thanks for the video Don't have the budget for a dehydrator so it was of value to see that one could use an oven. yeah, I know the video is 2 plus years old, but some techniques stand the test of time.
I definitely like the Jerky gun❤. I'm gonna order one for sure! I'm new to making jerky so I'm using your website and TH-cam to learn how! You definitely know what you're doing! As far as salt goes, salt is not bad for dogs! But to each there own opinion when it comes to salt! My vet says dogs need sodium in their diet and most dog food has it anyways! I enjoy your content and videos! Definitely gonna try some of your recipes 👍❤️ You got new sub 👍❤
Ground jerky will never be extremely chewy. You would have to make long sticks of jerky cut from a beef eye of round roast. Pretty much over dry it so it’s real tough.
Does vacuum packing the jerky make it last longer? I wanted to use it and hoped it would make it last for a few weeks. Would you still need to refrigerate with vacuum packing? Thanks!
Vacuum sealing definitely helps the jerky last longer. If you want it to keep for weeks, I would still refrigerate it after vacuum sealing. If you don’t refrigerate, make sure to keep it in a cool dark place out of the sun, like a cabinet.
I would only keep it about a week in a jar. Since there is no salt or curing salt, it will not keep as long as regular beef jerky. I would keep it in the fridge as well. Definitely out of the sun if not in the fridge.
Ok thank you for the reply. I am having some trouble sourcing a jerky gun here in France, Amazon does them but they seems to come from the US and are quite pricey@@Jerkyholic
To get in there and give it a really good mix. He doesn't want to get that hand dirty and neat under nails etc. Saves time on handwashing so you're not standing they're scrubbing hands. Putting minced beef into a bowl doesn't really make a hand that dirty so give wasnt needed

couldn't be easier. thank you.
How long did you cook in the oven? I think you left that part out of video. Thanks
So it should take anywhere from 3-5 hours to dehydrate. You really have to go by how well it is dried and not by time. Hope that helps!
How do you make it more chewy to keep dog chewing longer

how long can you keep them in a normal jar? Great video by the way

Can you use pork mince and Turkey mince also
Yes you can. Just make sure to heat it to an internal temperature of 165° to prevent bacteria.
TBSP OF CINNAMON OT TSP?
Teaspoon, sorry about that!
Cup
Why cinnamon?
Why not?
Do dogs need “some” salt 🧂 I wonder?
Why do you use a glove? You use your bare left hand to take the beef then put on the glove. You touch everything with that glove.
