jobs. But actually I’ve been seeing more and more female Sushi Chefs lately! It’s definitely on my bucket list to try out Sushi by a female Chef. Very interesting how cultures are blending and changing. If I get to go I’d definitely share it with everyone on TH-cam 😊 thank you so much again for watching!
