I hate zenyatta it’s a throw pick but you’d be surprised when you see someone who knows how and when to heal and deal damage, I was playing as a Moira, the whole game I’ve been healing with no damage and still got a silver medal.. got out-healed by a dude with 8 big ass testicles
One problem I have is when I play Rein nobody ever helps me out. Such as the countless times I get solo killed by a dps Moira because none of the other 5 players behind my shield bothered to look at her, or the times when I decide to take matters into my own hands and charge the flanking dps Moira then get blamed for not having my shield up when they all die

In those situations i would recommend calling out by health packs on the map. For your example i would say "Genji on mini" so if your teammates don't know map call outs they'll at least know where the health pack are.

I like to think of the "die less" tip rephrased as "value your own life more". It's effectively the same thing but it's helped me adjust my mindset in-game. Laurenz Gutmann But is it really because no can hear you or because there's nothing they CAN do (as in: no other ults available, teammates dead, etc)? As a silver support who sees this situation from a bystanders perspective a lot, I can tell you it's usually the latter. It's very, VERY rare that people just don't see their opportunity to attack in these situations, there's usually a different reason nothing happens. I advise you to check out the situation in replay from your teammates perspectives if you're unsure about it.
people in plat cant seem to get a grasp on #4, this is honestly the number one problem I see with low ranked players. People who dislike the game also often do because of how little they focused on themselves.
I was in bronze and silver for a long time. Stopped blaming my teammates and I climbed into gold. I'm sure I can reach plat and maybe diamond once I start fixing my mistakes and watching my replays
RebornJoker In my eyes the problem is, that it is pretty difficult to climb up, if you are stuck in silver. Even if you play pretty good, no one uses game chat or is playing pretty weird. Even if everybody is a decent player, without communication a Zarya ult is always trash.

There are so many extra voice lines you can bind! I recently bound “Fall Back” to Alt+ F and i think it’s useful to communicate to the team to back off and cut our losses

6:16 I once was on a mL7 stream where he said something similar, he said something like "Your role is called support, not healer, if it called support is because you need to support your team, and one way to support your team is by dealing damage" not exactly what he said but more or less. That doesn't mean you should flank as Ana all game, in that case it is better to be a healbot.
I think the best playstyle to start out with is an aggressive playstyle, because you learn to know when to be passive and aggressive. Ex: u dive a Mcree as Genji and get stunned, then killed. Next time, you try to bait out his flash or just keep a distance.

Would you consider a tip video covering what to communicate in each role so I can be a better team player?
Yeah as a support main, I find that dps don't ask for healing very often, while tanks bitch about not getting healing after they break line of sight and go straight into the enemy team.
Gold is actually pretty easy to get to. As soon as i start trying to actually win games i got gold. I had a more cod mindset when i start playing but when i figures out how to actually play Gold was pretty easy. However i can’t get out of gold.
When you enter the game(plat-bronze) and someone quickly type "Join voice chat". There's a 90% chance that person will be the first to be toxic and blame everyone else and keep screaming on the mic that you have to mute them.😆

As a support main who climbed from silver to one win away from diamond (ugh), having the voice line "on my way" has been a life saver for letting teammates know there wont be as much healing if I was picked off early. At low elos when teammates aren't as aware of the kill feed, I used to be flamed super hard about lack of healing when I was just simply not alive to help them. Most of my deaths were preventable with better positioning but it helps to have teammates calm down and play safer while they wait for their healer to come back. Another voice line tip as support would be having "I need help" because only healers or people you're looking at directly will hear the need healing ping

KarQ, you're referencing something I call Resurrection Walk Back. When I first started I died so often I couldn't help but think of it. It affected my picking Bastion versus 76 and Zenyatta versus Lucio. Walking back really eats up chunks of time

3:35 what you said there about a reign who just dives into the back lines and is completely destroyed. Yes. 95% of the time it doesn’t work even when your team follows through. But I knew this one reign who was way too aggressive and kept diving into the back line, but the rest of us because just as Hail Mary because of his confidence. I was the mercy who said “Screw it I’m going in with him.” And would keep him alive as he disrupted the enemy and the rest of our team moved in. Normally if my tank dives like that I’m not gonna give them much support. I’ll throw any throwable healing to keep him disrupting as long as possible, but I usually don’t dive with them. But when I do dive, it’s because I have confidence in that tank. Obtaining trust and inspiring confidence in your team isn’t a very common thing. At least not for me in the lower ranks. But when you find someone like that, you can take on the world
Have you considered a tips video focused on playing with heroes. Maybe like 1-2 micro plays to lookout for when you have a specific hero on your team. Like watching who ball or winston dive or when zen discords someone, or your teammate boops someone out of position.
love the tips especially maximizing uptime. Hower i do think the rein example about playing passive, agressive or calculated is a bit too simple. not that tanking isent complicated but rein job basically is to give you the space you need by pushing or holding a space. I think a hero like genji is more interesting becaue the common conception is that you should flank and get picks on the supports with genji. and that is of course what genji is good at and why you would pick genji over another dps, but you can also play him otherways and most importantly just play the opportunities instead of getting picks all by yourself. you dont need to land a perfect combo with genji if the person you sre jumping take a firestrike to the face first
I don't know if it had been already mentionned here, but a good subject for a future video would be to give 1 "absolute location" per map. I struggled a lot of times to find correct names about specific places, and some maps do not help. It was a nice video by the way

3:35 what you said there about a reign who just dives into the back lines and is completely destroyed. Yes.
95% of the time it doesn’t work even when your team follows through.
But I knew this one reign who was way too aggressive and kept diving into the back line, but the rest of us because just as Hail Mary because of his confidence. I was the mercy who said “Screw it I’m going in with him.” And would keep him alive as he disrupted the enemy and the rest of our team moved in. Normally if my tank dives like that I’m not gonna give them much support. I’ll throw any throwable healing to keep him disrupting as long as possible, but I usually don’t dive with them. But when I do dive, it’s because I have confidence in that tank.
Obtaining trust and inspiring confidence in your team isn’t a very common thing. At least not for me in the lower ranks. But when you find someone like that, you can take on the world
2 tips to improve :

2: have really good internet connection

Have you considered a tips video focused on playing with heroes. Maybe like 1-2 micro plays to lookout for when you have a specific hero on your team. Like watching who ball or winston dive or when zen discords someone, or your teammate boops someone out of position.
These videos really helped me go from high silver to almost diamond! Keep it up

Hower i do think the rein example about playing passive, agressive or calculated is a bit too simple. not that tanking isent complicated but rein job basically is to give you the space you need by pushing or holding a space.
I think a hero like genji is more interesting becaue the common conception is that you should flank and get picks on the supports with genji. and that is of course what genji is good at and why you would pick genji over another dps, but you can also play him otherways and most importantly just play the opportunities instead of getting picks all by yourself. you dont need to land a perfect combo with genji if the person you sre jumping take a firestrike to the face first

I don't know if it had been already mentionned here, but a good subject for a future video would be to give 1 "absolute location" per map. I struggled a lot of times to find correct names about specific places, and some maps do not help.
