In Kansas City I was a dumb 16 year-old kid and this was my first real concert George Thorogood & the Destroyers 08/20/1985 Starlight Theater. One of the best memories ever. My dad dropped me off to see George play.
I was always a fan of his and went band saw him last week. Dude can wait on a guitar and knows how to engage a crowd. Definitely one of a kind in the rock and roll world if you ask me.
I saw George ten times at least. From the geodesic dome in Blowing Rock to the shows with Chuck Berry, Johnny Winter in 1985 till now. HE IS THE DESTROYER!
Love the progression of music over the years. Each adding there feeling and impression of the music that came before them. Yeah even the effect that classical music had on later generations of music. I like it all Except for a lot of rap. Carry on George
It's only been 7 years since this. I bet he can still rock with the best of em. He was 61 here and 68 now. His voice hasn't aged much since his prime and he sounds great! What an awesome, severely underrated, fine example of american rock and roll. Bluesy rock and roll but hey, without country and the blues... there would be no such thing as rock and roll as we know it.
saw George too many times. I want to drink with these two guys. The first time was in 1981, Paris with J.Geils Band and The Rolling Stones see 2011 the Rock Legends Cruise 1
I would pay a lot of money to go see George Thorogood and the Motor City madman Ted Nugent together. now that would be a concert. They seem to have the same mindset. Good musicians and they love rock and roll and they always talk about Chuck Berry. Chuck Berry is the definition of rock and roll and that's the way it is and that's the way it'll always be.

Grande hermano Thorogood sigues siendo un increíble ser humano del Rito; un abrazo desde Santiago de Chile 🇨🇱
A social phenomena 💥
Anyone who can lead on a acoustic is a shredder.
