    I just installed these on my wife's 2015 Yukon Denali and so far so good. No codes or errors throwing and new shocks are working great @ 100 dollars instead of 1,500 dollars. Great product so far.

    Hello i have a 2017 yukon denali I wanna make the delete of the mageride On the 4 shocks but i just wanna keep the rear air ride which kit do i need.
    I’m thinking on use AC DELCO front shock WITHOUT magnetic and rear shock WITH air ride but NOT magnetic

      Use Monroe 139104 in the front and any of the non-mag autolevel AC Delco Shocks in the rear.

    I have a 2020 GMC RPO 6MP. Is this compatible for the front? I don’t see anything on your website for 6MP

    • @xineering
      @xineering  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      RPO 6MP outlines a suspension group and not necessarily a style of adaptive/active suspension. You are looking for a Z45 or Z95 code.
      What model is your 2020 GMC?
      If it is a 2020 Sierra with Z45 - ADAPTIVE RIDE CONTROL SUSPENSION, then you will need to follow our TH-cam video outlining how to bypass the active suspension solenoids for FREE.
      If it is a 2020 Yukon/XL with the Z95 then you can use this kit (or our OBD/SS) to bypass it.
      Checkout this GM Tech link describing the new QR code / RPO information.
      gm-techlink.com/?p=9801
      Thanks!

      @@xineering Denali vin: L

    • @xineering
      @xineering  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@morr2010 Is your Denali a Sierra or Yukon? Based on our last comment that will tell you what solution will work for you.
      But to go further to be 100% sure.
      Did you get the RPO list from the QR code as shown in the article?
      We can't identify RPO listings from VIN composition.
      Where is the 'L' located in your VIN?
      10 position = Year = '2020'
      5th position = Series = 2500 Fleet/Base
      If it is in the 10th position that just says it is indeed a 2020, if it is also in the 6th position you have a 2500 series truck that does not have active suspension.
      Thanks again and we look forward to helping.

      100% correct.
      If you just replacing the shocks we recommend our OBDSS module.
      See OBDSS module (TH-cam Video) it is the easiest way to bypass the OEM magneride.
      Siimply unplug your stock shocks, plug it into the OBD port and power plug behind the brake pedal and you're good to go.
      This particular kit is for vehicles that have an extreme lift (+6") or lowering (-4") and the ride height sensors are being removed from the chassis.
      www.ShockSims.com has a video explaining the different between the two.

    I put Dorman Struts Magnetic on 2008 Escalade. After it’s driven a while, the service traction control light comes on. If I bypass to fool the computer, will my magnetic front struts still operate like they should?

    • @xineering
      @xineering  ปีที่แล้ว

      We do not sell a product for the 2008-2014 Trucks or SUVs, and we have no experience with that strut. But, any bypassing that is done to simulate the shock will not allow the shock to operate.
      As for the message:
      The 'Service Traction Control' light might be related to a lift or lower kit. A service message related to the magneride would say 'Service Suspension'. Can you scan the vehicle with a diagnostic tool? What kind of DTCs are you getting?

  • @justinadams543

    Will I need a set for the rear if I’m still keeping the rear factory and only changing the front to regular shocks!

    • @xineering
      @xineering  ปีที่แล้ว

      If the factory suspension is staying in the rear, you will only need a Half Kit for the front, a ride height trim procedure is also recommended.
      The rear will have a high chance of failure, it will sound like a knocking when going over bumps.
      We suggest going with the OBD/SS.
      Link to the product:
      www.shocksims.com/valuemeals.html#!/OBD-SS/p/413421160/category=0
      The OBD/SS will not require you to touch the height sensors at any corner and lives safely in the vehicle.
      It will also bypass the rear when the time comes to replace them.

    • @xineering
      @xineering  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      What vehicle (year/model) do you have? I will assume truck or SUV for this reply.
      If you want a better ride you will need new struts (front)/shocks (rear). Start with replacing the front pair of struts.
      We rarely see failed rear shocks, so unless you know for a fact the rears are bad and leaking leave them alone.
      NOTE: Bypassing the magneride control with our kit will remove the ability of the SCM (Suspension Control Module) to make adjustments to your struts/shocks. You can do that now by simply unplugging your shocks (2 pin connectors) and driving around to see how it rides without the SCM connected to them. You will have a service suspension light (and 80 mph speed limiter) while they are disconnected, but that will go away when you plug them back OR install our kit. But again, we would not expect a better ride from bad shocks with or without SCM interaction.

      Pre 2015 vehicles this can work in certain cases.
      Unfortunately, 2015+ Suspension Control Modules (SCM) are significantly more powerful. With more sophisticated calibrations, these modules can wipeout a simple resistor within a couple miles. Our two component system allows for a fully simulated magneride suspension, keeping the powerful SCM happy and the dashboard free of messages.
