Another phenomenal idea by her Highness The Domestic Geek...i will definately have to give these a try...never would of thought to do these ever...❤❤❤ it!!
I love these ideas! I'm on the ketosis diet. These would be perfect, because I can definitely make them keto friendly. You just opened a new Window of ideas for me. Thank you so much for this Awesome video!
Your original instant soup in a jar video was my favourite video, im so happy theres now a sequel! I cant wait to try all of these, i love soup so much.
I'm wondering what would be a good alternative to the chicken base to make some of these vegetarian, maybe a crushed up vegetable stock cube would work?
I'm all over this idea for fall 😍. I have been really keen on having not just healthy but really delicious food for at work 👍. I love knowing I have something amazing to look forward to.
Sara Lynn, I just love your puns. They brighten my day. I have to see at least 3 pun-inspired videos to have an awesome day. Keep up the wonderful job. Just pun-tastic.
I absolutely love this idea! I enjoy your channel so very much! I am have made so many of your recipes and have loved every single one. I am going to try your black bean veggie burger recipe this weekend and a few of these soups. Keep up the fantastic work!
Thank you so much for these amazing ideas!!! I just got married and I was already running out of healthy lunch ideas for my husband. I'm definitely going to try these and maybe pack a mason jar salad with it too! 😄
I think I've said this before, but you. are. adorable! I LOVE LOVE how you make everything so simple, but still looks great! Thanks for the awesome videos!!!
You can cut up a cauliflower into smaller sections and then pulse it in a food processor. Then saute it with a little olive oil. It is delicious with fresh lemon juice and fresh chopped parsley but you can flavor it however you like. It is a great replacement for rice. You can also buy it already "riced" in the frozen section or sometimes produce section, but more expensive this way.
It is a wonderful alternative to rice that is simply made by either pulsing cauliflower in your food processor or by grating it with a box grater! You can also find a dried version at many grocery stores now! Here is a direct link in case you want to check it out: amzn.to/2whUEZd
Love the pesto chicken soup, and if you do make the pesto then make a load of it and freeze it in ice cube trays and one cube should be a perfect amount for a single portion of soup
This is awesome! I've been recently diagnosed as type 2 diabetic and I'm always looking for alternatives to high carb meals! Zucchini noodles and cauliflower rice! Why didn't I think of that!?
Yummy! Thank u! I'm going to sub for veggie broth and tofu or veggie meat its going to be so yummy. I'm thinking of making some of these in Tupperware to freeze too, for easy meals once colder weather hits!
Hi! This is actually fresh cheese tortellini so it cooks very quickly. Just pour in the hot water, place the lid on and let it steep for 6-8 minutes. I would not recommend meat tortellini.
Nina Sowah make sure to look at any label that shows if it's safe or not be carful as most glass containers can explode good luck and I hope this was helpful for you☺️
Hi, Thanks for very interesting video. I don’t have such bases in my area and I am not person of powdered soups. Could you share how to prepare such bases (especially chicken) at home? Thanks in advance
I went through some of the comments to make sure this question was asked already so far I haven't seen it... can these we made say on Sunday and stay good in the refrigerator throughout the week?
Awesome!! Love this! I'm gonna check the description but I wonder if you could tell me which size your mason jars are? Do you have an online source for them? I can't seem to get my hands on them very readily in England.
Hi Mandy! It's very similar to the chicken base I used in these recipes so yes, I think it would work :) You may want to add a little at a time to ensure the soup doesn't end up too salty. Let me know how they turn out :)
