    I suggest when doing…manual or auto level and when setting the the Z ( nozzle) height above bed..the adjusting the sensor in Setting, that all should be carried out with the bed heated at whatever you use when printing. Also take not PLA bed 50 or 60 is good. If in a hot humid country, the ambient room temperature should be taken into account and adjust bed temp accordingly.

    Man I was having a time with mine. Bought some silicone spacers to use instead of the springs. Works a treat. Then used a spare PEI sheet I had laying around. Coupled with your Cura settings that I imported to Prusa slicer, it's printing like a champ. Thank you.

    I've had my ET4 for a month and I'm STILL fighting with it. I've read so many articles and fixes etc but it doesn't seem to fix my issues. Tomorrow when I'm less frustrated I'm going to try your tips
    I have heard of some ppl having issues with the sensor (me included). If I get the bed manually levelled, do I have to autolevel? That's when it smacks into the bed.

    Good day)
    Have you had problems with your Z-axis sensor?
    I keep adjusting it but it won't adjust and tries to go under the table.

    Hello sir. I have this exact Anet ET4 3D Printer. However, I have issues when printing.
    1. In the Prepare setting: the 4 bed positions, only moves to the Homing Position. I tried to manually move the X and Y axis but ultimately it will auto move to the Homing Position still.
    2. Z axis height: Once I set the height correctly when start printing, I notice in the second time printing the Z height moved up alittle each time.
    Would you kindly tell me what are the solutions to these?

    Nice video. I am still new on this field and planning to buy Anet ET4 for a start. I have some questions and hopefully you don't mind to answer them 😃 Thanks in advance
    1. Do I have to worry about electric bill?
    2. Is there any heating issue? Any tips about room temperature?
    3. How about the noise?

      Welcome to the world of 3D printing.
      1. The wattage for this printer and the other common printers with heated bed are the same
      2. So far no over heating issues. Just make sure the printer is a in a stable temperature room for better print quality
      3. Noise is average. Not as quiet as the Ender 3 V2.

      What colour is it ? But usually 200 is perfect. So try some prints and then dial in accordingly. Congratulations on your purchase

    Hi.
    Can i use 1.1.7 fw on ET4 which doest have auto leveling sensor. I have now the first 1.10 version. I m wondering will my ET4 start to go home at bottom? as i have stock senor on z axis only at the top. Do i need end switch hardware modification if i upgrade to 1.1.7 fw as it will start to go home to the bottom or it will still go to the the top at home position. I dont want to use any auto level function but want to use M503 and other gcode to setup estep calibration which only supported by the 1.1.7fw.
    Thanks

    Good Video! Thanks for sharing. I just bought a Anet ET5 and watching your video I realized taht you paste the black printer base between the hot bed and the glass....can I print directly over the black base or should I use the glass always? Today I did some tests printing over the glass but I got the warping effect :( any suggestion friend? thanks!!

    • @KakiDIY
      @KakiDIY  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Manually set on CURA. 35mms and still clicking? Something is wrong with either the nozzle or the filament it self I think. I’ve printed faster speeds with no issues

    i see your manual Bed Level but u didnt use a paper to measure it? do i miss somethings here?

    • @KakiDIY
      @KakiDIY  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes correct . This is not a final complete bed leveling, i eyeball the nozzle distance (need some practice) to the 4 extreme corners to make sure it's leveled before applying the auto bed leveling.
      Best to use a paper to be sure.

    my experince with anet wasnt great.. after 4 months the cooler fan for the nozzle wasnt running anymore after about 5 months the other fan startet to make strange noises and i wrote the seller, the seller sayd its normal 5 months is a long time for a printer i should buy a new one anet doesnt respond to any of my questions to let the printer repair the seller refused to repair it... never gonna buy a anet again

    • @KakiDIY

      Yeah the stock fan seems to be subpar. And tends to get dust + small filament pieces stuck in them... maintenance needed.
