    Ill probably be doing this soon to my saturn 2 I've done the mono 4k and mono 2 easy as pie them being Already done for you there great to replace so quick n easy!.im charging the PFA on my saturn 2 soon, i have been following some testing someone's doing changing the PFA out for normal FEP it's working great for him and solved all of his issue's he's been having and its getting more print success and better bed adhesion it's interesting to say the least so might try it when changing out my PFA soon the PFA is ment to perform alot poorer than just FEP that i find really interesting as to why these aren't fitted already then eh?! • @TheCreativeCollector
      @TheCreativeCollector  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I guess it's possible but most of the time when your prints don't stick to the plate, it's because you need to up your exposure times. You can also scuff the build plate with some fine grit sandpaper so it can stick that way.

  • @MatthewSemones

    not sure about your printers but my Elegoo Saturn S will fail massively if I don't use a spacer when installing a new fep. the fep will just be too tight and not flex enough to release the layers. found this out the hard way. went back to using a spacer and problem solved. this of course is just my printer in particular and may not be as critical on other models.

  • @sbr-synrosimbugracing9338
    @sbr-synrosimbugracing9338 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I think people use spacers because the manufacture's tell you to in the FEP instructions. If they don't need spacers, they should just say it in the instructions. I use a spacer that Elegoo said to use and I have had no issues. Of course their fb group has tons of people that are having ripping issues and using all sorts of different spacers. Could be the brand of FEP you use or it really doesn't matter.

    Maybe it’s just me. But I feel like people are way to afraid of touching resin. I get resin on me quite frequently. It doesn’t burn. I can’t even tell it’s on me unless I c it. I looked at the SDS sheet for what I use. All of the harmful effects are only level 1. Which mainly means as long as it not excessive over extended periods of time. It’s really not that harmful. Now some people might be more sensitive to it. I’m not say don’t be safe. But everyone acts like it’s hydrochloric acid. Maybe some resins are more harmful than others. But I know how to read an SDS. I was more concerned about long exposure to the vapor. I use a large carbon filter in my room. Only because I’m in here for long hrs at a time.