Does anyone know if a mini crock pot would work for these as well? It's hard to get boiling water at work. Mini crock pots don't "cook" ingredients, but they heat them up well. I wonder if one would overcook these? Thoughts?
Hi Molly! Thanks so much for watching. I think a mini crockpot would work for these :) Because almost everything is cooked already, you really just need to get them hot and get the noodles cooked through. Maybe 30 minutes? If you try it, be sure to let me know how it goes - I'm very interested. Also, you could fill the jar with water and microwave it for a few minutes instead. You really just want to give the veggies a chance to soften up and everything else a chance to heat through. Hope that helps!
+Bhavisha Bhatt Hi! So glad you enjoyed the video :) Both the Mushroom and Tortellini versions can be made with vegetarian base. There's a link below where you can find it.
Holy shit. I was a 9 year old kid, watching you and Joy on GirlzTV and you were helping me navigate the world of young girlhood (It turned out fine!) And now I'm just finding you as an adult, still looking out for me! I will definitely be trying out some new recipes for work. Thanks for everything!
If I were to actually do this I would save tones of money and probably lose some weight while I was at it! Could you do a bento box meal prep (monbento style?)
while I appreciate the innovation, I have a feeling I am more of a traditional soup person XD I like my soup to simmer, and for flavors to develop. As much as I love mason jars, I think I'll skip the soup cups and stick to salad jars ;) (which you have a million recipes for already! so thanks
THIS IS A FANTASTIC IDEA!!! QUESTION....how could I do these if I have to pack my kids lunch in morning....and they have no access to hot water in the afternoon for lunch time??
Hmmm...That is a really good question. You could definitely try a thermos - the texture might be a bit different but I think it would still be tasty. Do they have access to a microwave? If so, they can add water and then heat it up for a minute or two. To be honest, I haven't tried either of these so if you do, please leave me a message and let me know how they turn out so I can share the info :) Thanks so much for watching :)
The Domestic Geek ....thanks for responding!! No...no access to microwave either😔 Thermos I get...but I've had a streak of bad luck with them and just don't think it would keep the water got enough to warm the soup. PERHAPS....a new challenge for the Domestic Geek!!😊
Sorry if this has already been asked . . . is it possible to make these and then freeze them uncooked and pull them out when needed? I'm the only one who would eat this and I'd like to avoid eating the same thing all week but if I make more then one the rest of the ingredients would go bad.
I'm most likely taking all of these to work and I unfortunately can't boil water there. Would microwaving them be just as effective? If so, how long should I microwave it?
What a wonderful idea---instant soup mixes! These all look and sound amazing.
Another phenomenal idea by her Highness The Domestic Geek...i will definately have to give these a try...never would of thought to do these ever...❤❤❤ it!!
This idea is truly original and not just a stock one. Brilliant! No one can say you are a chowder head. You really bowled me over with this one.
I love these ideas! I'm on the ketosis diet. These would be perfect, because I can definitely make them keto friendly. You just opened a new Window of ideas for me. Thank you so much for this Awesome video!
Dina Salinas hey girl hey! Did you find the chicken paste to be low carb?
what on earth is the ketosis diet??
Martine I'll probably just leave them out or add another veggie or meat.
Cattiva SDQ I'm thinking about using just chicken stock or broth.
sims2lovealot it's a healthy high-fat low-carb diet.
Emmy Richards Better Than Bouillon makes a vegetarian and vegetarian chicken base.
Hi Emmy. You can actually purchase Vegetable Base and Mushroom Base too.
Emmy Richards yes

