I'm struggling with a 2018 Dacia Sandero, I know it's a different make but thought you might know how to turn off the service & spanner lights as they're the same company aren't they? Every Dacia video I've looked up hasn't worked.

My Renault scenic 2004 not starting since Thursday after I've changed the battery terminal

I’m sorry to hear that your Renault Scenic is having trouble starting after you changed the battery terminals. Let’s troubleshoot this issue together. Here are some steps you can take:
Check Battery Voltage: First, ensure that the battery voltage is sufficient. A low battery voltage can prevent the engine from turning over. Ideally, a healthy battery should have around 12.6 volts. If it’s significantly lower, consider charging the battery overnight using a proper battery charger.
Inspect Battery Connections: Verify that the battery terminals are securely connected. Loose or corroded terminals can cause starting issues. Make sure both the positive and negative terminals are tight.
Fuse Check: There are fuses on the positive terminal of the battery. These fuses can blow if a battery booster or jump leads are incorrectly connected. Inspect these fuses to ensure they are intact.
Starter Motor: The starter motor is responsible for cranking the engine. If it’s faulty, the engine won’t turn over. Check the positive wire going to the starter to ensure it’s not shorting out anywhere. Also, examine the starter itself for any issues.
Alternator: A failing alternator can lead to a drained battery. If the new battery doesn’t improve matters, consider having the alternator checked. It ensures that the battery gets charged while the engine is running.
Earth Connections: Renault vehicles are sometimes prone to bad corroded or broken earth connections to the engine. Inspect the earth connections and ensure they are clean and secure.
Remember, if you’re unsure or if the problem persists, it’s best to consult a professional mechanic or an auto-electrician. They can diagnose the issue more accurately and recommend the necessary repairs. I hope this helps, and I wish you a successful resolution to your Renault Scenic starting problem!
      Thank You
      TMM
