- I've always felt that the G.I. Joe comic (A Real American Hero) storyline told the absolute best stories of the franchise. Since the movies can't get it right, I've decided to redo the comics with dialogue, sfx and music.
Issue #22 picks up where #21 left off, with the Joes rebuilding The Pit and Cobra planning a sneak attack.

Nothing captures the horror, irony, and black comedy of war like classic G.I. Joe! I have seen 21, 26 and 27 - and now this one. Outstanding work!

Well done I found your channel by accident I bought GI Joe off the rack as a kid. The comics blew me away.
Your audio mix is off a touch the background music drowns put the dialogue and you may want to slow down the pace a bit at times going panel to panel
But these are really nicely done you may want to post these on Reddit in the gi joe sub redditt I think you pick up a lots of new fans
I also hope you release these in mini movies maybe every 6 issues

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! I would definitely like to do the earlier issues, just have to see how I can work those into my timeframe while I continue with the current storyline in the 20’s.

Well, his name is Rafael Melendez, so he’s some kind of Hispanic heritage. We try our best here to get close to how we think they might have sounded, but at the end of the day, none of us are professional voice actors! Still though, thanks for watching and stay tuned for more!
@@dshay7gamingandcomics Yeah. I understand that, but NYC didn't get a significant Mexican popular until recently. It's all good though because I appreciate the effort that you guys put in. The voice over and sound effects put an interesting and exciting dynamic on a comic that I've read over and over for the past forty years.
I also forgot to add that the sound effects added tension to one of my favorite moments in the comics and that is when Duke and R.B. debuted. That scene was always funny to me because Duke thought he was really doing something with that 1911.
@@corneilusmcgillicuddy Thanks! Yeah, I like to add drama where I can, because I really think the comic storyline is so good, and much more realistic than the cartoon. But you’re right…Duke’s 1911 was kind a joke matched up against Roadblock’s 50 cal! 😂
