if anyone is still struggling with this I have a tip for you to help time your cr.mk into spinning bird, Slow the video down to 0.5 after that skip to the part where he shows you how long you need to charge. Watch the crouching medium kick connect, the hit indicator is flash of yellow. Once the yellow is almost all gone do your spinning bird.
After I watching, I immediately got so damn determined to land this dumb little combo lol Managed to get it ONCE but I'm still trying to get it come out consistently. Thanks for this really well explained video, yo!

Hi I just cant get it . 1 I wanna say I'm more double tapping player. Maybe ur as well. But what I see u don't double tap the MP and im always double tap the MP for confirm in ur video u just tap all buttons only 1 time. Don't get me wrong but what u thing I'm missing ? Because I always manage to mike the 3 combos- down lp st mp and the down mk. But SBK never comes out or if comes out its too late in the time when the dummy can block it. Pls help. Great video ty. And i manage to master Air Lighting legs ty to ur video.
its the precise timing, If i double tap in the videos people will just say "its only because of double tapping that you can do it" my combo philosophy is if the move doesn't come out, you pressed too early if the opponent on auto block blocks, you hit it too late. So you have to find the sweet spot. In actual matches I'll double tap, while in tutorials I demonstrate the importance of simple timing. Get the simple essentials down and then you can start to dance your fingers around the arcade stick.

I rly try it now whitout the double tap and more focus on execution and the timing and I can do it evrytime when I wann it now, I even manage to mike it very slow. I rly thing now ty to ur advice I have become a better fighting player. Aways I mike my combos very fast extremely fast and now I'm more come and this help me my exectunios this whas my big issues whit that combo. I thing I get more angry last day cuz for a couple hours I whas not manage to do it correct but in my eyes whas impossible to do it. I will never forget this day it whas like back in the days trying to master the arcade stick so much painful time. But now I'm 5 finger and double tapping player. Now I can do the most hard execution on SFV CHUNs SBK-combo. Ty for the help.
Don't give up Steve, keep at it. Stay calm and relaxed and you'll be able to slowly figure out what to change in your execution... It took me 2-3 weeks to be able to do it
Whenever I'm in a slump with this combo, one useful thing to think about is "Do I not have enough charge? where could I get the extra frames of charge from?"

timing so tight.
std mp to cr mk so tight to charge.
std Mp so fast not like Guile Std HP can cover charge time.
Emphasise on holding the charge even when the cr.mk hits and has finished hitting.

trust me, i would never get it , if i dont watch this video. and mastered sonic boom loop tho cause both have same logic
it is a lot easier with light sbk. What helped me the most was feeling like i was holding down before i even had the st mp out.

Oh man i did the combo after 3 weeks try'n then boom! I got it reliably..now I'm wait'n on Akuma..if i cn do Chun's BnB i cn do anything brah..