Souperb
:D
This is such an clever idea!!! Love it ❣️
Awesome!! Thanks so much for watching Anita!!
What is cauliflower rice and how do I get it? Sounds like such a handy healthy substitute!

Thanks! I'm definitely going to try it! And it sounds easy
AndYouWillBeWithMe Cauliflower rice is simply grated cauliflower. It is NOT rice. Some stores are selling it in the frozen section.
AndYouWillBeWithMe Rice is NOT unhealthy! Why do so many people think it is??
Your soups are a treasure. Not nationally, universally!
Love the pesto chicken soup, and if you do make the pesto then make a load of it and freeze it in ice cube trays and one cube should be a perfect amount for a single portion of soup
That is a great suggestion!
Such a FUN take on instant soup!
I'm so glad!! I hope you'll give it a try - they're really tasty! Quick, easy and perfect for meal prep!
This is awesome! I've been recently diagnosed as type 2 diabetic and I'm always looking for alternatives to high carb meals! Zucchini noodles and cauliflower rice! Why didn't I think of that!?
I hope you LOVE them! They are really great low carb alternatives :)
I love how creative your recipes are! Will def be trying these :)

These all look WONDERFUL! What size mason jars did you use? Thanks!!!

I totally agree!! I can't wait to share lots of new soup recipes in the fall.
Amazing video. The way you cook these is so original and inspiring. Someone smashed the sub button. Cheers!
Yummy! Thank u!
I'm going to sub for veggie broth and tofu or veggie meat its going to be so yummy. I'm thinking of making some of these in Tupperware to freeze too, for easy meals once colder weather hits!
It looked like the tortellini went in the jar raw. Is that right? How do they cook in the water quickly? They all look delicious btw :)
Hi! This is actually fresh cheese tortellini so it cooks very quickly. Just pour in the hot water, place the lid on and let it steep for 6-8 minutes. I would not recommend meat tortellini.
Thanks for the reply! Ok cheese only :)
The Domestic Geek could you do a video on vegetarian lunch/snack ideas for school? ❤❤
fresh pasta usually cooks under... 2-3 minutes ;) make sure you dont use meat tortelini for this

Is it safe to shake mason jars with hot liquid inside?
Nina Sowah make sure to look at any label that shows if it's safe or not be carful as most glass containers can explode good luck and I hope this was helpful for you☺️
Nina Sowah to be safe just pour the hit water in and stir with a spoon :))

Hi, Thanks for very interesting video. I don’t have such bases in my area and I am not person of powdered soups. Could you share how to prepare such bases (especially chicken) at home?
Thanks in advance
I just finished the one with the chicken and pesto: Delicious!!
Just one (stupid ) question: are you supposed to eat it out of the jar?
You can either shake it up in the jar and eat it out of there or transfer to a bowl!
I went through some of the comments to make sure this question was asked already so far I haven't seen it... can these we made say on Sunday and stay good in the refrigerator throughout the week?
Love these!!
Thank you for sharing. what size are you jars?
Your a star ⭐️
How many ounces are the jars you are using? Thanks.
Hi Susie, these are 8oz mason jars! You can check them out here: amzn.to/2oS1UHe

I'm wondering if the knorr home style stick bouillon would work
Hi Mandy! It's very similar to the chicken base I used in these recipes so yes, I think it would work :) You may want to add a little at a time to ensure the soup doesn't end up too salty. Let me know how they turn out :)
Omg those soups look amazing. I love your recipes. We have very similar tastes in food (minus the quinoa ;) )
So glad you enjoyed the recipes!
Love your ideas!!! More please! :)
Yea. Can you make some vegetarian versions/alternatives?
How about using some couscous, halapeno, jherkins and gravy granules 🤔
That's exactly what I needed!!
That is so great to hear! I hope you're able to try the recipes out!

Does the tortillini cook thro? How long does it take with just hot water for it to cook?
Soup-erior... Love your channel
If I were to actually do this I would save tones of money and probably lose some weight while I was at it! Could you do a bento box meal prep (monbento style?)
For the meal prep reasons how long do these stay good for?
Oh i LOVE your videos😍😁
Thanks so much Nicole!

Would the first one work with regular rice as well?
Could you also just pour room temp water in and microwave it? Love these ideas btw!
Can you make ahead and freeze them in the jars?
You're Amazing!!!
This was pretty sweet
Thanks Joe!
Could you make a vegan option of one of these please?
What size Mason jar do you use?
Instead of zucchini noodles can i use regular cooked noodles?
Yes, for sure :)
word to the wise: be sure your broccoli is already cooked haha I had basically warm raw hard broccoli in mine lol 😅😅
I'm most likely taking all of these to work and I unfortunately can't boil water there. Would microwaving them be just as effective? If so, how long should I microwave it?
Jessyka Ponce I think it depends on your microwave..
Jessyka Ponce boil the water in the microwave
