- UBE MOCHI using Tapioca Flour
1 cup tapioca flour
1/4 cup sugar
2/3 cup water
UPDATES / NOTES ON THE KNEADING PROCESS:
Tapioca flour is not recommended to be eaten raw, make sure to stir fry it on a non stick pan under low heat until slightly yellowish and doesn't taste raw anymore or you can replace it with milk powder or soy bean powder.

I just made it! Omg it tastes sooo good the dough is so stretchy and chewy and I stuffed nutella in it instead of ube. It turned out perfect my family loved them too, I will make more to give away to my friends!!❤❤

@@Sassy_roses I tried using tapioca pudding tapioca and it worked but still had some hard bits in the middle. I froze some and was even better. Did the starch work for you?
@@StockHeightChevy603 the starch I used turned out yummy I love mochi so for me but if U don't like it Chewy then U might not like it. But yes it did work for me

Quick question, can you use rice flour? Also is it safe to eat the mochi because raw tapioca starch and flour is poisonous if raw..
