    Thanks you ! I just bought the same model, a JCB 3CX Turbo 4x4 from 1990 with all same options. I'm not a professional and watching your videos help me a lot to see what stuff I can do and how to do it !

      Fantastic! And thank you for watching the videos, I'm glad you have been able to get something from them to help you with your purchase. You will have the rear axle with hub reduction, not sure if that is better or not but the rest will be the same! Should make a very good machine for you if in good working order 👍

      Hey Peter, thanks for the comment! 👍 I REALLY hope they are making a come back, I dont see it looking around Yorkshire, maybe in the next few months I will have that much work for the 3CX that I will have to turn it away haha 🤣😆 Yeah that old 3C rear wheel, I dont need it for anything, I did smile when I saw it, made me wonder where the rest of the machine is now?? 👍

    Excellent job tiding up that dump. I'm sure I spotted an old JCB rear wheel in there somewhere ? Probably off an early JCB from the 1960's Fordson unit used at the time.

      Ha - Yes the old 3C wheel, I spotted that too and thought the same, wonder if the machine that it once rode down the road with is still alive and where it may be?

      Hey Darren, Yes very powerful machine for its age, keeps up with the much newer backhoes, and great fun operating it too, always makes me smile. As for fuel, about the same as the newer stuff, some roading and working for the day be between 10-15gal depending on how hard we pushing 💪💪💪

    Hi Paul when i did plant hire many years ago with a ford 655 special on jobs like this i always made the customer aware if there was a puncher they would have to pay for the repair or I would take it on as a price job and the price would reflect this

    • @PSExcavationsLLC
      @PSExcavationsLLC  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Nick, Yes I do the same, price job or on hire, the customer pays the repair bill, The key is to have a good look at the ground condictions and go from there, sometimes its worth having a scrape first!
