Filtering...can be dicey.......I had the 1150GS fully laden with the wife on the back on the way to France many yrs ago.......on the M25 nr Heathrow.......all lanes stopped and we were tiptoeing along between lanes 3 and 4......just passing a HGV.....halfway along the side of it when the driver stepped out from in front of it.......b hell!!.........he soon stepped back again, and somehow I managed not to topple over and to avoid "leaning " into the car on my right!! We all have our moments, some lucky, sometimes unfortunately not - and there can't be many bikers who have never dropped a bike either. Ride safe both. Steve
Thanks Steve! You’re absolutely right, filtering can be very dicey 😱 I find it the most mentally demanding kind of riding. When Sue dropped her bike I told her that not only has every rider done it at some time but over the years I reckon I’ve probably dropped my bikes at least 12 times 🥺!
On Spoonerism's the finest I have heard was from about 1987 when the Houses of Parliament were first open to cameras and when a Times Newspaper reporter was asked what he thought of he replied ' well, as Pro. Spooner would say 'it was a fine example of Shining Wit' Sums it up really. cheers Neil

You should have gone up to the Horseshoe Pass, only a few miles from Llangollen and had a coffee at the Ponderosa, a bikers café and fantastic views. The roads are so much better when the tourists are not here. Great video again. Zip World is good

Great video, but, of course I'm biased as I live in Mold, North East Wales and you were riding roads I've ridden for years. Next time you are in the area I'll buy you a drink and show you some of the lesser travelled roads. Although you didn't do bad with the Tanat Valley road from Llynclys to Bala.

No probs, I happened to come across your 1st episode of the Dales so subscribed after that and then saw Snowdonia so watched that as I love riding in Wales. Looks like I've got a bit of a back catalogue to get through LOL
Harlech is home to the steepest road in Britain! Stay off the motorways, it isn't that much faster - I clocked it from Shoreham seafront to home in Uttoxeter (near Alton Towers). Using the mways Zumo gave me a time home. I turned off mways and got it to do it again, up through the wooded lanes of w Sussex and through Henley, Aylesbury type of route... the difference was 23 minutes, provided the M23, m25, M40 and M42 weren't clogged up! I have stayed off mways ever since and not noticed much time lost - but enjoyed my 'commuting' far more.

Just at the junction you took by Harlech castle there's a 40% one way hill, downhill only[as so many vehicles were failing to go up it]. the road to the right as you took a left off the main road through the town[not the A road]
The steep hill up to Harlech Castle is well known, as we drove up in our then BMW M235i a couple of years ago we were actually sliding backwards a couple of times, it was a bit scary.
We seem to be killing off our own tourist industry by presenting shoddy accommodation, poor parking facilities and excessive prices.....shame because these isles of ours have some SPECTACULAR scenery. Another great vlog!. P.s. my wife want to know how come Sue never seems to have helmet hair (nor do you for that matter!)

Thanks Laurence! You’re right we did pass spaces but they were on a camber and with traffic on the main road we didn’t fancy stopping to hold up traffic while we reversed in! You live in a beautiful part of the world - just love Wales 🏴! 👍😀
The issue's with filtering (especially on M-ways) is, vast majority of motorists don't know how to use lanes properly or lane positioning!!. Also, most aren't using their door mirrors!!. I've ridden on the M6, on a busy day,.....fecking nightmare.
You’re absolutely right! Filtering is really challenging and exhausting 😳 don’t trust motorists - they generally don’t check their mirrors - you’ve really got to be on your game 😀👍
