Almost one year looking for how to make a tapioca flour for that flatbread. You really ended my long journey. Thank you very much. This video is already on my playlist.
hi if i have leftovers of the mixture, should i store it as a powder? if yes, where should i put it? or should i cook it first then store it? thanks for the amazing video, you should have a cooking show on tv! 🫶🏻
First try was fun, I ended up getting silly with the amounts of water to make and play with oobleck and slowing adding more flour until it came together. It came out ok, certainly will need some practice to get it right. Cool!!
Wow, this recipe is fantastic, I came upon it accidentally as I wondered what to make out of my bag of tapioca, which I bought as an experiment. I much prefer gluten-free food and I love flatbreads as they are a quick and convenient way to get a home-made gluten-free bread. You are very entertaining to watch! Like the music as well! I live in the UK but I was a member of Santo Daime so I love the Brazilian Portuguese language and songs. I used to listen to Milton Nascimento which shows my age lol but I don't know any contemporary singers. Could you recommend anyone interesting?
Im glad you found me and enjoyed my videos! Check ou Pamela Fom, she sings in London a lot, wonderful woman and the songs from my videos if from her!! ❤
Hi I have a problem. I was trying to make Brazilian cheese bread . I made it once before but remember that tapioca flour had a different texture then the one I used now. I bought this one in international market and package said massa para tapioca . I think I got the wrong flour. What do I do with this one ? Can I do cheese bread with this kind of flour ?
Nati I have a question. I just bought Tapioca starch for the first time and I try adding as little water as possible but it is VERY sticky like glue. It's almost impossible to mix it with my fingers. And then when I add even just a little too much water it turns completely into liquid. What am I doing wrong? Also, is your pan non-stick? I only have a cast iron pan. Can I use butter so it doesn't stick? What other foods can I make with Tapioca?
@@sabrinakellensouzasilva1383 how can I cook tapioca without a non-stick pan? I tried to bake it in the oven with water and it just ended up being super gummy and I couldn't eat it
well, the way I used to make it without a non-stick pan was to make sure the pan was dry, with not even a drop of water on it, and waayyy clean (so clean u can almost see your reflex on it). But still, not always would work. A non-stick pan is the ideal
Yes, it is possible, the temperature of the stove is tricky as well. Start with medium flame and a thicker pancake to feel the dough better. You will get there :)
Hi Linda! No! You cannot add butter or oil on the pan, the on needs to be dry. You can add on top of the pancake once the tapioca starch starts getting firm. Yes! You can make a pizza!!! I wouldn’t add too much sauce tho. Be aware that the tapioca is soft, if you want to be crunchy, just leave longer on the pan to dry out more. :) let me know how it works!! ;)

Refreshing to hear it be called "starch" and not flour. Flour and starch are not the same thing.

Yes! Tapioca is perfect for anytime

@@sabrinakellensouzasilva1383 is there at all any other way to cook tapioca?
@@PinkCampfireWell, u can make a cuscuz de tapioca but then you'd have to use granulated tapioca instead of the starch.
do you grease the pan?
No, dry pan ;) enjoy
Thank you for the recipe, i wanted to ask if it can be used the next day.
Yes. Keep the mix of tapioca and water in the fridge!
The pancake itself isn’t nice when gets cold.
pure tapioca is very healthy
Yes… isn’t nice to eat by itself!!
What's that awesome plant in the background, my darling?
Because I bought in The Netherlands I only found the name in Dutch Paradijsvogelplant
It’s a mini one of there ;)
@@HungryNati Obrigada, my dear! Tried to learn about Tapioca and ending up shopping for plants :)
@@HungryNati thank you ! Also how long does the starch stay good in the refrigerator if made in large amounts?
You can talk and work ❤
Hahaha

Is better you just put on the pan and put some cheese and bacon here on Brazil we do that and is amazing
And put some butter in the pan before put the tapioca is soo good
A pessoa faz como ela quiser
In Cuba it's called casabe
Cool!!!
