Just so you know, for kicks I made a video for a local distillery using the turntable after watching this vid, and they dug it, so now I’ve been doing spots for their social media! I have YOU to thank for that gig 👊🏾
you probably dont give a damn but does anybody know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account? I was stupid lost my password. I would appreciate any help you can give me.
@Louis Kyler I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and im trying it out now. Seems to take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
. I mistakenly ordered for sigma 16mm Sony e-mount lens on Amazon for my canon M50 . Pls what kind of adapter do I need to use the lens on my canon M50. Thanks.
it's really cool to see the results you can get just in your attic with not too much gear. this commercial deserves a full series explaining all the different parts
@@JorisHermans nice. btw, I'm one of your suscribers from the documentary photography days.. I get you changed the direction of the channel but just so you know, if feel to make some documentary photo videos, they'll be more than welcomed by a few of us :)
I totally remember you! Yeah, I’m just having so much fun making videos cause I’m learning so much. I think after ten years of constantly pushing myself to become a travel/documentary photographer, I just got burnt out. But that doesn’t mean I don’t like it anymore... the inspiration will come back! 💯💥🙏🏻
VERY NICE SHOT & EDUCATIONAL for Video shooters. JORIS, I have a suggestion, for the TURNING of the Record Player Platter, you can TAPE a String onto the side of the Platter, at about 135 degree from your Camera position, then you can just PULL the String as SLOW/FAST as you want! Which will keep your hands out of the frame, and seems like it would be much easier. I sure enjoy your Videos, they are delivered very well, Creative, and are inspiring. THANKS for taking time share.
This is class! Found your videos maybe a month ago and have enjoyed some of your tutorials and walk throughs a lot. Can we get a walk-through of your audio design for this video please as I think the audio really makes the final result pop?
dude, I love it! very professional! love the light leaks transitions as well - fits perfectly with the color scheme - but... what effect did you use for the smoke? looks super awesome!
Welcome dude! I like your tutorial! Impressive! I'm a beginner for making a video ' that's why I need your advice and tricks to make a quality video same like yours!!
Hi Joris!! In the second 0:18 there is a small mystake with the sound. You started the sound of the liquid falling before it really touch the glass. Otherwise, great job! Love your work Greetings from Andorra (the small country)!
Actually, I did that on purpose because when I poured the rum, that distinct "glu-glu-glu"-sound came before the rum came out... Maybe I shouldn't have done it like that in the final video because it might indeed sound like a mistake... 🤷🏻♂️😊 But thanks for the feedback and for watching!
@@JorisHermans OK, now I see what you were searching! In my mind this sound of "glu-glu-glu" comes from the bottom of the bottle when it's much tilted. Maybe because of that my brain took the sound as the sound of the liquid falling into the glass. However, the video looks great. Love the work made with the lights and rotation of the bottle, and really cool colour grading! Small details like the digital smoke and the light leaks gives the video a really professional look.
Ik moet voor een opdracht voor mijn video opleiding een productshot maken over rum, kwam ik toevallig jou video tegen! Leuk gedaan! En goede uitleg, je hebt er een volger bij ;)
Thank you very much! This gave me a good amount of inspiration for trying something like this by myself! You missed to answer one important question, though! How's the rum? Any good? 😁

Hey, Bram! Waar volg je de opleiding?
@@JorisHermans syntra leuven ;) is gewoon een jaaropleiding voor de basis. Verdere tips en tricks haal ik van youtube zoals dit!
I am new to video why your 120 fps shutter is 250 instead of 240?
Just a camera thing... lots of hybrid cameras (photo + video) only allow shutter 250... but it's pretty much the same thing.
NICE! did you use your M50? what lens?
No, for this video I used my R5 + 35mm.
Thank you very much! This gave me a good amount of inspiration for trying something like this by myself!
You missed to answer one important question, though! How's the rum? Any good? 😁
It's very good. Maybe a tad too sweet for my usual taste but delicious...! 😊
