The layering can happen if the spool is turned. The spool cannot rotate evenly because the axle does not slide on bearings. I had the same issue on my Anet A8 and fixed it with an new spoolholder :)

Hi! sorry I have a question? about the printer 3D anet E4, I just bought one and assembled it but it cant go home level especially Z axis and I watched your video I noticed the level sensor doesnt light when it closes the glass bed? I wonder if the sensor is damaged bcz I tried to adjust it but it does not react. thanks in advane.

Enjoyed this and a very good review, and you have a new sub. Stumbled across your site as I was looking at so many 3D printer reviews and I possibly have it down to two. Yet so much jargon and understanding on what makes a decent printer in 2021.
My question for you sir, between the upgraded Biqu B1 which uses a steel printer base, and this Anet 4 Pro with glass. They both cost around the same in price, either Banggood or Amazon.ca. Therefore, which would you recommend for a first time beginner and TIA?

Really enjoyed your video. I would like to add a few things that I found using this printer. First and foremost, place it on a solid surface! not a rickety coffee table. Second, those glass surface clips, turn them upside down so there's nothing to catch the nozzle when it whizzes around leveling. Third, ensure the black leveling screws are tighter than what they are initially set at, one of mine fell off during a print.
Buy quality filament!! my cheapie keeps fracturing.

Good videos, especially your first Anet review.
I’m actually going to hopefully get my Anet back to working order, after waiting on a main part (the hot end block was dead on arrival, also the worst CS I have e ever seen, not a single reply from them)
Great video as well, but can i just give some of my personal tips my 5year plus experience with creative machines may help with, especially on your bed levelling, was really bad for the beginner.
The main and very important thing, I really recommend to Just do the manual with the wheels.
I don’t know if you were aware that you were doing offset on the fly and on the auto bed levelling.
I have to say considering the rest of your video was excellent this was not very good information , especially for beginners.
In my opinion of over 5 years experience, always go with manual using the wheels, on first set up, especially with no bottom Z stop, which btw is a very strange one to me.
    Couple of
    More tips....
the stringing, try your temperature of your hot end, PLA, can print at 195, never over 205 tbh, my PLA settings, are always 205 H.E, and 50 bed.
Another big thing people don’t realise again PLA, can print with no bed heat at all. But around 50 is ok
Anyway sorry to Hijack your post.
You may also want to do a beginner Slicr set up and settings, as I beginner wil have no clue how to get your prints even onto the memory card.

Do you want to print flexibles ? If yes, Genius. Care about noise ? If yes, Genius. Same for heated bed (AC speed). Only issue i have with the genius is that the layering is not super tight/consistent, dimension always spot-on however.

Hey can anyone tell me if this is better than the elegoo neptune 2 ? Thank you

    • @MenemonGamer
      @MenemonGamer 2 ปีที่แล้ว

To be honest is not I had to spend like 4 days to get it to print right, Elegoo Neptune 2 is way easier to update and add mods to it which there are a lot of mods for it also you can do bigger prints on the Elegoo

Please somebody tell me how to change the tension on the extruded for this printer.
Had one for 2 days, can not for the life of me fix clicking extruded.
And believe me guys, 5 year veteran printer, I’ve tried everything.
Weird thing, it printed to 2 test files on card..., but now , nope click, click , click .... driving me insane .
    Any help greatly appreciates

This might not help but I thought I'd chime in anyway. The z-axis concentrics on mine were pre-tightened in an odd manner: the one on the right was super tight and the one on the left wasn't even touching the frame. Foolishly I didn't check, but this was causing it to sag to the right which meant it was too close to the bed with each z increment, this led to clicking, and eventually a blocked nozzle, despite it printing things reasonably OK. After sorting out the tension on those and replacing the nozzle it now seems fine, no clicking or bad prints.

      @@AshleyMillsTube thanks man..
Sad thing is my whole hot end is proper dead after much messing.
Auto just stopped working, and yup it blocks all the time.
I need a complete new hot end kit, but after buying this new last week, skint, and still waiting for them to get back to me.
But I’ll check your answer to 👍

@@CrankyGamersUK sorry to hear that. I kinda wish I'd bought an ender 3. It's just in theory with the glass bed, leveling sensor, and touchscreen, as well as the overall construction this has a lot of potential. hope you manage to get your issues sorted out
