its crazy that I just seen this video as I came up with the same conclusion about doing different motions for the EX version and the normal version since the normal version cannon strike doesn't go as low. nice video. Confirmed my theory on this method.
dont think ex shortcut works for season 2. tried it for 10mins. didnt get it once. not even on accident. when i started to go faster and faster i was getting ex cannon spikes some how!? how is that possible with d,db,b,ut, Kx3 ?
ed dale It still works even slowly, I use 2 Kick buttons instead of 3 which will avoid accidental V-Reversal. Try to get the minimal amount of commands for it, as you describe its only 5 commands, so work on getting 5 commands with the least amount of effort. If you're over exerting yourself to no success, take a step back and diagnose yourself on what it could be that's hindering your execution.
tnx for the response..i can now confirm it works. i did start to try and slow it down and be mad precise, as you suggested, and managed to get it a handful of times. still scratching my head why i get ex cannon spikes when i do the input as fast as i can. since im never putting a "down towards" in, this should never be possible.....tnx again ^^
how many frames is this "link"? (not sure what else to call it). the timing on when the kick comes out for the instant EX feels really, really punishing. is it frame perfect?
Its kind of difficult to say, because every persons execution speed is different. I would say for the EX version, once you're above the 1.0 mark line thats seen in the training grid, you can hit the 2 kick buttons

@@pdcsky So does it work in S5? Because I can't. Nevermind, it works. It's just a lot harder to time than I expected.
How do you combo from cannon strike?
