Ey, guys! I know everybody has a different definition for "Budget" but we can all agree it's not a pro camera, right? Or is it...? 🤔😄 Enjoy and thanks for watching! 👊🏻💥
Great job man, really inspiring to see it from the ‘budget’ end that high end looking product can be created with stuff you can find at home. Brilliant 👏🏻
I just got my M50 today. It's my first camera! Not super experienced with making videos but I'm slowly learning and super excited to see some quality videos from the camera! Great commerical btw!
This is so great! Your commercial looks like it was totally shot on a higher end camera! You have inspired me...Do you think you can get great results with the kit lens or a 50mm?
Ah, man, this is Awesome! That commercial you created is SWEET (pun intended)! I luv how far you are taking the M50, showing us some of what can be done with this awesome camera. Thanks so much, Joris! ☮️ You're Super Talented
Hi Joris. This is so cool!!! This Music is so. nice! Lighting is everything. I have to practis it. You are y inspiration . Best wishes from Austria. Tim
Aahhhh I just got my M50 can't wait to make some awesome stuff like this. Love your work man it helped me decide to get this camera and I am grateful 🙌🏻
Great Lesson!! All shot at 60fps?? Some seems to move at regular speed. Was that a 24fps timeline? Hard to tell what I'm looking at in regards to fps and timeline speed.
Using a record player for a photography motorized turntable is a great idea. A lot of the affordable photo motorized turntables are poorly made and don't last long.
@@JorisHermans thanks 🙏🏼 also I was wondering if you recommended a picture profile to shoot in? I shoot in s-log2 on my sonya7iii but sometimes for broll and low light shoots I get a lot of noise and banding. Even when the iso is 800 and exposed. Would you recommend any picture profile ? Thanks :) ps love the channel
@@JorisHermans Of course Joris, my all time favorite of yours is the pirate one. I gotta apply a few of those techniques to my work. I shoot with an iphone and try to do creative videos like this once in a while on my channel from the inspiration and learning I get from creators like you! So keep it up man cause I appreciate your work! 👏🏼🤩
Great tip! I used real ice for my pirate rum commercial from a while back and it looks better but it was a pain in the ass to work with 😅 This is a great solution 🙏🏻
Thank you for your videos! I’ve been learning so much; and it’s genuinely appreciated! Here’s a question for you: did you know you wanted to use that music for this particular video? Or do u edit to the music? Does make sense? It’s an awesome video;and love the music choice for it.
Well, I edit the shots to the music but I also edit the music if that makes sense. I used a part of the beginning of the track and the end of the track. In this video, there’s a few seconds where the music stops but even if there wasn’t , you can always paste different parts of the music together.
Really cool Video! I‘m always surprised what you get out of this cam. I also use an m50. I have a question. Would you use an Audio recorder or Plug in the microphone directly. I have a rhode ntg-4 and i found it still very noisy...:-/
I wana make 1 just to try! Get me s22 ultra tomarrow! And I'm creative. I know I can do it, thanks for the video, BTW I think yours was better than his! But they both are amazing
I’ve been struggling trying to key spinning objects on a turn table (like a can, for example) and removing the background completely. I can’t seem to get a clean key, so I’ve been rotoscoping the objects in fusion, frame by frame, and it’s driving me insane. There’s gotta be a way to mask/key/remove the background from these spinning objects, right? Any help or suggestions from anyone would be super appreciated!
Ey, guys! I know everybody has a different definition for "Budget" but we can all agree it's not a pro camera, right? Or is it...? 🤔😄 Enjoy and thanks for watching! 👊🏻💥
Hey, which ice did you use? There are many types of fake ice on Amazon 🤔
The video shows me once again: not the technology gets the prize but the mind behind 👍🏻😁 cool stuff 💪🏻
I'm new to this stuff but falling in love with film making. Keep the videos coming, you're doing great work!
Thanks, Benjamin!
I got an m50 2 weeks ago. Still in auto mode but these videos have given me the confidence to try other settings lol. Great video
Go for it, man! And if you have any questions, you know where to find me 😎👊🏻

This is so great! Your commercial looks like it was totally shot on a higher end camera! You have inspired me...Do you think you can get great results with the kit lens or a 50mm?
Yep, should be no problem! The only “problem” you’ll have with the kit lens is that you’ll need more light as it’s only f/3.5 wide open.
YEY! New Subscriber here. GREAT Tutorial Video.

Hi Joris.
This is so cool!!! This Music is so. nice! Lighting is everything. I have to practis it. You are y inspiration . Best wishes from Austria. Tim
Love the idea! I would say its so much about the lighting setup and without it, it would not be as impressive. Really well done. Learned a lot!
Wow you deserve a lot more subscribers man! You inspire me!
Now I feel the need to shoot a commercial with my m50
Exactly what I wanted to achieve 😄💥
Literally watched 2 ads full both 2 minutes of each just to help you .. keep the videos coming joris 💯
Wait... are you telling me there are 2 minute UNskippable ads? 🤨🤔🤯
Nah .. i mean it was skippable .. it was my choice not to skip so that it helps you ... Your videos are really helping me 🤘
Ah, ok! Got it. Thanks, man! 💥👊🏻 2 minute unskippable would be so crazy 😅
Fellow m50 lover! Sure there are better cameras out there. But for youtube, this is MORE than enough. Great job!
Dude your videos get even better every single time a new one comes out! This was actually insane!!!

Really nicely done. Loving your channel.
Now this is what I wanted to see! More of these videos with the M50, please! Although, all your videos are great!
Thanks, Dennis! 💯👊🏻
Great Lesson!! All shot at 60fps?? Some seems to move at regular speed. Was that a 24fps timeline? Hard to tell what I'm looking at in regards to fps and timeline speed.
Yeah, except for the first shot everything shot in 60fps and slowed down to 40% on a 24 timeline.
Really cool 👍
Wow ! I am inspired! Thanks 🙏
You are so welcome, Abhishek! 💥

I had to click, saw the short. I saw some1 else do this.. can wait for this 1, wow
I bought an M50 just because of you. you should get a commission! great video, sympathetic guy! :D
👊🏻💥🙏🏻
Good good good video man. I like your contents. How long did it take to you in filming and then editing?
Shoot and rough edit in a day. Then the next day a few hours to finish the edit and do an extra shot.
The colour grade on this is insane 😳 is it just water you spray the van with ? Or a mixture with glycerin?
Just water! You have to be careful and re-spray a few times for each shot but it works 👌🏻

My dad would kill me if I dropped ice and water on our turntable...
😄 The ice is fake... I did spill a bit of cola on the record but it's not one of my favorites 🤷🏻♂️😉
whats that song at the start, like during the ad? i've heard it before but i don't know it's name
