Had a 1987 years ago, put 19k hours on it when the clock stopped, and ran it for 2 yeats after before we sold it. Had to have close to 22k hrs on it. Was a great machine. Bought a new one in 99 sold it 3 yrs later with 3k hrs was a heap of trouble
yours looks strikingly similar to mine. except it's not enclosed by glass but it doesn't have heat or A/C. stabilizer legs swing out, instead of being vertical. rack & pinion slew. adjustable hoe position. it's a 1988 Sightmaster, cable actuated 4wd engagement, manual trans shifter with syncro-shuttle. the hinge pins (or bushings) are as worn as mine, if not a tad more worn. that's why it has so much lash in the linkages. otherwise fairly solid machine.
I have exactly the same machine. '88 black cab. All of the extras. It is way too useful around the property to get rid off. And you have to be stupidly ridiculous not to buy one. I'd love to see a restoration on this baby. 😉👍
@@masseyman265 Mine is non turbo which is fine because it only helps doing motorway mileage which, let's be honest, you're never going to be doing in that machine because it's a f**king death trap out on the roads.😆👍
@@franciswalsh6783 The alarm is making that noise for to tell you to turn off the key but if you turn off the key while the engine is running you will lose drive so to turn that alarm off you have to rev the engine up a bit and it will stay off but i didn't rev it up

Yes older ones where bomb proof and would stay going to they fell apart

That buzzer sound would drive me crazy
It turns off when you rev it up after you start it but i didn't rev it up so it stayed on
